Stopped in Friday as wasn't as impressed as the other reviewers. Menu was limited with all time favorites omitted though pricing seemed to be on target for what they had. Chicken Penacchio was wafer thin and very disappointing though the sauce was excellent. Service was toddleresque for a new establishment but that is to be expected, within reason. Management seemed exceptional from what our group witnessed. Wishing this new place a lot of luck. My wife and I were spending time in Manorville and discovered this restaurant to grab a bite to eat. Friendly and quick customer service, and great food all around. I especially enjoyed the Buffalo Wings which in my opinion are the best on the East End. I have had wings everywhere and these are my new favorite because they are crispy, the sauce is delicious and the wings are cooked to perfection. The owner is super nice and very experienced in the business for over 30 years. I highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area! read more

I wanted to like this place but it is hit or miss. There isn't much variety in pizza selection, even at lunch time. The basic variety that you can find at pizzerias a few minutes down the road are missing. Pizza pops, salad slices, etc. I've watched others come in and ask if a number of different pizzas were available without success. I wish for the workers to put a little bit more effort behind the counter. On a positive, the dishes from the kitchen are good. I'm hoping things get better. Until then, I'm traveling a few minutes up the road. read more

Food came out steaming hot, just how I like it. One serving was enough to feed 4 people! I could eat the vodka sauce by the pint! AWFUL. Hands down one of the worst, if not THE worst Italian food I've ever had. First impression is that the restaurant is dirty. Second the waiters all smelt like they haven't showered in weeks maybe months. The owner smelt worse then a donkey with Parmesan cheese all over it. Pennachio's is a FANTASTIC Italian restaurant located in Manorville. The food, the service and the value make a "do not miss" in the Long Island restaurant business. Not only is the pizza first rate, but the sit down menu is truly an experience. I had two parties there with the last one having 17 people. The waitress, Rachel, was fun, attentive and truly dynamite. Every order was correct (and there were some crazy requests) the food was spectacular and EVERYONE was happy and full be the end of the meal. What a great place, great time and great experience. We had a Birthday dinner here for my God Mother (she's the Best) this weekend. There was 9 of us at the gathering. Tommy and his staff hooked us up!!!! Everything form Delicious shrimp cocktails, fresh mozzarella and tomato, platters and a super fresh DELICOUS !! Italian cold cut Platters !! On the tables as Soon as we walked in. His fresh assorted Italian Bread and Garlic bread stick assortment were off the chain!! I had the Fettucini Alfredo, which was the Freshest!! Most creamy and so light (I know it sounds impossible) not too much butter, nor too much grated cheese. It was a 10+and it stayed nice and creamy for at least 45mins to an hour!! As we all talked and caught up with family members we hadn't seen in ALOT of years. And what n abundanz amount of food on everyone's dishes. We all went home with Doggie bags. They even gave us the fresh Italian Bread!! Everybody in our Party, Especially my Aunt, had a Great and Relaxing time!! Tommy also sent out 2 dishes of his Awesome MozzarellaStuffed w/ meat and peas,Rice Balls on the HOUSE. SCORE!! Even his house salads were so fresh and crispy and all dressings offered were enjoyed by all!! His Entire Staff were so Friendly and made is feel part of the Family. Tommy also paid a visit to our Table wished my Aunt a Happy Birthday, and made sure we were all Satisfied with his food and Service. There's not too many places like this around anymore, where the Owner and his ENTIRE STAFF, take Pride in their Food and Service. We will be Back SOON!!! Chicken Franchise was so tender, great penne ala vodka, and ohhhh my the meatballs are the best ... just to highlight a few of our favorites. And don't get me started on the buffalo wings. This place is like being invited to your Italian grandmother's house for Sunday dinner they're far above a normal pizzeria it's rare these days for a pizzeria to use 100% real cheese yet this place does it's been so long since I had a slice of pizza where the cheese actually stretchedI had to go back as soon as I could to try the food .they make fresh mozzarella on the premises for their salads and other dishes amazing! there salad dressings homemade on the premises fresh every day nothing from a bottle.no processed gmo crap.I had the broccoli Rabe with Italian sausage and fresh mozzarella hero and it was crazy good my boyfriend had chicken marsala it was the best marsala sauce he has ever had we can't wait to go back for more. We were so glad to see old prima Stella change hands as we loved the food but the owner was not so nice or friendly.. it didn't feel good to give him your money, honestly, even if it was the best in town. Finally got around to trying pennachio and sadly we didn't like it. We got chicken fettuccini alfredo and a chicken roll for takeout and somehow this was $27. Waaaaay too expensive. This is our usual order from any Italian place and I've never had it come out so high. I still have no idea how it cost that much, the bill wasn't itemized and we didn't have a paper menu, we called in the order after a very long day and didn't care to argue about it, though I was taken aback I wasn't willing to spend time or cause an issue complaining over prices when I arrived to collect my food. Young man behind the counter was very nice and it looks nice and clean inside and some of the pizza slices looked appealing, however, we didn't enjoy the quality of the food. The alfredo dish was okay but really bland and the sauce was kind of an off texture, like too much ground Parmesan added at the end of cooking, and the chicken roll was sadly just a disgusting soggy mess, it was a good size but was totally undercooked and mushy crust except for the outer two inches on each side. And I didn't like that the sauce wasn't a smooth marinara, but lots of chunks of onions which meant my kid ran the other way. Honestly, if this was a day I wasn't absolutely dead on my feet I would have packed it up and brought it back to ask for something else, but we had just driven five hours and I was done. I wasnt happy to end my very long and difficult day raiding the pantry for Doritos because my $27 dinner turned me off. We do wish pennachio luck in Manorville but they aren't for us.
