What can I say except it's all true? The hype isn't hype- this place delivers. Very few misses here just ranking personal favorites. Go with a small group and over order. Trust your server. Get extra bread. Have a cocktail. Get dessert. It's that kind of place.

We went on a Friday evening at peak time, it was packed. We had no wait because they were very efficient with their seating and service! Great energy/ambiance in the restaurant and fantastic food. Pasta is made in house and tasty. The staff is knowledgeable and patient when it comes to newcomers. It's Tapas style so be sure to order a few plates to share!

We had wonderful service here on a Friday night as a group of four and sat outside on the uncovered section of the patio. We had reservations and got seated immediately. We were very glad to be outside, as it was a bit noisy indoors for my parents. We did have a bit of an issue with our silverware being dirty when we arrived, but not entirely their fault as we were outside. The vodka pasta was the star of the show. It was excellent. We also had the calamari and the seafood pasta, which were both delicious. We have ordered the polenta bolognese before and loved it, but it felt a bit light on the bolognese today. We also really enjoyed the Crispy Cauliflower Piccata. Overall, this is a fun spot to come with your friends with very solid food! A bit on the pricey side for portion sizes, but cool atmosphere and great service.

Service was wonderful and food was great! I was honestly very skeptical when the waitress recommended the broccolini and it was truly one of my favorite dishes. The only thing that I left skeptical about is the fact that we were celebrating two birthdays at the table and they provided a sparkler wrapped in a napkin.. the sparkler was a nice gesture but the presentation could have been better for a restaurant of this level.

This restaurant is so cute! The Pelato Rav and the Radiatori Vodka were amazing! Dessert was a 10/10 too, we had the cannoli chips and dip and the budino. Our server Matt was so friendly and knew the menu like the back of his hand!! The manager Kyle came to our table and was so personable and kind! No notes, 5 stars!

Pelato is a Brooklyn inspired tapas spot that is perfect for a date night! I believe it is a sister restaurant to Luogo which is one of my favorite Italian restaurant in Nashville. You can absolutely feel the energy when you walk into the place that gives you Italy vibe. Their food is amazing. I would recommend to get about 2-3 dishes per person. Cocktails were curated and prepared perfectly. They make their own pasta and it's so tasty. We started with the Butrata Crostini, meatballs, lemon pasta and every dish was amazing. The service was very fast and our server was so attentive and accommodating which made our evening very special.

10/10 would highly recommend! The spot itself was super cute and clean. The service was phenomenal and the food was amazing! I'm already planning my trip back to try a few other items I didn't order. If you're visiting Nashville this is the place to go for a nice dinner or some fun drinks!

Pelato is super popular in Nashville right now, so I had high hopes for my visit. Sadly, I was SO disappointed. Firstly, no onsite parking downtown is always a con. Secondly, the indoor acoustics are overwhelmingly loud and it was difficult to hear my husband across the table. We ordered a couple plates per person, re the waitress's suggestion, but the only thing I'd order again is the garlic bread. We came to celebrate our second anniversary, which was acknowledged. However, the vodka pasta tasted like canned Alfredo with red pepper in it. The pork ragu was way too salty, and the arancini was too bland. I was expecting to taste the guanciale in the arancini but I did not. The meatballs were average, salty, and featured many strong Italian spices. The calamari was one of the better dishes. The peppers on top were a nice touch. I don't recommend Pelato at their price point for the quality. I've lived in Italy for a few months and even the worst fare there was better than my meal tonight.

I don't understand the hype of this place. I thought that the drinks and apps were pretty good. We went for my friend's birthday and they sat us in this weird back room claiming had a good view when it was light out, but it was dark so it was just kind of weird. And then our waiter checked in on us almost excessively until we were waiting an extra 20 minutes after the rest of our food came out for our chicken Parm. I understand that it's a tapas style as it's ready situation, but we did tell them one of our friends had a gluten allergy and all her food came out after ours so it was a little bit awkward and we felt bad because she was waiting to eat. I thought that the rigatoni vodka that everyone hyped up was not good. It was gummy and cold. I just don't think it was worth over $400 for 4 people. I might need to retry and just do drinks and apps time!

Best vodka pasta I've ever had - would come back for this alone

giving 5 stars for the vodka pasta - so delicious !! The vibe is cute inside too and service was truly awesome. I just didn't love all the dishes. Wouldnt get anything else again except the vodka pasta. OH and the meatballs !!! I'd get those again, SO GOOOD! Will come back for the vodka pasta and meatballs.

