The products are of good quality, but they don't stand by their mistakes. I ordered a door with clear glass, but somehow it got changed to tinted glass without me ever asking for that. I actually said I wanted clear glass in every email exchange, but Craig (one of the owners) actually said that he gets too many emails to read them carefully. Based on that unbelievably lame excuse, he charged me over $1000 to get the correct door replacement. A reputable business would have admitted their mistake and gotten me what I asked for without extorting me out of another $1000. As I see on other reviews, I am not alone in this experience with them. They have serious issues admitting when they are wrong, despite clear documented evidence. read more

Buyer Beware, Pete Pellitier is horrible Business owner , we had his staff come out and verify the style and and product to make sure they were ordering the correct product . His assistant Ingrid ordered the wrong product . He would not help in any way, so I had to reorder the correct window frame and he charged me for it. He has terrible customer service and will not help if their is a problem, which was his mistake. I will have to take legal action to recover the money I spent to correct his company mistake . read more

We had a HORRIBLE experience with this company. At the on site estimate meeting , we were told that the replacement Jen Weld windows could be manufactured in three pieces, to preclude having to cut and re weld large steel rails around them. This was not correct, and they shipped two large windows with insufficient molding. We were originally told that they would be delivered in April, but they were not received until late May. We initially requested that Craig keep us up updated on progress, But after us leaving after leaving numerous unreturned messages at his office, he finally called and said that he had been "out of the office". Waste of time. I had emailed with Pelletier about a 5 panel door. We came into the office there and talked talked with the person I was emailing. He gave us a brochure and we made an appointment to have their measuring person come out. The measuring person came out and also measured for a possible front door purchase. He said they would get back to us. After two weeks and not hearing from the sales person I called the office. The salesman wasn't available but would call us as soon as he could. We never got a call. NEW FRONT DOOR. I gave the Pelletier Company the assignment of creating a custom Dutch door (one where the top can open independently of the bottom). It came out beautifully...a very elegant yet practical new front door. I can open the top and let the ocean breeze flow through the house, while the dog stays inside. It's also more welcoming: I've noticed that neighbors see the front door open (well, half open) and drop in more often to say hello. Fit and finish were excellent, and the installer did a superb job. We are in the middle of a HUGE remodel. In fact, at the time of having David help us with our windows, doors and hardware for ALL of the interior doors...our home was down to the studs. He and the entire staff at Pelletier have been great. They really know their stuff. Highly recommend this company! With limited availability of vendors in the desert, I had poor and horrible experiences with the two contractors which are well known in Palm Springs/Palm Desert. Luckily, a designer friend provided me with The Pelletier Company information...they do work at the estates and gigantic homes in the posh communities down-valley. I rang David, nervous that he was going to laugh because of the job size, but he was one of the most pleasant and helpful persons I've ever spoken to when it comes to contractors. I had 3 old windows looking out from my living room to the backyard pool, and the seal had broken on two of the windows which caused a fog effect. His suggestions were excellent, his estimates timely and accurate, and when the window manufacturer started to jack me around on the delivery date he jumped into action and used his pressure to get them to deliver my product in a timely manner. I now have a beautiful wall of glass that slides open providing an very inviting atmosphere when entertaining. Craig is amazing! We bought new construction windows, replacement windows, a skylight, an exterior door and interior doors from him. His response time and attention to detail is amazing. So quick that I am not sure he sleeps :). He worked simultaneously with me and my contractor, helping to make the construction process smooth and precise. I visited his showroom twice and he always took a lot of time with me (even though he is super busy) and his staff was very friendly. The best part of working with him was his problem solving skills!
