I explained the situation, and he not only located the screw in my tire--showing me exactly where the issue was--he also told me he could plug it on the spot. Less than an hour and $31 (AAA discount ) later, I was back on the road. On Tuesday, they wait until 5:30 p.m.to start working on it because they had "had a busy day". After we drove away, the same thing happened a few days later. They checked things out again, made some adjustments and released the van to us. Again, the same thing happened again, so we had it towed to the Kia Dealer. The Dealer determined that the "After Market" Alternator was the problem and replaced it with a "Kia" Alternator, and things are fine now. This was an unusual problem, and they were very professional in how they handled everything. They agreed to reimburse us for the new alternator. Despite this problem, I would still do business with them and encourage others to use their services.

My car also needs tires all the way around and I will be taking my car to Meineke because they DO NOT just put the cheapest one's on...They put what the manufacturer recommends and this is important to me, because I want to know that I'm safe. What impressed me was the fact that a lot of these places will go along with the customer and put the cheapest parts on an automobile, Meineke doesn't do that, they stand by what the manufacturer recommends. At the end of the day, that's always the best decision, because it's better to be safe than to be sorry.

Quick service, but something shady is going on here. I had my oil changed only 3 months ago…read moreelsewhere and after taxes there was a $10.85 difference at this location due to "Shop Supplies" fee, which I've never seen before and I've gone to Jiffy Lube for my high mileage oil changes for years. Even the service I always get was a dollar higher here? I noticed it seemed high when he read the total, but didn't think much of it. They intentionally wait until after you pay to show you the charges and once your receipt is handed to you, it's "goodbye and your car is running on the street with the driver door open ready for you to leave". Not worth it for me to go back and cause a scene about, but definitely will not be returning to this location. For all I know, they're scamming for small amounts and pocketing the difference - it adds up. Beware.
