If I could give it 0 stars I would. I ordered braised wings and they don't provide ranch or bleu cheese. Barely any pork in my pork lo main. We usually do takeout for Chinese and Peking is our go to place! We have ordered from other places before and while the food is good, it usually seems to be a bit oily and or salty. Peking seems to have the perfect balance for us in regards to not being too salty and oily. After eating Peking's food we don't feel like we need to drink a gallon of water to hydrate. :) Not only that but their quality is very good. Never have we had issues with the quality of their food (ordered just as recently as this week). If you have not tried them yet I suggest giving it a try. The only minor issue is due to then being busy expect to wait sometimes for 30-60 minutes for delivery. However pickup is usually a lot quicker. read more

I love this place so much. My family and I have been going here and their service has always been great and friendly only thing is, lately I've been noticing that their food isn't the same. I usually order something like the General Tso or sesame and it was always pure white chicken. Now, it's becoming chewing and inedible. I found this restaurant by doing a search on yelp for Chinese food. It was pretty busy for New Year's Eve. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered potstickers, ribs, and fried chicken for appetizers. Our dinner was pepper steak with onions and Kung Pao beef. For some reason they brought out Kung Pao Chicken. So had to send it back. The food was back in five minutes! I think she brought the wrong tables dish. No harm. All of the food was tasty. I will definitely be returning. read more

Delicious Chinese food and a wonderful find. Found out about this gem from google reviews but decided to give them love for my yelp family out there. Ordered Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, shrimp with vegetables, and a hot and sour soup. Tried to order hot tea but they do not have that now due to the pandemic. Take out was a breeze so I recommend pick up over delivery for shorter wait time. It's an odd time of day but I am in a different area of town than usual and I happen to be hungry. Peking is showing up as being a favorite in the area. I am a tad dubious because Atlanta is well known to not have any decent Chinese food. Still, I am always hopeful I will find some tasty Chinese. Cautiously hopeful I pull in to Peking restaurant. I am the only non asian person in the place. The other diners seem to be regular families that appreciate familiar food. Good sign. The decor is cliche dated, busy, but clean. The owner is beyond friendly and welcoming (just as other reviewers had mentioned). Once seated and ordered I was impressed by the volume of regulars coming in at an odd hour (3 in the afternoon) picking up take out orders! "See you next time!" they said. " That's always my favorite but my wife likes the chicken so we get both" another said, bag in hand and smile on face. This already is feeling like a neighborhood joint. I like it. The menu is your standard chinese fare. Nothing cutting edge and that's just fine. Don't we all order the same two or three things all of our lives at these types of places? My waiter is charming and accomodating and the owner checks on me 3 or 4 times as well. He's a gracious host. General Tso's has as much vegetable component as chicken and this makes me very happy. It also feels more traditionally asian to have meat be more of a garnish than a star of an entree. It's full of broccoli, peppers (green and chile) , carrots and more. Just a bit hot, nothing to blow out your palate but maybe that's why my head was sweating on the way home? or it could be the sunroof open and the sun beating down on me. Honey walnut shrimp isn't the creamy gloppy variety. It's another dish very balanced with vegetables like zucchini, water chestnuts, carrots, snow peas, mushrooms and onions. Perfectly cooked shrimp and a light thin light brown slightly sweet sauce. Crunchy honey toasted walnuts garnish the dish and to me constitutes a much lighter fare, especially when sat next to General Tso's. Egg rolls aren't overly large but they are tasty and not greasy. Always a pleasure to eat in or take out! Family run business and a treasure in Suwanee. Sonny and his wife are welcoming and accommodating. Interior is like stepping back in time, but don't let that stop you from eating here. Service and food is always great! Never had a bad meal in 10 years of eating here! Peking is really the only place to go to to get delicious Americanized Chinese food that isn't TOO Americanized (like Panda Express or one of those places in mall food courts). I've been here multiple times so far, and if I named everything that I loved, I'd be writing an essay. I particularly love the soups, crab rangoons, spring rolls, hot braised wings, teriyaki dishes, Mongolian dishes, Peking dishes, and the donut dessert. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the portion sizes. My only complaint is that the decor isn't very modern, but I would never penalize a restaurant for decor (unless it makes me lose my appetite). read more

