Somehow, the website "adjusted" my order to three tires and when I arrived, was told that this tire was out of stock. Long story short, on a cross-country military PCS move we stopped a our hotel for the night in Nashville, my mother was driving one of the three cars and she bumped into a curb at the parking lot gate, ripping a giant hole in the sidewall. Earlier this week, I came in on for tires on my Ram. I'd called and spoke with Hunter, who told me of a tire that would fit my vehicle AND was on sale. During the installation that day, there was some mix-up and the wrong tires were inadvertently put on my truck. I called when I got home that evening, just as they were closing and spoke with Billy. He was profusely apologetic and told me to come in the next day so they could fix things. When I returned the next day, they promptly swapped the tires out for the correct ones, and I paid the difference. They handled everything professionally and even gave a discount as compensation for my troubles. I was so impressed with how they corrected and compensated me for my time, I decided to bring my second vehicle in for a complete set of tires today. They made sure the tires I needed had been ordered and were waiting when I got there. They came out during the process to tell me the tires were out of alignment and showed me the computer diagnostic screen. They fixed the alignment, balanced and mounted the tires, and had me out the door in 90 minutes. I don't know why the previous reviews for this location had so many negative posts, but I'm going to assume that it was due to the previous management and staff, not the current employees. They were all very professional and courteous. The work was done as promised and with a very fair price. Was quoted a price $100 less then I had to pay for a battery replacement. Staff was rude and I had to wait 2 hours.

In respects, I have been bringing my vehicles here for years with no issues. I left my vehicle to get some work completed over a week and upon picking it up, my check engine light was still on as they did not do all the work. I'm told to bring it back to finish the work order and they move my vehicle into their secure compound overnight. That night, only my vehicle was broken into, and they notified me that morning. I waited eight hours for the police to show up. They didn't stop by until three days later. Not Pepboy's fault, it wasn't an emergency. The manager (Bob) instantly asked if I had insurance and that Pepboy's policy is to only cover damages if the vehicle is moved to the parking lot from the secure compound. I was a little thrown off by that and argued that my vehicle was in their custody, in their compound, at minimum fix the window. That was a fight in its own. He would have easily walked over me if I didn't say anything. The manger (Bob) told me he would call the junk yard and get a window put in and this was him doing me a favor. Even your employees were saying how unethical that was. Whatever, still didn't lose my temper. After three weeks and six calls to corporate and a visit twice a week, I finally had to suggest to the assistant manager to call Safelite because I needed my vehicle. The assistant manager probably being the most competent manager there told me he'd call me back that Monday with a window installed. Wednesday comes by and I have to go into the store to find out it was fixed... No call as promised. While picking up my vehicle yesterday, the manager Bob tried to buy my Coke and tell me that he just "wanted to do the right thing and he had to sleep at night" by fixing my window. Bob, I stood in your store anywhere from 15-45 mins as you walked past me each time, looked at me, and refused to talk to me until I said something. I not once raised my voice, treated you or your staff with any sort of disrespect, and you took advantage of my kindness and understanding attitude. I was being respectful given the situation and I don't see why you would drag me stand like this. To top this month long experience off, I still paid $1400 in work, $800 in a rental car, and you still didn't even fix the original issue I left me vehicle there to fix, which is the reason my vehicle was even there that night too be broken into. The police officer, detective, store employees, and corporate representative all mentioned how it was suspicious that only my vehicle was broken into. Do what you want with that info. I've filled six complaints as of now with no response, each time being told it's going directly to the district manager within 24 hours and they will contact me. I want to hear from an upper level manager now or my next stop is a lawyer. This will become an issue of principal even if I lose money. If you want your vehicle broken into by the employees, taken advantage of, and given the run around, this is the place to be. We would need your phone number and any other details you would like to include." Once again, NOBODY got back to me. Even if you take 48 business hours to mean 6 business days rather than 2, it has now been 8 business days (64 business hours). This is how their "customer service" works - they pretend to take your information and tell you someone will get back to you. They NEVER do. They just keep doing it until you give up. Twice when I insisted on speaking to a supervisor on the phone with customer service, I was transferred to a "person" who was pretending to be very busy but that they'd help me if I can just wait until they finish various tasks. The "person" doesn't respond to questions and won't tell you their name. This is because it inevitably leads to an emergency that "forces" them to hang up on you. However, if you wait on the line at that point, the RECORDING starts over again - it's not even a person you aree talking to. I can't believe such a big company has such horrible business practices. I've got a 2014 Subaru Legacy with it's rear end over cambered. I took it in to have them replace the rear tires and adjust the camber. Simple job. I was immediately told they can only sell them in sets of 4 bc of its AWD system. Now, there is some truth to this concept, that all tires should be exactly the same, but not entirely. You see, it's really only the diameter of the tire that will have a big effect. If we put one tire that is larger on one wheel, it will have trouble and wander. If you put two tires that are slightly larger or smaller on the rear end, it will distribute power strangely, but most wouldn't notice it after a while. If you put roughly the same size on the rear (within a 1/2") but with a completely different tread pattern, it might effect traction, but probably not bc I'm not rallying the thing. The salesman (definitely a salesman) tried to say that he knows bc he has a Subaru out back. When I tried to go into the diameter being the only limiting factor for me, he told me to Google it and find some mom and pop place that might put them on. So I took it to the largest mom and pop shop on the planet for tires, walmart. Replaced them no problem, and Ill find another place to adjust the camber. If you learn about your car (or even better, Physics!) then you will be more likely to keep your money where it should be, in your account. read more

Excellent service got me in and out after work the Friday before Christmas in about 2 hours. Came in with low brake pads and and warped rotors in front and back that caused a lot of shaking on my '07 Camry. Dealer quoted me $800+. The shop was able to get it done after rebates for about $640 with model specific parts. Car now drives perfectly, they did a great job! UPDATE: I have used them for my regular maintenance a few times. Last time I went in, I found out they had striped the nut on my oil pan. Apparently these guys don't know what a torque wrench is. They had to replaced the pan (which took several days having to order the part). If I can't trust them to get an oil change right, I must have just gotten lucky before. DO NOT BUY ONLINE FOR PICK UP AT THIS LOCATION. I placed an online order for pick-up at this location. I received an email telling me my order was ready for pick up. I drove to the location. However, when I entered the location, I was told that it was a service only location and they no longer had parts for sale. This was fairly evident from the locked door to the parts floor. I protested to the clerk on duty, showing him the email, but he was indifferent, saying they removed the parts in July, and was unable to provide the engine filter that I ordered and needed.
