    Pumpkin Latte
    Allan Y.

Been here many times for coffee in past and 1st time back in a while. Ordered a pumpkin latte, and I have to say it is a lot better than the Starbucks one. Guess I'll be getting that here from now on. They have a shared parking lot with CVS and a few other shops with limited parking. The service was average!!!

When I say I go years before coming to Peet's - I mean it. Always more convenient to go to other coffee shops but if you want a good, strong coffee - Peet's is golden. Using the mobile app, ordered a hot coffee and a skinny latte. Yea! Made well and on time. So happy to rediscover Peet's

Quality/Quantity - Medium coffee, second one for today... Yes, I really need to cut back. Usually when I am here, in this area, I will have 2 cups a day. Also got another refill for $1.40 as I had to stay a few hours while my daughter did her zoom call. Matcha Latte with Oat Milk - Small, but still cost $6.10. Almost as much as my medium drip coffee and pastry... Morning Bun - Shared with my daughter. It was good and not too sweet. Atmosphere - Decent size location. Plenty of Indoor and outdoor seating. Two unisex bathrooms, one twice as large as the other. You also need a code to get in. Open 7 days a week from 5am or 5:30am to 7:30pm. Limited street or mall parking. Too many businesses and not enough parking spaces. But not an issue for us today, as we got here early. Service - Good. Price - $15, average price for what we got. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1966 with your first location in Berkeley, CA at Vine and Walnut. And in 1971, you trained 3 young entrepreneurs which started a new venture called Starbucks.

Very quick service and friendly staff. The coffee tastes great as well, I always look forward to this time of year with the fall flavors.

Original Date of Review: August 27, 2024 ***copy/pasted from my deactivated profile I order from this location a couple of times a week for breakfast or lunch via DoorDash. Today, when my order arrived, I was disgustingly, surprised to find a bug at the bottom of my Tropical Iced Green Tea. I reached out to the store and told Dominique, the rude woman who I assume is a manager of some sort, about what happened, and to say that she lacked empathy for a customer's negative experience wouldn't even begin to describe the experience. As the conversation tensed, she immediately removed accountability from herself saying, "I didn't make the drink," and proceeded to tell me, "Ma'am, I don't need you to tell me what . . ." after I tried to suggest that her team needed training on cleanliness and attentiveness. Customer service has gone to hell. There was no empathy, no accountability, no genuine apology, and no appeasement for sending me a gnat/fly bathing in my tea. Needless to say, I'll NEVER frequent this location again because not only is the store dirty, the manager is not open to retraining her team. I called the District Manager, Lisa. No answer. Then she called me back and hung up immediately. Since I can't talk to someone with sense, maybe CDPH will convince them that they need to retrain their team.

Coffee's & Frappe's never disappoint bc it isn't watered down or extremely loaded with syrups or creams. Today's Caramel Frappe was stellar, you could taste the coffee brew & caramel drizzle, a match made in Heaven. In addition to the Frappe, I ordered the Holiday Spice Coffee before this holiday drink disappears. The ginger, cloves, nutmeg had me mesmerized bc it was so fragrant. The espresso adds that extra dose of caffeine that I always need late in the afternoon, so I was definitely a satisfied customer. As far as being attentive & patient, the cashier had these 2 qualities. I wouldn't hesitate to bring friends to this location.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

I had been to the church before, but I didn't remember the massive coffee hangout there! It's so spacious and offers plenty of seating. How long has this place been here? I wish it were closer to where I live in San Jose! I could easily imagine sitting in one of the comfortable nooks, studying or grading papers. It's also a fantastic spot to meet up or chat with a group of friends. It was definitely a nice place for a date! When we walked in, there were hardly any available seats, but the line at the counter wasn't long. We found a quiet corner to sit and enjoyed our breakfast. I ordered a hot latte with maple syrup in the name, though I can't recall the exact name. It paired nicely with my pastry. The almond croissant I ordered was delectable, with just the right amount of sweetness and flakiness. My partner enjoyed his cappuccino and savory bacon croissant. We walked up two steps to the restroom and were surprised to find more seats and tables. I wish I had noticed that area when I was looking for a place to sit. Oh well, it was comfortable where we were. The girls should have more playdates with their cousins so we can come here more often.
