By far the best Chinese Restaurant in Suwanee and neighboring towns. I have been purchasing from Peking ever since a friend informed me of the place 3 or 4 years ago. Last night I ventured out to try another local spot that opened up not too long ago and the difference in quality and flavor was night and day. From Peking, We normally order Beef and Pork fried rice, Singapore rice noodles, Sweet and Sour chicken and a lot of other dishes and appetizers. Always a win-win ordering from Peking. Wow - I was really surprised by how good this Chinese was! My boyfriend and I were feeling particularly unmotivated on a recent Saturday night because the day had been so gray and rainy and we weren't starving, so we decided to get delivery and Peking Chinese popped up as being nearby and delivering. Perfect. We pulled up the menu online and after some quick deliberation we made a decision and called in our order: an appetizer of honey roast pork and the Triple Mongolian with fried rice. The lady taking the order said we could expect our order in 45 minutes to an hour. Ok, fine. Less than 30 minutes later, a delivery guy arrived with a piping hot bag of food. Great timing! That was certainly a pleasant surprise, and an even better surprise was that everything was fresh and hot AND they'd thrown in a free egg roll with the rest of our order. Nice touch. And the food was really, really good to boot! The honey roast pork was delicious - just envision tons of slices of bite sized pork in a light honey-based glaze with sesame seeds sprinkled on top - it tasted very similar to the twice cooked pork entree we're both very fond of. And that was just a starter! The egg roll was also up to par because it was crispy and crunchy and burned the top of my mouth it was so hot (the true sign of a good egg roll). Our Triple Mongolian was also excellent - unlike some places, the sauce wasn't too thick or syrupy sweet and each of the three meats (shrimp, chicken and beef) were cooked perfectly. There was also a good variety of veggies included: mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, zucchini, peppers and onions. Yum! The fried rice was a little bland on its own, but topped with the Triple Mongolian, it was very good. It was all excellent and even though neither of us was starving, we ended up polishing off everything. After spending 4 hours at the car dealership we decided to stop for dinner and I must say we are glad we did. My mother and I came on a Tuesday evening around 6 and dined in. We took advantage of the House Special Family Dinner, $11.95 per person for your choice of soup, an egg roll, a crab rangoon and an entree w/ steamed rice. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken and my mother had the shrimp w/ Chinese veggies and we both had hot and sour soup. Patrick was our server and he was amazing! Very attentive and friendly. The food, the food was delicious. First the soup is brought out and it's hot and fresh. Next is the egg roll and crab rangoon, also hot and tasty. I was amazed at how flavorful and fresh everything was. Next the entree. Both were 2 thumbs up. Patrick even treated us to a coffee jello desert which I'm sad I didn't get a photo of. We went as a family this evening for dinner. We all got the $9.95 dinner deal which includes an entree, soup, egg roll and crab Rangoon. Over all not a bad deal. Mandarin chicken, Mongolian beef, General Tso's chicken and another chicken dish that had the red sauce you put on egg rolls.....plus an order of chicken lo mein for something to take home. Total was $51 plus tip. The service is always good and we are usually served by the owner and his wife. They do a big take out business and will deliver to areas close to the restaurant. We have eaten here for years and it has always been good. It's also close to the house and the service is usually always quick. read more

This is one of the best "hole in the wall" Chinese restaurant in Suwanee. The brothers that manage this place are always welcoming, genuine & caring. We have been going there for many months now and both my wife and I love the pan fried noodles ie the veggie version with the normal sauce that my wife loves and the chicken version in the black bean sauce that's my favorite. My boys also enjoy their chicken Lomein and chicken fried rice. It's not your fancy looking restaurant but the food and hospitality beats many that we have visited. Another bonus is the price is reasonable. We have been repeat customers for a long time now and will continue. read more

Okay we have been new to this area for a little over a year. The Chinese food we have tried in this area has not been anything special at all. Not bad but defiantly not memorable. Tonight we tried Peking for the first time and we were impressed. The food was very fresh tasting and the egg rolls were perfect. Not at all soggy or hard; but crisp and crunchy. He brought her her own cup with a straw (without us asking!), her own plastic silverware and, sensing dinner out with two little ones can be tricky, he took our order quickly and brought our food quickly. OMG the best Chinese in the area. We used to get delivery from another closer to the house, but their food quality went downhill. We tried Peking Chinese and absolutely love the food. We've had delivery about 6 times. The food is usually here early always at good temperature. The delivery boy is so polite and very nice. The portions are large and there's always left overs. We love the Mongolian beef the sauce is great and the beef is tender. The chicken fried rice is really good lots of flavor, the General Tso Chicken is my hubbies favorite. I had chicken Lomein last night, it was soooo good. The chicken is marinated and the flavors are wonderful. The Mushi Pork is great with or without the 4 pancakes. We love our food spicy and extra spicy is what we get when we ask for it. This is a must try! read more

