    Same as what im reading here about salem nh pep boys. 4 new tires and alignment almost 4 hours with appointment. Tires were way out of balance. Called and talked to manager who isn't there anymore he told me balancer is out of sorts and recommended me to goto dracut pep boys. Trip to dracut pep boys they rebalanced my tires. On my way back to work 2 of my centercaps fell off. And tires were still out of balance.. called dracut and told them about centercaps. The guy asked me to retrace my steps to find them Called corporate, and they made it seem like it was going to be brought to the corporate management. I was wrong. The manager from dracut called me 2 days later after i purchaded new centercaps. Told me to bring recipts for reimbursement. Back to dracutfor reimbursement. I called salem and finally got a great manager named Remmy. This guy is a genuine person and was extremely helpful. He asked me to bring the truck in so he could look at the tires. The next day, i go back to salem and see Remmy. I leave the truck there for the day, and they discover i have a bad tire. Salem didn't have any in stock, but manchester did. Remmy asked me if i would go to manchester, and i agreed . The next day, i head to Manchester. im there at 730 am. Store opens at 8 am. i walk in at 8am and talk to the guy at the desk, and he says he can't do the (1) tire for me. So i call salem Remmy and ask if i purchase the tire in manchester, can they put it on and reimburse me for the tire. Remmy told me yes. So i purchased the tire and go to salem. At salem and they put new tire on. It made the vibration less but still had vibrations. When i was driving i heard things hitting my wheel wells. Almost like pebbles. Im pretty sure it was the tire weights. I call Remmy. Remmy was awesome. We talked and he agreed to swap out the tires for different brand. So he orders the tires and about a week later i had an appointment to install new tires. I get to my appointment and they install my new tires. Different manager was there. After i left, it felt like my wheels were loose. When i got home i checked the lugs and everything was tight. But i did notice that all my rims are dented all the way around the rim. I called salem and talked to that manager and told him about wobble feel and that my rims are damaged. I hear the manager yell out "did the tech deliberately beat the customer rims with the truck ?" I tild him i dont think its deliberate. So the manager told me he was calling a specialist to look at my balance issue, and i would hear back. That was on a monday. 8 days later, i called to get status on specialist, and im told they were calling him today, and they would call me right back. No call back 24 hours later, i called corperate and put in a complaint. Im going on 2 months driving my truck with bad tires. It's gotta be doing damage to my truck. Corperate tells me he is reaching out to the regional manager and escilating my situation. 2 days later i still havent heard from pepboys. So i call corperate AGAIN. And the guy tells me the regional manager is doing an investigation and i should hear from him within 48 hours..4pm tonite markes the 24 hour mark. No call. I called corporate again and the wait was 15 minutes. Recording says i will get called back in order calls are recieved. I never got a call back. Remmy gets 5 stars Pepboys gets 0 stars.

    AWFULLLLL EXPERIENCE

    DONT EVER BRING YOUR LUXURY CAR HERE. Within 6 months I spent over 6k on fixing my car with pep. Not only did they leave a tool in my car hood and my step father had to fish it out they chose to fight with me about it! And refuse to give me my second payment back after my car was not able to drive a mile down the block without shutting off. I had to get a brand new car just to get myself to work. They fully took advantage that I was a woman and they messed up my car This is the only place I have take my car in the last 5 years and I have been going at it with them for 2 months to give me my hard earned money back and they still refuse to take any accountability and treat me as if it was my fault and gave me such a hard time and were so rude.

    Stay away. Not qualified, will definitely make your life difficult. The work was subpar and bad.

    I've been a loyal Town Fair Tire customer for years, but this year has been unbelievably…read morefrustrating. First, I brought in three cars, and every single one left with a low tire pressure warning. I checked the pressures myself afterward and they were all low--one of the cars was about 30% under the recommended pressure. One car had to go back three times. I even did an alignment while I was there, but the results kept changing: after the first alignment the steering wheel was about 15 degrees off to the left; the second time it was about 3 degrees to the right; the third time it was about 5 degrees to the left. The third car had another issue from the start: the tire pressure sensors weren't reset properly, so no matter how I inflated the tires, the readings were wrong. On my first return visit I specifically asked them to check the spare tire as well, but it was ignored. They didn't actually check it until the third visit. What really upset me was when I asked why they didn't test drive the car after the alignment. I was told they don't do test drives due to liability, which makes no sense--how can you confirm an alignment is correct without verifying it? Now the third car still has the steering wheel about 5 degrees off to the left, and the traction control warning light (yellow) is on and won't go away. At this point I have to take it to the dealer. Honestly, it's exhausting. Prices keep going up, but the service keeps getting worse.
