The food was amazing and with a hint of Indian spices. The service was fantastic with the owner herself, Aleena explaining the spicing in the tea sandwiches, the scones and the lovely sweets. Service: workers were nice and friendly Ambiance: nicely designed modern space, the place is spacious. There are boardgames and plenty of tables to sit down and study. Wifi is provided. The place wasn't packed on Wednesday afternoon Masala chai $4.49 (3/5): This chai was fairly average, cardamom-forward tasting. Didn't really taste much spice. Kerala chai $4.25 (2/5): This tasted extremely earthy and not sweet. I'm not sure what this is supposed to taste like, but it wasn't my jam. Vegetable porotta roll $12 (4/5): the curry was yummy, it's hearty, and had a soupy-like texture. The porotta was nice and crispy. Wished the curry was given bigger portions Hazelnut puff pastry $4.25 (4.5/5): warmed up crispy puff pastry filled with nutella and they're delicious. I recommend this place for an excellent study/work spot. Nice and quiet with extremely fast wifi. The food options for a cafe are great as well. Their chai however is their weak point.

This was my first time visiting the new location for Lawson Bakery in Morgan Hill, and I have to…read moresay they absolutely did not disappoint. We drove over 20 miles just to pick up a birthday cake for my son because we have been longtime customers ever since their older location on the other side of Morgan Hill. Their cakes have always been amazing, full of flavor, fresh, moist, and very reasonably priced for the quality you get. While we were there, I decided to try their coffee and I believe the espresso was Tilly brand, and wow it was excellent. I also had one of their cinnamon rolls and it was honestly to die for. Soft, fresh, full of flavor, and one of the best pastries I've had in a long time. What really made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was super nice, polite, welcoming, and very professional. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Their boss should definitely give them a raise because great customer service like that is hard to find nowadays. If you are ever in the Morgan Hill area and looking for amazing pastries, great coffee, or a delicious birthday cake, look no further. Highly recommend Lawson Bakery! I would have took pictures, but my battery was dead. But next time for sure , I will

It…read morewas super loud inside and they told us the wait would be about 20 minutes, but we ended up waiting well over that. Besides the longer wait time, the experience was still good overall. The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. I ordered 8 breakfast burritos for my family and we sat outside on the patio. When we first sat down, the table was dirty and I accidentally got water on myself, but one of the girls quickly came outside and cleaned the table for us right away, which I appreciated. She even had the chef come sweep the area, so they definitely tried to make things right and were attentive to customer service. The patio area was actually really nice with plenty of seating and a family-friendly atmosphere. They even had games outside for kids like Connect 4 and Legos, which was a nice touch for families waiting or eating outside. The inside was packed, but the outdoor seating made it more enjoyable. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, country potatoes, scallions, and cheddar cheese in a whole wheat tortilla. The food was delicious and the burritos were packed with ingredients and very filling. Overall, despite the long wait and noise level, I'd still come back because the staff was kind and the food was worth it.

Overall: 7 Leaves has become my reliable spot for…read moreconsistently high quality drinks and quick service, plus it's such a cute, comfy, and spacious place to study well into the evening! Drinks: I've tried several of their teas, all of which are rich in flavor. My favorite is the Assam milk tea, which is earthy, creamy, and has probably the strongest tea flavor out of all the ones I've tried. If I'm feeling a sweeter drink, I get the Love Cream (their famous Jasmine milk tea with caramel and sea cream, and I add boba of course); I don't love overly floral drinks and their Jasmine milk tea is just right. Their coffee is STRONG, and maybe I'm more caffeine-sensitive than I'd like to admit, but the Tiger drink (another secret menu item that's half house coffee and half Thai tea) is perfectly balanced! Other tips: - Get the app to earn rewards and browse some secret menu drinks on there. I've learned that ordering on the app is so much quicker since employees don't typically stay at the register + super easy pickup mini-fridge near the counter. - I've studied for loooong hours here, like many others, with no problem at all as long as you don't mind busier environments. It's well-lit, has 2 private bathrooms that are relatively well maintained, fast Wi-Fi, adequate parking spots, and they recently added a little water dispenser station if needed lol. - If you don't BYO snacks, they have a limited but decent selection of pastries and macarons. - Sit at the tables/booth seats opposite to the entrance doors for easy access to outlets. - Peak times depend on the day, but I'd say it generally gets super busy and loud around 3-5pm.

