I was a little leery of this because of the middling reviews, but most of them seem pretty old. I had some extra time, so I figured I'd check it out. And I am happy I did. The service was excellent from a couple of people. They were maybe half full at 1 on a weekday. The menu isn't huge, but covers all the basics, and has a pretty big lunch selection. I went with the beef string bean, marked spicy, and actually containing a bit of heat in the back but nothing overwhelming. Lots of tender beef, a savory sauce. Lots of green beans, so perhaps a bit healthy. Very average fried rice with it. Your choice of rice. And the eggroll was good, but not amazing. Still, very good entrée, pretty good eggroll, excellent service, decent prices. The place was comfy inside: a bit modern, but still feeling like an old-school Chinese-American place. Plenty of parking, easy access, although Livingston can get crazy at peak times. I will definitely be back.

Take out- General Tsao's/Sesame Tofu* with veggies and sauce on the side (the actual portions are much bigger than depicted)

Good atmosphere, reasonable prices, large portions, good service, and great vegetarian options. I usually go here when I know I want some good leftovers for the next day!

Dinner was amazing! Had the egg drop soup and shared the orange chicken! Also a bottle of plum wine! Service excellent and price reasonable! Will be back to try their sushi selection soon! Went back and ordered from sushi menu. Very fresh and delicious! Went on Xmas day for lunch. Service was speedy and food was tasty. We got there shortly after noon and place was getting crowded.

Never again!!! The shrimp looked like fried onion rings. The rice and noodles were dry. First and last time.

Not bad. I dont personally recommend the shrimp here, or anything fried. I like the sushi though!

I opted for delivery and was looking for a quick soup. Another helpers picture caught my attention and they offered free delivery on dash. Food arrived really fast, piping hot, and was absolutely delicious. I had the Dapanji stirred noodles which was silky and smooth and packed with flavor. The chicken was chunks of thigh meat on the bone and had bell peppers and potatoes. Sounds simple but MAN! Delish! It also had fresh noodles in a separate container. I also ordered hot n sour just in case I didn't like it, and I tasted it but couldn't put the Dapanji down. Hot n sour was also fantastic (leftovers for lunch tomorrow!). The eggroll was so so fresh and crispy. Not oily at all and the texture of the meat (white meat chicken) and veggies was PERFECT! This was probably the best door dash meal I have ever had. I must try eating in the restaurant soon! Side note, they also packed everything in the cutest containers and included utensils (spoon, chopsticks, toothpick)

I always add a soy marinaded egg and I can't imagine not doing so. I've tried both the thin and wide noodles and both have the most amazing texture. I've come with meat eaters and they enjoy it too. You order using a QR code at the table and the staff are attentive. The dining room is comfortable and medium sized and I've never had trouble finding a seat, though I do hear that sometimes business is bumping.

Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.

We ordered the dry pot lamb spine, but the portion was very small, and the lamb was extremely fatty to the point that it was barely edible, especially for $22.99. We were greeted and seated quickly and service was very friendly. As we were hungry, we took a mi Ute to decide what to order. We had planned on storm fish, but made a last minute decision to Sichuan sliced beef (we loveeee a numbing pepper!) with starts of egg roll and spicy wontons. Seriously those wontons are one of the best things in the whole city. They're SO good I could eat a few orders of those alone and be happy. Egg rolls are nice, but just a simple egg roll. Nicely crispy and tasty with the spicy mustard. The Sichuan sliced beef was the perfect thing for a chilly rainy dinner. We love spicy so I'm a bad judge of heat level, but this is spicy but a numbing spicy. Lovely spooned over steamed rice. The cabbage and bean sprouts were my favorite bits in this dish because they added a crunch. Might ask for extra next time!

Plus, I figured hibachi can take awhile, and I usually don't have a long time for lunch. Today I had a little more time, and I made a point to head over. It is a bit out of the commercial sprawl at the corner. Look for the food truck, that's the first thing I saw, and it helped me find where to turn in. I wasn't sure if there would be dine in, but there is, plenty of seating inside and out. Inside there are seats at the counter, plus booths, plus I think a couple tables. Menu is pretty basic: hibachi and a few sides. I got steak and chicken, with fried rice, and you pick two vegetables so I picked cabbage and bean sprouts. You get a Yum Yum sauce, and you can add others, but I didn't need them. And the sauce container they gave me was plenty big. The steak was tender and perfectly cooked, the chicken was tender and flavorful, cooked in a nice sauce. The fried rice was great. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. And it all came out in about five minutes. They had a steady stream of carry out customers, but they still got mine on the grill, apparently as soon as I ordered it. Fast and good, and competitively priced for hibachi. A big portion, but not a huge, two days' worth of leftovers portion. But I was stuffed and couldn't finish it all. When I saw the drink cooler with just water and a few juices, I figured I'd have to go with those, but they do have fountain drinks. And they actually have a pretty good variety, cola, diet cola, cream soda, blueberry, cherry I think, and a few others. Anyway, several pleasant surprises, the food lived up to its reputation, I was in and out fast, and for not a whole lot of money in this day and age. I will be back.
