I have used the app mainly at this location. Today, I dropped in and enjoyed my coffee and a pastry inside. Frank was the barista. Not only did he make a great latte, he was a big help with app questions I had. He let me know to have a seat he'd call me when my coffee was ready. He was super friendly. What really showed me his excellent customer service was when two older women with limited mobility came in and ordered coffee. Then they went outside and sat down. When their coffee was ready he noticed they were outside. He grabbed their drinks and walked them out to them. Loved that tender moment. read more

Definitely not coming here anymore. Alissa accused us of trying to get a free upgrade on a drink after we told her our cold brew tasted off and could we get something else. Instead of helping us she tried spinning it as us trying to get a more expensive drink. She never asked us what other drink we would like. We would of been fine paying the difference on a more expensive drink but she didn't even suggest that or try to make the situation better. Just right away accusing us of trying to scam them. She offered drip coffee which is less than what we paid for, so not as good save on her part. She needs to learn manners and respect and not try to make customers feel like crap. Also she has her boyfriend here all the time. He's inside and outside hanging out, watching, hugging on her, socializing while she's working. They are very touchy feely in front of customers and coworkers. This is not professional and private time should be at home not at work. I get seeing your partner and saying hi and having lunch but this is different. He's here ALL THE TIME. It's inappropriate to be touchy/feely at work and I hope Peets management reads this to address it. These issues are going to be sent to the district manager as well and hopefully something is done about her attitude and lack of customer service. read more

i didn't know peet's coffee had matcha! on their online menu i saw the brown sugar matcha latte w jelly and went to get that. the staff informed me that they have discontinued the jelly, but was still able to make the other customizations. yummy matcha, would recommend! read more

It's in a corner location of the shopping center and parking can be a little strange. Maybe, I just don't know Peet's line etiquette but the white old men regulars will cut you in line and act like you got nothing going on. Aka, stake your "proper" spot. The staff was friendly. My drink was a tad sweet for my taste buds. I would go back but wouldn't order the brown sugar oat milk beverage. read more

Best Staff! They learn your name & are content to say good morning as they address your name! So refreshing, my name is Marialuisa and every other coffee place calls me 'Maria' and maria is not my name so the fact that they nail it here is already a win! Regular coffee is always fresh, pastries presentation is always up to par. Another win is when you request the pastry warmed up it is not neuked like lifeless and so hot there is no way you will be able to eat and go! Some people such as myself take their coffee drinking very seriously. I personally tend to aim towards the darker roast blends since places such as Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and Seattle's Best just don't cut it. This takes me to "Peet's Coffee which I find to be one of the more sophisticated coffee shops. I've been drinking at various Peet's locations for years, even dating back to the 1990's when I used to reside in the Bay Area. This takes me to one of the newest locations, in Roseville which opened around the summer of 2017. Coincidentally, this exact location used to be a Starbucks (which relocated across the street) at the busy intersection of Cirby Way and Sunrise Ave. I came here with my lady on a chilly Saturday morning in February. One major advantage is that Peet's is a much more relaxed atmosphere as soon as you walk in. And even at 9:00am, there were very little customers inside. You almost get a peaceful and tranquil vibe immediately that would make this a comfortably and inviting place to study, converse with your acquaintances, or watch the world go by. The interior layout of this particular Peet's is well executed with large windows, ample seating, and even classy looking leather chairs. You will also find a generous amount of bagged coffee beans, tea, mugs, and other various items to compliment your own personal coffee bar. The outside area also offers seating throughout with large umbrellas. Parking can be a bit tight since there is a Bel Air Supermarket next door. As far as my experience, I ended up ordering a 16 oz. size of their "Iced Caramel Macchiato" with a "Maple Chicken Sausage" breakfast sandwich. The sandwich itself was just average since this tasted much like a fast food breakfast sandwich. But the coffee was excellent; bitter, strong, and gave me a jump-start for my Saturday morning. I also do recommend their Cold Brews as they far surpass the ones they make at Starbucks. Overall, "Peet's Coffee" is an excellent coffee experience that I would highly recommend. With a friendly staff, prices that are comparable to Starbucks, wonderful ambiance, and a positive atmosphere, this newest location in Roseville deserves a very impressive five-star rating! read more

