Large portions and great prices make this ocean side staple of Oak Island a real treat. I live four miles away and left home the minute I hung up the phone. Food was hot and ready upon arrival. Take out has a separate pick up area so you don't have to enter the restaurant and wait to be seen. The staff was very friendly and helpful giving me a menu to leave at our home for future guest. Stopped through during Memorial Day weekend and it was bustling for dinner time. They have an extensive menu and anything you would want to eat from. Pizza place was available. You order inside at the counter and then find a place to sit or stand if you are carrying out. Food came out fast but I had to grab my own styrofoam plates and utensils. Because of the wait they came by and gave everyone free garlic knots, which was a nice thought. Food came out pretty quickly for how busy they were. We ordered a cheese pizza, Stromboli, and chicken parmigiana. The only disappointing item was the chicken parmigiana. It lacked flavor and was soggy. The spaghetti and sauce did not have time to sit and marinade because it was slipping off the noodle. read more

A snack bar like structure, tucked away on the beach in Oak Island, this is a hidden gem. The pizza IS GOOD. Toothy crust, sweet savory sauce, and quality Mozzarella in effective proportions make for real pizza. Also tried the Greek and Caesar salads which were solid. Personally I would give it two stars but my family likes it so I'll give the benefit of the doubt and go with three. The location is very convenient if you're on the beach and want some pizza. We ordered and took it back to the beach house. When I called in, the girl said we could split the order when we picked it up but when I got there the cashier gave me attitude about it. Ordered 3 pizzas from Pepperoni Grill. The delivery driver was rude and annoyed our condo was on the top floor. We paid online but planned to tip in cash, and he flat out asked for a tip. Which we gave a generous one, but still fairly rude. The pizzas were SO very greasy. Very disappointing. Sauce was flavorful, but I could only eat one piece due to the overwhelming grease. It actually seeped through the paper wrap and cardboard and left grease all over the table. We also ordered garlic knots, which were chewy and hard. Pretty disappointed in this place that usually gets rave reviews. read more
