In March, 2015 my wife and I moved from AZ to TX. We rent d the largest U-Haul trailer available in…read moreAZ, and had a smooth travel to Sugar Land, TX. The guys here answered all of my questions quickly over the phone, great for anti-social people like me. There were no added fees coming here, it was exactly the price we set in AZ and if you go over the days you paid for, it's only $20 a day (cheaper than what you're paying per day already). Pros: After Hours, 24hr Drop Off Central Locaton Free Month of Storage No Hassle Cons: Had to Buy Special U-Haul Adapter Small After Hour Drop Off Area 55mph Limit on Largest Trailer We had absolutely no issues in our move, except be sure to use the "truck lane" at toll booths... The "cars only" lane does NOT host trailers! Use U-Haul for your move, you won't regret it.

Gas shortage in the area, no gas stations in a 50 mile radius had gas when dropping off the truck. I was charged $22 for not leaving the exact amount of gas as it had when I picked it up. Contractually, they had every right to charge me but since neither of us knew there was going to be a gas shortage when I picked up the truck and when you throw in the fact it's a week after a 800 year Hurricane, they could've done what's right and only charge me the $2.10 per gallon going rate. I drove the truck less than 25 miles and couldn't have used more than 2 gallons of gas. I paid more in gas charges than I did to rent the truck for a day($19). Taking advantage of a gas shortage is not how you should run a business.