After my most recent visit, I doubt I will return. The coffee is still great, baristas are great, but I had the same customer service issue with the same individual as I did before. Not sure if he is the owner but I found his level of customer service isn't consistent. I ordered my drinks and this particular individual was making my drinks. While I was watching him make them, I noticed he wasn't using oatmilk as I requested. When I confirmed he was making my drinks with the wrong milk, the barista acknowledged she didn't hear me about the milk, apologized for the mixup, and offered to waive the oatmilk upcharge. I had to wait a little longer but I appreciated the way she handled it. However, the older gentleman who was making my drinks never said anything to me, never acknowledged me, never even really looked at me. I know some people aren't always sociable so I was going to give him a pass...and then, a guy came in who I guess was a regular there, and the man making my drinks totally started chopping it up with him. I wasn't expecting him to start a long convo with me, but some type of acknowledgement given I had to wait longer for my drinks would have been nice. Also, he was acting like he was the one being inconvenienced that he had to remake the drinks! The topper for me was when I asked for a cup tray to hold my drinks (I had 3), he put one on the counter and walked away, and I had to put half my body on the counter just to reach it. Um okay. These things might be deemed as small, but given my last experience with the same guy, I think I'm done. I love Peets coffee in general and will continue to patronize them...just not this location. Too bad because everyone else I have encountered all other times I've visited have been great. read more

I was really surprised at how well maintained this Peet's was. I'm not sure if it was a newer location or what, but the atmosphere of this place was great. The staff were, dare I say, the friendliest of any Peet's I've been to. The drinks were on point, and the barista bars were open so you could watch your shots being pulled. A quiet environment with a couple of locals hanging around and music playing softly in the background. It wasn't often loud and clingy as coffee shops can sometimes be. A great place to grab a good cup or snack. read more

This Peets has been revamped recently and it now resembles a little bit more of a hipster coffee shop, than a brand name coffee chain. The baristas are all super friendly and they work hard to get the drinks out in a timely manner. The atmosphere is relaxing and would be a great place to spend an afternoon studying or working on homework, or simply reading a book. The coffee is solid. It may not be better than a local place that roasts their own coffee, but Peets is much higher quality than some other chains.... The best thing about Peets is that you know what you're getting when you order. They're consistent, and that's important in the world of coffee. read more

Slowest Peet's coffee in...the... world. I've been here at different times during the day and I always kick myself for coming in. There are a few bright people that work here but for the most part the rest are slow and have this glazed look in their eyes. Very nice people but geez get some efficient workers in here. Today I waited 20 minutes for a drink and there was only 1 person ahead of me. Oy! read more

Love Peet's coffee especially their orange mocha and spinach & bacon quiche- delicious! The place is large, bright and has plenty of power outlets. Love the layout and music. Such an amazing crew working here. Anytime they hire someone new, they fit right in. Warm, welcoming, kind, patient, all of it! This crew has been consistent about making this location a community place. I'll be honest, the Ethiopian I started with wasn't really showing how I expected. It felt a little muted and flat to me. But here's where it flipped, he actually checked back in, asked what I thought, and instead of brushing it off, he was like "yeah... you're right." That alone tells you a lot. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. This feels like a shop that's still evolving in a good way.

I was honestly so excited to go to this place. This coffee bar is actually quite hidden, as they are located right behind the Village General Store on Vernon. There's quite a bit of parking when the storefront is closed, so you wouldn't even expect a wait at all. They have such a spacious patio as well (if you want to sit down and have a good time chatting it up with your other friends), and such big space to wait if you don't want the patio. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville. They also used quite premium-grade matcha that made it taste really good with the whole milk they mixed in eventually. The ambiance and the hospitality was one of the best out there, and I can't wait to be back the next time I'm in Sacramento!

The customer service is next level ( Tony & Jennitse: she has the most amazingly white teeth), I have made me feel welcome each and every time I have visited the location. The ambience is perfectly executed. It is modern and sleek, and the brilliant addition of swinging seats gives the space a unique, beautiful vibe that really sets it apart from your average café. Now, onto the food and drinks. The coffee is exceptional, and the pastries are honestly amongst the best I've ever had. What really blew me away is the value. Both the coffee and pastries are affordably priced, which is incredibly rare these days. And as a 6'5", 260-pound guy with a muscular frame who definitely knows how to eat, I don't say this lightly: the portion sizes here are far above average! You absolutely get your money's worth. To top it all off, the owner is sweet, smart, and undeniably attractive, bringing a wonderful energy to the whole operation. The vibe is cozy and unique -- they even have swing seats (only two, so they fill up fast). We were lucky one was empty when we arrived. I ordered ginger tea and a couple of samosas because they looked tempting. They were absolutely delicious -- so good I ordered two more. Honestly, the food and drinks were great, but the atmosphere really elevates the whole experience. Swinging, chatting, and sipping your drink while enjoying a samosa is pure relaxation. I didn't want to leave, but I felt bad hogging the swings since others deserve that joy too. One-of-a-kind spot in Roseville -- perfect for killing time, catching up with a friend, or just enjoying a peaceful coffee break. Highly recommended!