I don't mean to sound dramatic, but the Chicken Parm and the ravioli were the BEST I've ever had. Here's what I've had here: Cheesy sausage stuffed bread 5 stars potato Croquettes 3.5 stars ‍ Stuffed mushrooms 5 stars Pelato Salad 3.5 stars Chicken parm - 100 stars Pelato ravioli - 100 stars Radiatori Vodka pasta - 100 stars little Italian gelato balls 3.5 stars Dark chocolate budino mousse 4.7 stars I review 3 restaurants per week on my IG Lillypulitzerstylist. Pelato is one of my TOP TEN NASHVILLE FAVORITES. Excellent service and ambiance. Perfect for a date night or with your girlfriends.

You walk into Pelato thinking you've got it figured out. Italian food. Sit down. Order a couple plates. Eat. Leave. Not here. Pelato flips the script in the best way possible. It's high end, deeply authentic Italian, but served in a way that feels more like a night in Barcelona than Rome. Small plates. Shareable. Meant for conversation, for passing dishes, for that moment where someone across the table says "you have to try this" and they're absolutely right. We started with the pasta in vodka sauce. Rich, velvety, and dialed in. The kind of dish that makes you pause for a second because it hits exactly the way you want it to. Then the baked clams showed up. And look, I don't throw this around. Best baked clams I've had in 25 years. Not close. Perfect balance, perfect texture, just flat out incredible. The meatballs came next and didn't miss. Flavor packed, cooked right, gone faster than expected. Then the baked ziti. Big, bold, creamy. Pasta cooked exactly how it should be. Maybe could've used a touch more sauce, but that's nitpicking. Still a strong dish. The space ties it all together. Converted warehouse, right off the river, with a vibe that just works. It feels a little tucked away, a little like you found something you weren't supposed to. Parking's in the back in a paid lot, easy enough. Five stars. Not just for the food, but for the experience. This is the kind of place you go to enjoy the whole night, not just the meal.

We know why it's packed now. The interior is stunning, the service was on point. Professional and personable at the same time. We had the pleasure of sitting outside on a beautiful evening. It was perfect. We started with the tuna tartare and marinated octopus. I'm iffy when it comes to octopus. If it isn't done right, it's horrific. This was so tender, sliced thin, and was a perfect bite with the chilled potatoes. The tuna tartare was equally as good, but the octopus stole show. The tuna has a burnt orange vinaigrette around the outside of the plate. It's more than just a garnish. Make sure you get a bite with the tuna. For dinner we had the bolognese, duck ragu, and braised short rib. All three dishes melted in your mouth. The duck was my favorite, I added a little whipped ricotta to each bite and it was just 10/10. For dessert I asked if they could make a pistachio martini, and gave them the ingredients. Their bartender hadn't heard of one, free poured it, and absolutely nailed it. The cannoli filling was too sweet and too thick for me. It tasted like thick buttercream icing. Personal preference, but I prefer a lighter filling. All in all, I would say don't walk to Luogo...RUN. Reservations are highly recommended.

The restaurant is in a complex of several establishments. The dining room decor is modern with seating on two levels. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the restaurant was fairly busy on a Monday night, I assume due to the happy hour special that runs all night. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer to start and some drinks. The appetizer came out promptly and was nicely done, with plentiful helpings of burrata and cherry tomatoes layered with balsamic pearls. The pearls have the appearance of caviar so it was a pretty and flavorful twist. Unfortunately, that was the end of the positives. Our dinner entrees included the chicken parmesan and grilled salmon. Both were overcooked and the salmon in particular (I asked for it to be rare in the center) was so throughly cooked it had a very grainy texture. The sauce was bland and the pasta overly soft. Service was pretty one-note as well, not rude but not particularly attentive either. Dinner ran $120 with tip including two cocktails and one beer. Really disappointing.

I took my buddy out for a celebratory promotion dinner to Ophelia's. We're from Huston and staying at the hotel across from this restaurant, we heard great things so on our last night we decided to celebrate his good news here. Within thirty seconds of us sitting down our waitress came out to greet us and pour waters for us. She was incredibly kind and bubbly, beautiful young girl. The service was next level. Our server, Lu lu, gave us great recommendations on cocktails and appetizers. She got to know what we enjoyed and recommended the whipped ricotta to us, which was delicious. Creamy ricotta with honey, oil, spice, and bread. Game Changing bread, perfectly baked. When it was time for our dinner, we decided to get the calzone, lasagna, and a pizza. The food came out within twenty minutes and it was just incredible. We decided for tiramisu as our dessert, but we should've gotten the cream puff, the table next to us got one and it looked great. When our waitress brought out our check she very respectfully asked where my buddy was from, as he has a pretty thick accent. He told her that he's Russian and her face lit up, she immediately started having a full conversation with him in Russian. Apparently, she knows the language conversationally. I mean, what a coincidence. My buddy was so tickled by it, and I think he really appreciated it. We also saw the chef come out and talk to one of the other tables, seriously, people were asking to speak to the chef to give their compliments.
