The menu listed "MP" (market price\), so we didn't know the exact cost and were surprised it was $58 each, especially since the online price we had seen was around $40 The portion was also underwhelming Each plate only had 3 shrimp, and the fries and salad were very small--honestly not much at all--so it didn't feel like good value for the price For our family of four, the total bill was about $315. We get that prices can change, but for something that expensive, it really should be made clear before ordering\. The food itself was okay, but between the small portions and the surprise cost, the experience was disappointing\. read more

A wonderfully relaxing place in P-Town to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner! The deck is a must! Looking out at the water while having lunch was a mini vacation unto itself! Dogs are welcomed on the ground level deck and they will enjoy the atmosphere too! The staff were friendly and very accommodating! Shasha (?spelling) our server was a delight! Everything served hot and fresh! She was always attentive checking in on our corner spot and so great with our pup! Last but not least - The food was delicious! The chef needs a round of applause!! ! The crab cakes(and sauce) and grilled chicken breast were beyond tasty! I tasted my partners steak fries and wanted more! LOL We both agreed we don't think we've ever had better coleslaw! It was so summery and fresh in presentation and aromas and most of all, flavors! When we head back to P-town next summer - hope you will try it too! We will definitely be back to Pepe's! read more

The place is a gem. We were here for 2 weeks and it seemed to be a favorite of ours for cocktails with a view. Amazing atmosphere and really fun and friendly bar tenders and wait staff. They play really nice feel good background music that's not super loud. (Loud enough to feel in your soul but not too loud to have a conversation). The food is exceptional. We have tried almost everything on the menu and it's not cheap but not as expensive as many other places in Provincetown. PS... best coleslaw I have ever eaten. The bartender Ryan knows how to take care of his customers and always has a smile on his face. What a great experience. This is definitely one of our favorite spots in P Town. read more

My sisters, our cousin, and I had a late lunch Saturday at Pepe's. We sat outside on the covered deck with a view of the harbor (for two of us.) At 1:30pm, we only waited 5 minutes for a table. Our server was exceptionally efficient and personable. She had our water glasses filled and gave us time to peruse the drink menu. Our drinks (3 alcoholic, 1 non-alcoholic) were tasty, ample, and chilled for a warm afternoon. Our entrees: Blackened Fish Sandwich (for 2 of us), Pepe's Burger (for myself), and a Crispy Chicken Sandwich were delicious and presented well on miniature trays (accompanied by a pickle and coleslaw.) We made a reservation here while visiting Provincetown! The ambiance leading into the restaurant was lovely - tucked against the ocean, hydrangeas as you walk in, and plenty of outdoor seating with a view of the boats and the water. We enjoyed glasses of Truro rose, which quickly became a trip favorite, and some oysters to start with. I chose the pesto pasta and added shrimp, and my friend chose the lobster ravioli. Both were great, filling, and flavorful! We enjoyed the ambiance and our evening there. Service was a bit underwhelming - nothing was late or wrong, but just nothing to write home about in terms of care by the server. Either way, we had a great time. read more

Came to pepes for dinner and had a great time. The outdoor view was great and the ambiance was really nice. Service here was good, but this is the only place in town that ID'ed us and unfortunately one of us forgot our IDs, so that was kind of annoying. We got the crabcake which was good, but quite small. We've visited their upstairs deck for years. It has gotten pricy but the harbor views are nice. We tried clam chowder and scallop rolls. Good! I had a Pina colada--my first all summer. Fine. This place is awful. I have an autoimmune disease that requires me to carry around a water bottle to stay hydrated and they wouldn't let me put it on the table anywhere (!). Not even on any of the napkins. This was a closed, clean, Yeti water bottle that I was not putting on the dirty floor. As a group of 8 on a busy Friday night, we sat for dinner promptly at 6:00. Table was set in the far corner overlooking the sea. It was a perfect view. Ambience was lively, well dressed, and diverse. Pure PTown. I understand that the building offers two views of the sea. Ours was on the top floor. Our waiter, Alfredo, accurately recited the menu with a level of precision by which he served us with attention all night. He was accompanied by a team of 2 or 3 professional waiters, similar to what you would see in a NYC steakhouse. I had a the seared tuna (photo) and between the halibut, chicken Milanese, linguine, fish and chips, and the pecorino flatbread appetizers, we dined like royalty. Not an inexpensive dinner for sure, but not at all overpriced for PTown on a Friday night. Once we got off the ferry from Boston, we walked to our Airbnb just a block off Commercial Street and was completely floored how new and beautiful the cottage was. The hostess was quite snippy and refused to make eye contact. We were then initially seated right next to the water but got deprioritized when a party of six regulars arrived. I visited for dinner and sat outside on the deck. First, the hostesses were very friendly and even offered to give me a more comfortable chair. Our waitress, Sasha, was so professional and friendly. We ordered the oysters, burrata, salmon, and the onion flatbread. The sauce on the salmon was so good, and it was very fresh. The oysters were amazing as well. This restaurant has a great atmosphere right on the water with parking outside. I do recommend wearing bug spray if you're dining outside, as there were some bugs, but nothing too crazy. read more

Clam Chowder ($10), creamy and delicious --Colossal Shrimp ($48), indeed these grilled shrimp were huge and tasty, but arrived lukewarm. And only three to an order. The hand cut steak fries more than satisfied this french fry addict. The accompanying arugula salad was a nice side. --Chicken Milanese ($30), well prepared with a parmesan crust, not greasy. --Lobster Mac & Cheese ($38), just okay, at this price would expect more than three tiny pieces of lobster. Service was friendly and very efficient, even with a packed dining room. Note: the rude hostess referenced in a few reviews needs an attitude adjustment.
