Ordered Vanilla Bean Frapp, double blended and no whip cream but they ended up putting it anyway. No worries, they acknowledged the mistake and said they will remake it for us. They even had us keep the wrong order with us. Staff were very nice and apologetic so no harm done. All in all, a good day to be had.

I paid nearly $7 for my coffee, and when I picked it up it felt unusually light. I opened the cup and saw it was only filled halfway. For the price I paid, I expected a full drink--this was really disappointing and felt careless.

The warm reception from the friendly server who even laughed at a dad joke was priceless. The staff was swift in preparing the drink order, which was a delight. The sitting area was calm and not crowded, allowing for a peaceful conversation, a rare treat these days. As for the food, Starbucks is a matter of personal taste. While I didn't have a sip of the frap, my mother-in-law enjoyed it so much she could've downed the entire venti in one go. Why not give it a try and discover the experience for yourself?

    Wasn't ask size or temperature

Waited a long time to get my drink about 30 minutes when they have two registers and only one is being used. I get this is a very popular business but hiring one more person or two can make a difference since they are close to businesses which employees can only take an hour break not to be spent half that time standing by waiting for their drinks. The baristas are ok but one stood out for her kindness and amazing personality like you wish business had people again. Sadly didn't get her name but she was making drinks standing by the pick up area. The cashier lady, she is so sweet but she didn't ask what size I wanted my drink and just chose by herself and also didn't asked if I wanted hot or cold so I got a cold drink on a semi cold day heck we all wearing sweaters even a jacket Drink was delicious but just add more staff and waiting time as well as make sure size and temperature is what the paying customer wants to have. Overall drink was delicious

The best service I've ever had at a Starbucks! The baristas were so kind. I think it was Tori or Lori that helped me out and she was amazing!!

I don't just leave a review for a establishment let alone TWO!!! Super duper mega HUGE shoutout to *BECCA* !!! She is absolutely such an amazing worker! I think she knows every customers' names! And I made it to that list so, yayy!!! I saw her hustle hard when the store got so busy but stayed calm and still addressed the customers and thanked them for their patience! Stay awesome, Becca

Jay and Jo knew exactly how to accommodate my request for matcha

Jay and Jo are amazing baristas and truly help their customers. Even for the smallest request they were so personable!! Thank you for making me feel so much better after a long day

Best matcha is from Offbeat coffee in sac, but the double at Gu Ca Phe is just as good and has its own unique charm. Worth the price, worth the drive! Amazing. If I got it with normal sweetness, I don't think I'd love it as much. Long version: Cute little spot in an unsuspecting location. I don't live in Roseville but was here for an appointment so I stopped by since this place has been on my list. After trying dozens of matchas in Sacramento and surrounding areas, this one definitely rivals the top spot. It's a small location and the service was nice and pretty standard. They also have a kiosk so you can take extra time to scroll through the menu with photos. Not a fan of the AI artwork throughout if I'm being honest but I know it's a sign of the times. And I'm glad their drinks actually do look pretty damn close to the photos unlike other businesses. I got the regular size double matcha, less sweet. If it was regular sweetness, I don't think I'd like it as much. The matcha is good quality, seems like it was freshly handwhisked but not sure. It is strong without being astringent. The matcha cream is amazing and strong as well. You def have to love matcha to enjoy this one. It's going to be stronger than something you find at Starbucks of course. I love matcha to hit me in the face so this drink was perfect. They have the good ice, too ! A similar matcha I've tried, and is my personal #1 across dozens I've tried, is from Offbeat Coffee (x2 matcha). Gu Ca Phe has finessed something similar and I honestly feel like it would be worth the drive from West Sac to Roseville just for Gu Ca Phe's double matcha. I want to try their other drinks. The sugar croiffle was delicious, too!

The interior is small but clean and brightly lit. The coffee is good but weaker than I expect when getting Vietnamese coffee. It is phin dripped, and the classic flavor is there, but less creamy texture. Traditionally the brew is very strong and mixed with condensed milk only - the ice in this instance is necessary to balance the boldness. In this coffee, between the added milk and large amount of ice, it is watered down and not the full bodied experience you would expect. Overall still a good cup, and probably the best you can get in the immediate area, but not wholly satisfying if you are seeking the traditional Vietnamese coffee flavor.

The pastries were good, we liked how light and not too sweet the mango pastry was. We sat around for a while enjoying our drinks and working. Also, not as strong caffeine wise. The service itself was fine. I do agree with the other reviews about the staffs attitude. The girl who took my order was kind and made our pup cup from scratch but as a whole, it feels like they took the girls who worked at Brandy Melville and placed them here instead.

Everything on their menu looked really good, but I decided to go with something a little more refreshing: a strawberry sundae. Ordering is super easy through two tablets to the left of the counter. It does force you to provide a phone number, so make sure you don't forget to opt out of those pesky text messages once you leave (if that's your preference). The tap-to-pay was very responsive too. The order didn't take long at all, and I very much enjoyed sitting on their little poofs around one of their tables. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and my sundae was so light and easy to eat. It had a generous helping of strawberry goodness, with even more at the bottom, which was quite a lovely surprise. He pivoted and brewed up a Mexican that absolutely slapped. Clean, expressive, way more dialed. From there we just geeked out for a bit talking single origins, roasting approaches, equipment, all of it. That level of awareness and willingness to adjust in real time is rare, and it's what makes a place worth coming back to. I'm really interested to see how he continues to shape the program here. I got one of their oatmeal cookies as well as their Matcha lattes. What I didn't know was that their oatmeal cookies were gluten free, and they were sourced and made locally by artisans here in Roseville.