Great service, and the best Chinese food around. This is not the lukewarm, heavily breaded, and flavorless food you get at most Chinese restaurants. It is hot, fresh, and delicious every time. I come here as often as I can for their lunch specials. I ordered the sesame chicken the first time I came here, and it's so good, I've never wanted to try anything else. However, my boyfriend changes up his dishes and has said the Mongolian beef and Mongolian chicken, as well as general tso's is also fantastic. I've ordered food from here multiple times and every time I order it my food is wrong and takes hours to get there. Whenever I call to complain, I'm told that there's "nothing they can do" about it. No refund, and they originally refused to remake my order until I insisted that they fix the dinner since my stir fried vegetables had been saturated in white wine sauce. They said after that they would fix it and deliver it to me, but then changed their mind and called back to say I would have to come get it. When my brother went out to pick up the food, the manager told him that I sounded rude on the phone and to keep a leash on me. NEVER doing business here again, can't wait to see these assholes close over their terrible service. read more

It was edible but most definitely not enjoyable. Sadly something has changed with this restaurant. The order we placed a couple of months ago was great. The food looked and tasted good, delivery was quick and hot tea was with the order at no charge. Last night we ordered almost the exact same thing and I called to ask that they add tea. After having to hear their representative take 2 calls ahead of me I asked that hot tea be added to the order I just placed on-line. She informed me that they do not do that. I said that they had with our last order, but if it was that they didn't want to deliver hot water at least send 2 tea bags. I mean they deliver hot soup, so why not tea? Whatever. She said "well okay but you'll need to give the driver like uh, $4" I said that was fine. I think it was because we didn't put a tip on the card. I always tip in cash, always and it is usually around 20%. That was poor customer service but I though that's fine because what I was really looking forward to was the food itself. How disappointing. It was as if it came from a completely different place. The quality of product used, the sauces, the texture, the flavor everything was so different. They lost a customer last night. We don't have extra money just lying around and can only afford to order out maybe once a month. So disappointing. Like I said, it was edible but most definitely not enjoyable. read more

This was another recommended restaurant, as i googled certain foods that we were interested in eating. Found some great pictures online and figured it was worth a try. The owner was quite friendly and seated us in a booth. My kids were very rowdy and the staff were tolerant the entire time...even came out with some coloring materials for the kids to keep them occupied. The food we ordered were as follows: - wonton soup for 1 - contained 2 wontons...smaller than i expected. - salt and pepper calamari - around 7 pieces on top of some fried white noodles and onions and pepper for presentation. the calamari was tender, however contained very small pieces inside - pan fried noodles and beef - lots of 'fluff vegetables' with a good amount of beef, however very little noodles were on the dish - chicken and broccoli w/ white rice - the white rice dish was HUGE! contained enough rice to feed an entire village! the dish overall was pretty decent (would have liked the broccoli a little softer - was more 'raw' than cooked - honey walnut shrimp - this dish contained some great shrimp. the dish overall though had a lot of 'fluff vegetables' as well. - also had a coupon for some crab ragoons (which we took to go) Overall, the food was okay - too much fluff vegetables (napa cabbage, bean sprouts, misc vegetables, carrots, etc.) excessive sauce in each dish as well... However, the price was quite reasonable (for the 6 dishes, it came out to $48 with tip / tax) The staff was very nice, the decor was quite nice (very authentic looking), and the restaurant was pretty full too. read more

The restaurant is nice and the service was great. The food is not what I am used to. I ordered chow fun and Mongolian beef, which were extra greasy and super sweet. I am not sure if it's a Georgia thing or not, but the food was too sweet for my taste. I asked for spicy, not extra sweet. Chow fun was so-so. I had to add extra soy sauce and sriracha in order to get some decent flavor. Mongolian beef was too sweet and too greasy to finish. I had to throw it away after a couple of bites. Greasy to me is when the meat is floating on the oil. Cut down on the oil and remove he sugar and the dish can be decent. read more

I lived in NYC for five years, and the food here at Peking is comparable to many of the Chinese restaurants in lower Manhattan. Lots of flavor. Takeout food is piping hot. Lucky to have a solid Chinese food option here is Suwanee. read more

Updated review 10/5/16: I was eating the leftover sweet and sour eggplant dish and I bit into a small piece of wood mulch chip. At first I thought it was bamboo because the dish had that, but took the piece out and tried to bend it and it turned out to be wood! Now I wonder how clean is their kitchen and what is being put into my food. :/ ---------- 10/2/16: My first time here and I am fairly impressed. Beautiful, decent decor with plenty of seating. I ordered to go and they had my food ready quickly and accurately. Great place to get decent Chinese food when you don't have time to cook, but still want to eat healthier. You can ask them to cook the food anyway you like such as low sodium, non spicy, more veggies, etc. The man up front is very nice and speaks excellent English. Portion amount for to go was pretty good. Everything tasted hot, crunchy, and fresh. It definitely tasted better than Panda Express. You can ask them to cook it authentic Chinese style, not Americanized. I would even dine in one day. I'm glad they are in Suwanee and close to home. read more

Best Chinese place around. They do a ton of takeout business and deliver to a limited area. I've loved every dish I've ever tried. They do a great job of packing real flavor and spice into their dishes, none of that same old bland tasting stuff. My favorite dishes are the Yu-Shing Garlic Eggplant and the Ma Pao Tofu (extra spicy). They also have the best Hot and Sour soup around. It's thick and full of flavor, not watered down like other places. The owner and his wife are always there and serve many of their guests themselves.
