Stopped here this morning August 7, 2021 at about 10:30am and was made to wait 15+ minutes. Yup.. I checked my phone.. There was a slow lady chatty lady in front of me ordering lots of Coffee To-Go for an event. Fine, no biggy, what's the problem? The problem is Gloria, behind the counter, unprofessional and super rude. Sure, Gloria was serving the slow lady in front of me with the large Coffee To-Go order, however she could have easily while making the large Coffee order, spoken up and said on a couple of occasions, "Good Morning, will be right with you, will be with you soon, as soon as I'm done helping the lady in front of you. It's just me by myself today, etc etc.." I would have completely understood, and said "Thank You." Nope that's not what happened. No acknowledgement of additional customers at all. Gloria didn't speak up once..and it's not like she didn't see me standing there..especially with the lady in front of me super slow and super chatty taking her sweet time. The vibe? It's like "Oh we're Peet's Coffee, inside Nob Hill Foods Supermarket..we don't speak to or serve Minorities.." which was quite clear..point taken. Slow lady in front of me finally got her super large Coffee order..and went on her way and I was finally served and "sort of acknowledged.." by Gloria. No "Sorry for waiting...Thanks for waiting, thank you for your patience.." nothing.. I asked Gloria about Gift Cards I had received, she simply said "Oh we don't honor those here.." so I left. They should post a sign saying "We don't honor Peet's Coffee Gift Cards..because we're associated with Nob Hill Foods. Basic Courtesy = Zero. Customer Service Skills = Zero. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is perfect because Starbucks is in the same shopping center but saves you from waiting outside in line. Peet's area is always clean and ready to serve customers! read more

I like the bread & the coffee is great! But I have a problem with one of the staff members! Everytime I ask the woman (with blonde hair, short, not gloria) for a small favor like to warm my bread, or to toast my bagels, there's always an excuse not to do it, today, I wanted my bagel toasted but the bread had recently come out so it was warm and soft and I get that, but when I asked to cut it in half at least, All I get is "I can't cut it because it's too soft, guess what, My wife just cut the bread with their plastic forks and perfectly fine. whenever I see other employees they gladly warm my bread or toast my bagels. I really used to love this place, but maybe now's the time to find another location. read more

I might prefer to have a full-on Peet's shop nearby, but it is sure nice to be able to get a good cup of coffee from this counter in the Nob Hill grocery store ... especially considering that the other major chain coffee shop that is also in this shopping center is probably the saddest of that other chain's that I have encountered. While you can't get fresh roasted beans, Peet's eats or the full selection of Peet's merch, you do get friendly service to go along with your cuppa joe. Definitely skip the other place and come here when you need your caffeine fix! read more

This is a great spot inside the Nob Hill Foods. The manager is an excellent barista and the staff is super friendly. They love to create drinks on the fly if you're ever feeling adventurous. Gloria and Debra are total sweethearts and have been there a long time. Come in for great coffee and even better conversation. There's never a line and frankly, they taste better than the other guys... Warning: they are just a licensed partner with Peet's so they don't take Peet's gift cards or coupons. But don't let that be a deal breaker. read more

I often go to this Nob Hill on my lunch break for a quick sushi fix (that's a different review : )) and grab a drink at Peet's. As I'm usually in a hurry, because lunch break, I appreciate that the service is not only quick but super friendly! Iced, hot, foamy, sugar-free, with syrup, fat-free, whatever. They are pros and have smiles on their faces! Stop by next time you are in the area. They have great "secret menu" items. read more

I was up at 7am on a Saturday to run errands, and I was in desperate need for a caffeine fix. I drove up to the Nob Hill where this Peet's is located and was pumped that it was open. Who even knew anything was open at the crack of 7am? The woman behind the counter was friendly and sweet and dealt well with my stumbling order for myself and my friend on the phone. The vanilla latte and regular coffee tasted great and it was a nice alternative to Starbucks. read more

Love that Peet's is inside the Nob Hill where I shop and if you join the Nob Hill membership you can earn a free drink after the tenth drink (something like that). Cool perk for something I'm already purchasing on a regular bases. Bummer they don't take Peet's gift cards and sometimes there's a wait if you go at the wrong time. Always friendly service! I came here for a cup of coffee. This coffee is the WORST coffee I've ever had in my whole life. They said they brewed Major Dickason's blend, but I have that every day at home (my coffee maker broke the other day) so I know what it's supposed to taste like. I don't know what these people are doing but they have no idea how to make coffee. read more

I still hate that there aren't that many Peet's locations, but whatever. This one is located inside Nob Hill Foods, so it isn't exactly the most convenient location, but it will do. I have come here early in the morning on several occasions and there has never been a line. The staff is always incredibly friendly and fast. Being a Starbucks fan, some of the Peet's drinks can be misses when I want something that hits the spot. It's not that Peet's is bad, I actually respect them for separating themselves from SB. However, today they won me over! I decided to try a hot matcha latte even though their freddo disappointed me a couple years ago. It was so good! The tea flavor was strong, unlike other places where it can taste like vanilla. The barista highly recommended a secret menu item of an iced mint matcha latte, which I will definitely be trying this summer. When it comes to other drinks I've never had a bad one! All in all this is a solid location with great customer service. read more

Super quick service and friendly faces. I usually brew Peet's at home but have never been to a physical location until now. I love their coffee, and they have adorable merchandise for sale if you're into that. Affordable and delicious. I'd say preferable to Starbucks! read more

Best peets I've ever been to! Way better than the Camden location. The service is just all around better!

There is never a line! You can enjoy your coffee with hot soup and a sandwich from the Nob Hill Deli...its a regular lunch stop for me.

Overall their service is just fine, but when they get just a little busy their tables get all dirty and hardly ever cleaned, it's quite nasty. But overall they still provide quality drinks and there's not complaints there. read more

This Peet's has great service and high quality beverages. The staff is friendly and the manager loves making latte art. This place had the worst service, after 8 minutes of waiting to give my order, I realized the person ahead of me had ordered 10 drinks! I am a regular customer at Peet's coffee shop in Nob Hill. All of the people working there are really nice, but I want to distinguish the young lady Nicole among all of them for her outstanding customer service skills. She is very peasant, always smiling, remembers my preferences and always prepares my mocha with out reminder. Once I forgot a container with whip cream for which I already had paid and next time she told me that I could take another container even it was couple days later. She pays close attention and serves customers with great care. She is a wonderful person with very pleasant personality, which make my visit to this coffee shop very enjoyable. This place is great!
