Even though I live nearly an hour away, I still will go to them for all my auto repair needs (except oil changes, but even then if I can make it happen I'll go to Car One). There is almost no company or business I can think of that is better at customer service. If I was to right a dissertation on a PHD for "What makes a small business great" it would be about these guys. 1. They never lie to me. I trust them so much that I literally tell them "yes" to anything they say needs to be done to my car. This is due to them building up trust with me over the years to where I don't need to think about if they are trying to rip me off or not. They can see this review, so next time they see me, they COULD rip me off but I know they won't. 2. The customer service skills - they always seem to remember who I am the moment I say my name, even if I have not talked to them in over a year. Now, look at the attached picture. They literally filled out my mail-in-rebate for the tires I got from them. They even included the stamp!! They didn't have to do it, but they offered it without me asking and took care of it for me. 3. Loyalty. Read the other reviews on here. There is one guy who says he drives from Des Moines, IA because he refuses to go anywhere else. That's what it means to be loyal to a business. In Summary - there's no one better out there to work on your car. If you don't go here, it's your loss.

I pulled in the lot a half hour before they open (open at 7:30am). Even in a blizzard, there are folks lining up outside the door 10+ minutes before they open. With a handicap, you might not be able to stand in line for 20 minutes. It would be a great thing to have some number system or way to make an appointment (where that doesn't evolve into a half day thing for an oil change). 2. The parking lot is always choked full of cars. And driving in circles to find a spot isn't the easiest in this lot. Still, this is a great place in terms of value and quality of work.

With a job that sometimes has me traveling around the burbs, my breaks were in need of replacement. I called in the morning and they were able to fit my car in and finish it same day! We had a $120 off coupon that expired end of Feb but they still acknowledged it. It was easy for them to send me an estimate to my phone, texts when my car was ready for pick up, and allowed payment via text link or in person. Will was very professional and nice during the whole experience! They are ASE Certified and a AAA Approved Repair Vendor. Tip: Casey Automotive is one of the few in Illinois to receive the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence! Their mechanics are top notch so you can trust them when in need of car servicing!

FTD don't flatter yourselves you are not as big as Walmart. I had been a loyal customer for ten plus years and they have officially lost my business. Suburban Tires on Lake Street is my new go to. My niece took her car to this shop just because it was the closest place to her house. They mis…read morediagnosed the issue, and replaced several parts before we eventually took the car to a different shop where it was repaired for 37.00. I'm only writing this review because one of the things they replaced was the fuel pump, and she kept smelling gas. We took the seat of her car out to look and see what was up. The mechanic at this shop only put 4 of the 6 screws back into the fuel pump housing when he replaced the pump. I can only imagine what would have happened if the car caught fire. Don't trust these people with your car. If it matters, they were way over priced also.

Walked inside the store and was this employee (dressed with a green sweater with a hoodie) counting money on the front desk. I explained the situation and all I wanted is a quick check to know if I could get home. In a very rude manner he replied "we are closed". I asked again if he can please do an exemption and please take a look and he replied "I already shut down the compressor... learn how to read the sign" and I replied: "the sign said you're open!" Unbelievable the mistreatment at this business by this man. I visited this Discount Tire location because one of my tires had a slow leak. While I was waiting,…read morea staff member told me that all of my tires needed to be replaced because of the tread depth. However, I checked the tread myself, and it was still in good condition. I told them I wasn't interested in replacing the tires and asked them to find the cause of the slow leak instead. A technician removed the tire and showed me a tiny nail that had caused the leak. He also pointed out that this tire had been repaired previously. After that, I was told they could not reinstall the tire because it had a previous repair and, for "safety reasons," they would not put it back on my car. This didn't make sense to me. The tire had only been leaking slowly, and I had been driving on it for more than a month without any issues. I came in specifically to have the slow leak repaired, but instead I was told the tire couldn't be reinstalled after they removed it. Since they refused to put the tire back on my car, I felt I had no choice but to buy a new tire from them in order to drive home. Based on my experience, I would be cautious about relying on their "free repair" service. I left feeling pressured into buying a new tire when I had specifically asked them to repair the slow leak rather than sell me a replacement.