However, the food did not measure up to past experiences. My wife had the French toast combo with scrambled eggs and bacon. I had the classic breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and a pancake. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. The French toast was extremely poorly executed. Made with too thin of bread and an over the top quantity of cinnamon. About a two on a ten scale! Service was fair. Just really sad dining experience. I'm not sure if this is a one off or a sign of decline. Maybe an inexperienced or incompetent cook. I really don't know what to make of this place at this moment.

So, I live for coffee. I roast it, buy it, sell it, cup it, pack it, ship it, mix it, blend it…read more.. you name it. So when I travel, I'm usually hauling around an arsenal of brewing gear like some caffeinated survivalist. And yeah... I'm picky AF. I like what I like. So if you're gonna serve me coffee, it better show up dressed in a suit and tie. In this case, it absolutely did. I had to give the local spot near Grandma's house a shot. I walked in with crossed fingers and low expectations, but walked out with a satisfied palate, a smile, and an eagerness to visit again soon. This is NOT your run-of-the-mill coffee shop. They roast onsite. Real deal, Holyfield. I started with an espresso. Then a cortado. Then grabbed a bag of Yirgacheffe to go because I gotta see what else they got going on. . These guys clearly know what they're doing; and if they don't, they accidentally perfected it anyway. The espresso was balanced, clean, and intentional. Nothing hidden behind over-roasting or gimmicks. Just refined quality coffee handled correctly. I'm genuinely glad spots like this exist, and even happier one sits right here near my fam. Seriously, can't wait to visit again.

The drinks were still top-notch--we really enjoyed them, and the Mediterranean bagel was also fresh and delicious. Quality-wise, they absolutely deliver. That said, the customer service unfortunately didn't match the level of the coffee. The cashier interaction felt curt and low-energy, and overall not very welcoming. When my husband asked about their most popular specialty drink, she mentioned the "Milky Way" and compared it to a Starbucks macchiato--which felt like an odd comparison for a specialty coffee shop that otherwise seems to take pride in its craft. More than anything, the interaction came across as disengaged and a bit uninterested, which stood out because places like this usually shine in both product and service. We'll likely still come back for the coffee and food, but I do think the service experience matters a lot--and this visit didn't quite meet expectations on that front.

The parking lot is large, so we found parking with ease. Upon entering, we were greeted by the staff. I immediately noticed the "instagram-able" hanging seat with a flower backdrop. The cafe had an abundance of colorful decor and wall art. The comfortable tufted velvet seating matches the playfully vibe of the place. Drink orders Refreshers: -Horchata Made in house, creamy with a very sweet cinnamon flavor. -Pepino Con Limon Made in house, a wonderfully refreshing drink that is on the sweeter side Specialty Lattes: -Dulce De Leche (+ extra caramel, no ice) The staff was very accommodating. Ordered "iced" w/out ice. Flavor is coffee forward, but the drink is also very sweet. (Reminds me of the strength of sweet Vietnamese coffee). -Spanish latte (iced +vanilla foam) Great coffee flavor with a nice balance of creamy sweetness (creamier and a more balanced when compared to a Dulce De Leche). A wonderful drink if you want a coffee dessert drink. -Matcha Cloud - seasonal drink Coconut water with Matcha Foam is a wonderful pairing. The sweet coconut water really is refreshing without being too "sugary", while the matcha foam adds subtle matcha flavor that elevates the drink. This drink is perfect if you don't want something overly sugary/sweet. Snack: Next to the register, they sell a small variety bag of their pastries. The pastries are small bite sized pieces of the Larger pastries they offer. A great way to taste the various flavors and types of pastries, at a very reasonable price. Restroom: The restroom is a single stall restroom "disguised" as a refrigerator door on the back wall of the cafe. The restroom is spacious and clean. It contains a single toilet and sink with a mirror. The restroom door is very thick, and has two sliding door latch locks. A wonderful spot to take a break, to relax and enjoy a drink, as well as an atmosphere that lends itself to catching up with friends and family.
