    Oat milk vanilla latte
    Tay L.

This is now my go to coffee spot in the morning. Even though it's on one of the busiest street, parking is easy once you find out that they have their own lot behind the store. The store is always very clean and decorated so nicely! Especially around holidays. They always have a beautiful flower bouquet on the counter as well. Alex is the best, she's always so sweet, helpful, and always says hi and asks how I'm doing. The rest of the staff is amazing as well. They're always very quick with getting your order out, even when they're busy. The coffee and food items are always high quality. Love the Vanilla oat milk latte and the bacon frittata. Definitely check out this location if you're in the area!

Staff is super friendly and plenty of space to get work done. Many tasty drink and food options. One of my favorites is the grapefruit cold brew

Peet's Coffee is a coffee chain along with the likes of Starbucks and Coffee Bean, although I've found it's not as ubiquitous. I decided to try it out all the same, and I opted for a Peppermint Mocha as their holiday special. Besides Peppermint Mocha being my favorite, I also wanted to establish a baseline drink to compare with other big-chain cafes. I ordered online for pickup and headed over to grab my drink. Prices are on-par with SB and CB, so it's a pricey $5-6 for a standard cup. It wasn't crazy busy went I arrived before 9am on Saturday, which was a relief as I usually see a line outside of the store. The verdict? I was sorely disappointed in my Peppermint Mocha: I tasted absolutely NO peppermint in the drink. The coffee itself is quite good, deep and earthy, but I was especially going for the mint taste. It was basically regular coffee, at the Peppermint Mocha price. Perhaps the barista made a mistake, but in any case, it was a let-down. I wouldn't opt to return to Peet's, just because I could get better Peppermint Mochas elsewhere. Only chance I'd come back is for their actual coffee. But not today, folks.

I became a Peet's coffee regular since Covid-19 lockdown. This is the only coffee place in the neighborhood where you can pick up your coffee by the door. We normally just order the drinks on the mobile app and then walk over to the coffee shop to pick up our drinks. The location opens until 4pm everyday for pick up, sometimes there are people chilling outside waiting for their coffee, but it's never crowded. I think for all the coffee shops should do pick up by the entrance instead of asking patrons to pick up at the counter inside. Given the heighten sensitivity of how far and how long corona virus could last in the air, it's extra safe for both baristas and patrons to keep our distance and share the filtered indoor air to minimal. Maybe when things go back to normal, we can be a big happy family again! Anyhow, if anyone in the South Bay share my level of caution, Peet's at this location will provide a peace of mind and put a stop to that caffeine thirst.

Great coffee, painfully slow wifi (0.89Mbps down). Actually had to wait for pages to load to send basic emails. Please improve your internet speeds. The FCC considers 25Mbps to be the minimum speed to be considered broadband.

    All milk almost no espresso

As I've mentioned before, I don't give a bad review the first time I have a less than satisfactory experience. Today I stopped in to get my usual iced vanilla Latte. It was ready in about 1 minute to my surprise. So fast. Thank I found out why. The milk was dumped on the vanilla and espresso. Completely white on top. The photo attached is after I stirred and mixed it. I asked the person making, " how many shots?" 2 she said. I don't know where the problem is but I've had good drinks here in the past but today abs the last time, not so much. Literally drove to the next town to get a coffee. Cmon Pete!!

Peet's is always my standby because of their freshly roasted beans. I caught this on not moment.. I asked for my Capp to be dry and , I got a latte.. they apologized and kindly redid it.. same thing. Maybe the night crew is different than the day crew. That's the reason for the three stars.

    ICED MOCHA THANK YOU MYLENE!!!!!

This review is regarding a visit on June 1 between approximately 12:10 PM and 12:30 PM…read more I am leaving this feedback as a regular customer who has purchased different matcha drinks from this business on multiple occasions. I have consistently enjoyed visiting this location, which is why I am sharing this experience in detail rather than simply not returning. On this visit, I ordered the House Matcha with almond milk and paid $7.75. The drink was significantly underfilled, which resulted from my request for no ice. While I understand that removing ice can affect volume, the amount of empty space at the top of the cup made it feel like I received less than a full drink despite paying the full price. In addition, I was charged for an almond milk substitution, which further contributed to the expectation of a properly filled drink. The cup size also raised concerns. I recently ordered a Banana Cream Matcha at the same price point and received a noticeably larger cup. On this visit, the House Matcha was served in a smaller cup, and even the sleeve did not fit correctly. The combination of a smaller cup and reduced fill level created an inconsistency in value that was immediately noticeable. The most significant issue was that the drink contained no sweetness at all. The House Matcha is described as "perfectly sweet matcha" and includes agave syrup, so it is reasonable to expect sweetness as part of the standard preparation. Instead, the drink was completely unsweetened. There was no communication during ordering that sweetness needed to be selected separately, and in prior visits I have never been asked about sweetness level. This is also not the first time I have received a matcha drink without sweetness despite it being described otherwise. By the time I realized, I had already left the store and was unable to return due to time commitments, and it does not feel reasonable that multiple preparation issues should require a return visit. It is also concerning that there is no clear pricing listed next to the different matcha options in the matcha section of the menu. The lack of visible prices makes it difficult to understand the cost of each drink at the point of ordering and reduces transparency for customers. From a broader perspective, consistency issues across cup size, fill level, and recipe execution affect the overall experience. I regularly purchase specialty drinks and would be comfortable paying $7.75 if the product consistently matched the menu description, portioning was accurate, and expectations were clearly communicated at the point of sale. As someone who visits this plaza several times per month, I would genuinely like to continue supporting this business and have consistently positive experiences. That depends on clearer communication, more consistent preparation standards, and attention to detail during both ordering and fulfillment. At home, I am able to prepare matcha easily using a variety of milks, including almond, oat, coconut, cashew, pistachio, banana, and pea protein, along with simple sweeteners such as agave, maple syrup, honey, and organic brown sugar. I also keep ingredients such as whipped cream, sea salt, strawberries on hand, blueberries, and mango, allowing me to make specialty drinks like strawberry matcha, blended matcha with frozen strawberries, or other customized variations. Because of that, the value of a café drink comes down to consistency, accuracy, and convenience rather than ingredients alone. If issues such as inconsistent cup sizes, underfilling, missing ingredients, or unclear customization options are occurring across orders, it may point to a need for improved staff training and clearer standardization. Addressing these areas would likely improve the experience for both regular and first-time customers. I hope this feedback is received as constructive input from a returning customer meant to improve overall customer satisfaction and repeat business.

I'm so glad we came here! I would definitely be back next time I'm in the South Bay Area. It was THAT good!

The matcha flavor was bitter, but in a good way. It was earthy and not too weak which I liked. It was also super aesthetic with the chocolate square which provided a nice and sweet contrast to the bitter matcha. Definitely a high quality dessert. This spot is located inside the Mitsuwa marketplace food court area with parking outside shared with the Del Amo mall. It can get pretty packed in the area. I would get the soft serve here again, but I am a bit skeptical about getting the drinks here. That's because the matcha drinks look super diluted based on the color.
