This coffee shop can be found in Terminal E, right after the security checkpoint for departures. I visited before 7am on Saturday, and there was a long line, so I had a 15-20 minute wait before getting to the front. There were two self-order kiosks and one register (with the employee running around like a chicken taking orders, getting orders out, and yelling at customers). Also, they don't accept gift cards at this airport location. The hot breakfast wrap with bacon was served warm, as it had been kept in foil under a heat lamp, but clearly it was sitting in the display case for quite a while. It tasted old. And the drink I got was the worst I ever had at Peet's, of all the locations I've been to in my entire life. Though I paid for extra chocolate, they put less than even a regular iced mocha, and the workers ignore you if you need help, so I couldn't even get this resolved. I understand they were busy, but there was a total lack of customer service here. I don't need friendly workers as long as you get the order right. They failed on all levels. Terrible way to start my day. It's good I was heading toward good food and drinks in Arizona for my quick weekend getaway. Avoid this Peet's at SFO if possible. There are much better options nearby, including Green Beans Coffee if you walk toward Terminal F. read more

When picking up the grandgirl late in the evening and with an hour drive back to the Hotel after, coffee was in order. This Peets had one guy behind the counter making coffee drinks, while ordering was done on a pad. Both Gayle and I found the pad sequence to be tedious and slower (right now) than human counter ordering service. I'm wasn't sure about the tip though. It's seriously not good. The coffee is really pricy and they only give you the option of Medium or Large. The staff is not helpful and the holidays/flavor coffee don't taste good. I'm never satisfied, at this point I would recommend getting black coffee. You only order off a machine, hard to find options or make adjustments to your coffee. I asked for hand sanitizer and the lady looked at me like I was crazy. The workers wear gloves which is supposed to make you think their hands are clean, but they touch everything with the gloves on and then handle your food and touch the lid of your coffee cup. This Peet's Coffee at SFO is just enough to get you through the airport experience. To me it's not as good as the Peet's Coffees you get outside of SFO, but they open at 5am which is a big plus. Their options might be limited too because I wanted the Honey Almond Matcha Latte, but they were sold out so I opted for a regular Matcha. Customer service is passable. They finish your drink pretty quickly though. I ordered the Large Iced Matcha Latte ($6.50). Plus $0.85 for Oatmilk then an EE Surcharge for $0.37?!? Great. The Matcha has no sweetness which is nice because I didn't want a sugar bomb before my flight, but the Matcha flavor wasn't as strong as I would like. The worst matcha I've ever had. The powder wasn't dissolved correctly and so much crumbles on the bottom. The barista told me it's because I chose iced latte. It shouldn't taste less because of the temperature. I asked him to make hot one instead if what he was saying was true. But he told me I already ordered ice and refused to make it again. I ordered an iced white mocha & an iced pumpkin spice latte. Both of these drinks look the same & the rude barista lady did not tell me which was which upon pickup. I just assumed there was indication on the cup. I left then I went back to determine the difference, also because they both tasted the same, & she claimed because I walked away she couldn't tell me.
