Do not take your car here! The guys working at this shop are incompetent!!!!!! Called them for an estimate to replace both headlights and running lights because the right side headlight and running light were not working. They said they could do it for $88. My step son took the car to the shop and after an hour of working on my car, they said that they couldn't fix it and they were not going to charge him. They left my car worse because now the blinkers don't work. I went back today so that they could fix the blinkers and the manager was very rude. He said that he did not feel comfortable fixing the car and that it was going to be expensive. After arguing with him for a few minutes, he told me to take my car and get off of his property. These guys can't even replace a headlight bulb!!!! Do not go here!!!!! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They don't deserve any stars. The experience was very unprofessional. I arrived at this location at 10 AM, and they told me to come back at 3 PM because they were fully booked, which I accepted. However, when I returned on time, the worker who was supposed to service my car wasn't even ready. I ended up waiting another 40 minutes, only to be told they had no coolant for my car and that I needed to go to another locattion The employee was not helpful; they didn't offer any compensation for the inconvenience, nor did they provide information about another location that had the necessary supplies. There was no reassurance about when I could return for service. Overall, the experience was horrible--there was zero professionalism, and they clearly do not care about their clients. They work in customer service but don't seem to provide good service at all. I will never come back here again and would recommend going to a different location instead; this place is just a waste of time. Afterward, I tried to call the store to speak with the manager, but the lady on the phone was disrespectful and wouldn't let me talk to anyone. Do not come here In addition Patrick was no help. place has gone down hill tremendously. made an appointment two days prior. was told an engine diagnosis was gonna cost $100 alone. I was never spoken to by April up front until I had to ask how long a diagnosis takes to then she responded dryly with a look of shock and responded with and I don't know and some other stuff. waited a while as I watched others who came after me receive good customer service and follow ups on their vehicles without having to ask or approach them. i was also met with uncertainty about what could be wrong with my vehicle and shown a part and I did not want to pay for a possible issue just for another to potentially follow. my keys were tossed on the counter by the mechanic with no follow up. my check engine light came on and they diagnosed it as the throttlebody, which they said needed cleaning. Which I was charged over $300 for. Two weeks later the same thing happened. Now it's with a different auto mechanic who also diagnosed it as the throttlebody but is actually replacing it. This Pep Boys also said that my pads and rotors were shot on my brakes, I took it to brake check who said my brakes were just fine they don't need to be serviced for at least another year. The staff here at Pep Boys was very polite and seemed helpful, but I feel taken advantage of. I won't be going back. read more

Straight CRIMINALS. I'd had some jerking issues with my 2011 Nissan Sentra for a couple of weeks and decided to get it checked out with Pepboys. After the diagnostic check, I was told there was sand around the Air Flow and this was most likely the cause. I'd went to the beach a month or so prior so thought it sounded about right and gave the go-ahead to fix it. I picked up my car and the next morning, the check engine light goes on.. Autozone performed a diag check and said it read air flow issue. Popped the hood and saw instantly that a clamp was missing on my filter. After my husband called Pepboys, they told us to bring it in and they'd put the clamp on. I went in, they put the clamp on without any kind of apology. So far, really crap experience. Here's where it gets criminal. Two days later, my car starts jerking nonstop, check engine light comes on and I've decided it's time for a new car, eff this. Sold my car to my father-in-law and he takes it in to a Nissan dealership who shows him the air intake hose has a 3-inch tear in it! Either they didn't do a single thing to my car because there's no way they would have missed this or worse, they tore the hose. STAY FAR AWAY. read more

Came for oil change and brake inspection. Drove down the street a few miles and almost got into an accident. Went back to the shop and they tighten the rim. However left me we a continued issue they were unable to resolve. I ended up taking it somewhere else to repair my issue. My vehicle is well taken care of and maintained for the last 8 years. These guys are great. I should have come here first for brake job. Instead, I went to a subpar garage off Hildebrand rd. that did a poor job. Brakes where to sensitive and had a grinding noise. Took it back to them and they still couldn't do it right waisted 2 days with them. I decided to go to pep boys Shavano Park, they did a professional job and determined the one of the rear rotors had been broken by first garage from over tightening and front brakes not adjusted properly. My lift gate broke last night as well as my brake lights went out. Because my car was old and I decided to be efficient I went and bought the brake lights at O'Reilly. The staff here are friendly, professional and prompt! I've brought my 2013 Tahoe here for several things over the past year. Today I had them replace the headlight bulb on the driver's - a few weeks ago they replaced the passenger side bulb. I was told at the time that I should replace both simultaneously - won't make that mistake again. The techs were so understanding. Not only did they change the bulb, they reconnected the lines to my wiper fluid (thought they broke awhile ago) free of charge! This location definitely has a regular customer in me!! read more

The manager lied about checking the balance on the tires and refuse to check them once he was called on it (mechanic told me that he didn't check). Then simply told me I had to fix the control arm, which I know is not the problem. I have tried to go about this in an understanding way but after the email from the market director David Lilly at Just Brakes I received I thought I would leave a note. I recently took my car to Just Brakes on South Lamar Blvd in Austin. When I got on the highway at 70MPH the hood flipped up and crushed the windshield, not to mention ruined the hood itself. I called up the shop who were very nice in telling me to go through my own insurance. I emailed in and got a response informing me that every hood has a safety latch and this should not have happened from Marketing Director David Lilly. Thanks David for that information I know that this should not have happened and I am aware of a safety latch. The point is that the hood has to still be pushed down enough for the safety latch to engage. Whatever the case, I have never had this happen on my car in the ten years I own it but the second I get on the highway after the hood has been worked under, it flies up? When I got back and found out what happen that they charged 525.00 for a part that is $80.00 at O Rally s auto parts right up the street. and the now the car was pulling the the right and need more work, I then discovered that some one had ripped off my ear phones from the car, after returning to the shop we then found that the whole crew had been replaced. with all new people. after trying to resolve it with there customer service they said to bad that they would not do a thing. After further research we then found that they where kicked out of the State of Florida, and that maney other people from all over the US had been ripped off by this company. read more

Convenient place. I get my brakes and oil change done here. My truck is over 220000 miles and they even offered to drive me to work on the time I needed the breaks done and would take a while. My fiancé took her Q5 to get breaks done about 3 weeks ago and they swapped out one of the HID bulbs, turn out the other bulb went out and she took it back to get the other one swapped the mechanic Andy recommended she buy the bulb somewhere else so it could be "cheaper" so the same bulb as on the other side was replaced turns out that this guy swapped out the german HID bulb for a crappy Korean made bulb that he probably had in the shop and in turn blamed it on my fiancé for buying the bulb on the outside which by the way he recommended this place is full of crooks and dishonest people. Went in to service my Silverado because the vehicle kept having power issues and shutting off while driving. Told them repeatedly that I was 90 percent sure it was my battery cables because Last time this happened that was the issue and even my truck was saying I needed to service my battery charging system, which I showed them a picture of. Informed them that worst case it might be my alternator and after that, their focus of course was just the alternator. They said my cables were fine and it was 100 percent my alternator. I spent almost $400 to replace, which took less than an hour to get the part, and 6 days later the same issue arose. Went back and told them they did not fix my issue and said I would not be charged for the extra work. After that I got the run around from different employees for the next 2 and a half weeks with either "Let me check on this for you and give you a call' or "I have to talk to the manager and give you a call" or "We are having troubles ordering the cables." Finally I was informed that it would cost around $500 to replace my battery cables and I would have to pay the FULL price. In conclusion I never got my issued resolved, paid almost $400 for an alternator I probably didn't need and STILL have to spend money on getting my original issue taken care of. read more
