    I brought my car in to have all five tires installed and balanced. My car was in pristine condition, but when I picked it up, there were fresh, deep scratches on the tailgate where the spare tire sits. I asked to speak with a manager that same day and was told none were available. When I finally spoke with the manager, they claimed they reviewed the indoor cameras and saw no equipment touch my car. I asked them to check the parking lot cameras where the worker moved my vehicle, only to be told they don't have any cameras outside. Avoid getting your car serviced here. The staff is careless, and the management provides zero accountability. Your car deserves better than this place.

    The lack of professionalism at this place is unbelievable--from the initial phone call to my visit in person. Over the phone, there was no sense of customer service or etiquette. When I arrived, the person behind the counter seemed more interested in his phone than helping me. He had an attitude and didn't even attempt to provide proper customer service during check-in. I honestly can't understand how this is acceptable. I definitely will not be coming back, and judging by other reviews, it's clear this isn't an isolated issue. Came in to get a tire patch and observed a mechanic going through my engine department and other stuff that I did not ask for

    This pepboys location and I were off to a slow and painful start. It took nearly a month for the work to begin and there was a few issues. However, after speaking with the district manager and coming to a resolution with the store manager things turned around for the better and they were fair in the process and pricing adjustment. The end result was a nearly entirely new engine. Thanks for making it right Mario.

    've been coming to this specific location for the past 4 years, and this past weekend I took my car for the last time. You lost my business. In my four years coming here to get an oil change I have never been asked about charging me $9.99 for resetting my display oil light.....I made a tik tok video to see if this is common practice as I have never been charged... I got hundreds of comments from mechanics telling me that they scammed me, and it should have been part of my oil service... someone point out asking me why did I needed to get a new oil drain plug, I was confused by this comment I went to look my receipt and I got a charged of $4.48, they never asked me, they never told me I needed nor that they place a new plug... they just charged me for it. If this is not bad practice I don't know what it is...

    They fixed my Chevy Volt right up. They are one of the preferred repair facilities for Carvana, so I brought my car in for a repair while it was still under the 100-day warranty. Desiree hooked me up. She was polite and friendly even though it was late in the afternoon where everyone is typically running on empty from the stresses of the day. She got my car inspected, called everyone from the dealership for my parts, to Carvana's 3rd party entity (Bridgestone) to check if the repair was covered, and got my keys back to me and on the road before 4:30pm even though I brought it in around 2:30pm. The breakroom had a Keurig with fully stocked pods, cream, sugar, leather chairs, and a flat screen TV. There was even a workstation, media charging station where I could work and charge both my phone and laptop at the same time. It was fast, clean, and a really pleasant experience. I am not sure what the other bad reviews were from, but perhaps they were from before COVID or a long time ago and the staff has turned over because my experience at this Pep Boys was easy and enjoyable.

    Took over 3 hours to replace headlights bulbs. Charged over $150 ... such a rip off! Will never come back here again !

    I had been here once before and had a great experience, so when my car's AT light went on…read moreunexpectedly one night I called them first thing the next morning to see if they could get it in. They said they could and gave me a timeline for working on the vehicle that matched my needs. While I appreciate them getting me in on short notice, they consistently over-promised and under-delivered on when they would be able to work on my vehicle. They were able to diagnose a couple of leaks that they thought were the problem and sent me photos to show me what they were looking at. In the past when I've left my car at this shop for work they sent over a detailed estimate before starting the work, but this time I only received the verbal estimate over the phone. I drive an old car, which isn't worth much, and I did let the person know that I wasn't interested in investing more in repairs than the vehicle is worth. As it was, the two leaks were just over $1K to fix, and I OK'd the work to begin. After fixing the first two leaks, they then came back and told me there was a third leak, which would require a more major repair to the transmission and they would have to have their transmission person (who wasn't there that weekend) send me an estimate the next day. While I understand that it's plausible that the third leak wasn't something they could have originally diagnosed, it felt a bit weird that the photo they used to show me the leak was one of the original photos they had sent before starting any work. If the leak was visible in that photo, I'm unclear why they couldn't have diagnosed it earlier. The added cost of this additional repair definitely tips the scales of worth-it/not-worth-it to repair vs replace this car, so I wish I had had all the information before deciding to make the initial repairs. Unfortunately, despite stabilizing the ATF level, fixing the leaks did not resolve the transmission issue. On a smaller scale, they didn't check or top up the tire pressure, which most mechanics I've gone to have done as a courtesy when working on my vehicle. The day after I picked up my car the tire pressure light went on, and when I checked my tires all four of them had low pressure. It's a small thing, but especially when dealing with expensive mechanical items like cars, the small things matter a lot in creating a sense of security and trust with your mechanic. They did mention that they were under new management since the last time I had been in, which may account for the different experiences.

I dropped my car off at 12:25, I guess it was around 12:40 when he actually checked me in (I would come to learn this later). He told me it would be about 2 hours. I said okay that's fine, walked around for an hour and came back to wait in the lobby. I asked how the car was doing assuming it would at least be up on the lift by that time and he snapped "It hasn't been 2 hours I said AT LEAST 2 hours." I said yeah thats fine i was just curious if they'd started on it. Then again, an hour later he walked into the lobby and I asked how it was going. He sarcastically replied "I'm doing fine." Then I said I was asking about the car and again he got upset, raised his voice and said "I said it would be AT LEAST 2 hours until they started on it. I only have the one mechanic here." I get only having one mechanic but there was only one person ahead of me and he acted like it was unreasonable for me to ask about the car again. It had been almost 2 hours at that point, which he countered with "No I checked you in at 12:42." Okay-- so it was an hour and 40 minutes not the full 2. Then he said "You're asking me about the car every 30 minutes." I had only asked about it 1 other time which was an hour before. Idk what this guy's problem is but he's really rude and I told him as much. Adding on technicalities and context to say that he didn't mean "2 hours" but "AT LEAST 2 hours" and not to finish but to even start the work. I wasn't even making a big deal about it I was just checking in. There was literally no one else in the lobby besides me. I didn't snap back until he started raising his voice at which point I felt he was just being disrespectful. Idk what to say other than it was a really unpleasant experience and I wont be going back as long as he's there. I didn't get his name but my guess is he's the manager. Prices are fine. About the same as anywhere else. Save yourself the trouble and go to a nicer shop.