We have been looking for a new Local Chinese restaurant since our prior restaurant closed (Plus the fact the P.F. Chang's has gone down hill). We found Peking Chinese Restaurant to be clean and very friendly. The egg drop soup, pork dumplings and spring rolls were delicious! The entrees were equally delicious. We will definitely be back to the restaurant to enjoy more dinners and try out new items on their menu. read more

Very satisfying and FAST. Amazing speed for a decently appointed eat-in restaurant. Hot, fresh and very good. We had the Mongolian beef (tasty), chicken fried rice (up to par), white rice (representing), and orange peel chicken (top notch). I was most impressed by the speed of service, the wonderful attention by the friendly staff, and the delicious & crispy fresh vegetables in the orange peel chicken. Beware of the large quarter-orange peels in the dish - they took me by surprise as I'm used to little carrot shred sized peels. My 13-yo son thought the beef dish was a hit and the girls (11 and 15) we're most fond of the chicken and rice dishes. read more

Very nice and authentic. Love the "do it yourself" style. They supply chicken, sauce and rice while you put it together yourself. Eggs rules are delicious. My boyfriend just bought us $40 worth of food from here for dinner, as we were removing the food from the large white box they gave us there was a freaking roach inside! We were so disgusted we called and he said he had to see the roach as if we would have kept it. Now we have to find our six kids something else To eat at 10 o'clock at night! Do not eat here. We set the box on the counter for 10 seconds before we started removing the food! We do not have roaches! I can't believe we can't get new food or our money back! I am calling the health department in the morning. The man that answered the phone is a piece of sh** Update : this idiots response is we just want free food and couldn't afford to pay for our food lol why would he have given it to us if we didn't pay in full ? I'm not so impressed. I have always been curious about this place and it was just ok. Decor is cool and the waitstaff is friendly. Not a super fast place considering I was the only one there at that time. Maybe I was early for the party. Maybe it was what I ordered. I had my heart on something spicy and chicken, but ordered the honey chicken. It was just ok. Rice was good and plentiful. Crab Ragoons were eh. The sliced oranges with my check though was a nice touch. On my way out, I grabbed a Chinese candy which was amazing. I can't tell you what fruit but I don't recognize the flavor or picture. I'm not sure how they have 4 stars! The first order that was received of general tso chicken was cold inside, as hard and chewy as beef jerky and had absolutely NO taste!!! It is sad that a restaurant that portrays itself as a Chinese restaurant cannot serve even basic Chinese food. The shrimp were coated in a limp breading and the vegetables were overcooked. The egg rolls were soft and lacked crisp vegetables. The pork fried rice had no pork, no eggs, no vegetables, and no taste. Overall this restaurant should be ashamed. read more

I got the hunan pork with wonton soup and fried rice for lunch and it was all delicious! I didn't really like the spring roll, but everything else was so good and the portions were quite large. I ordered for pick-up and brought it home and it was enough food for two lunches! And the leftovers the next day were great too. We are new to the area but this place is so great we've been 3 times in 2 weeks. The food is wonderful and has a great variety. We've tried something new each time but the pan fried pot stickers are a must every time. We sit with the server Patrick every time because he is wonderful. We have friends that rave about this Chinese restaurant, with it's delicious entrees, inexpensive prices, accompanied by fast delivery. In this case, will vouch only for the quick turn on the delivery. The choices are typical, but quite unrecognizable upon receipt. Overcooked, soggy shrimp in a brown mess became the first entree to see the disposal, followed closely by the fatty pork slices in another brown mess with old tasting vegetables. Fried rice was greasy and the steamed version looked like a block of glue; obviously made ahead. Accommodating service might be what holds this place together, for the main ingredient is lacking in so many ways. read more
