Don't know if that's normal, but it was much appreciated while we waited for our pizza slices. Eat inside or out on patio. Not your run of the mill beach town pizza place - This place has great food, friendly staff, and all around good service. It's extremely convenient to the beach so you can pop in for a break from the sun. I don't believe they deliver, which would be nice, but you can place pick up orders. The garlic knots are amazing. Make sure you get some marinara to dip! We've tried the plain cheese and pepperoni pizzas and although they are wonderful - try the white pizza. The service experience was poor. It took over 20 minutes for one sandwich when only one customer was in front of me and the two that came after me got their food before me. Food wasn't the worst I've ever had but the flies make it pretty low on the go to list. It's ran by a bunch of young people who may or may not give a crap. Have eaten here Pre Covid and it was good! Ordered recently and it was meh. Got a veggie pizza, and the mushrooms are canned and not fresh. We were starving, so we made do! I am a sucker for garlic; which they include on most pizzas. Delivery was faster than the 1 hour promised during online ordering. We did try to order the previous Sunday night and got a recording that the wait was over an hour and they turn off phones. Overall, I would still prefer this mom and pop shop over Papa Johns or Domino's. I know it is not easy to run a food business right now,especially in an area that thrives on tourism. All we wanted was a pizza to take to the beach to watch the sunset. When we arrived there were many people sitting at tables but no one ordering before us. They told us 20 minutes...not bad. Thirty minutes later we went to see what was up and were told 7 minutes. By worthy five minutes we were really annoyed because many people who came in after us had ordered, left and then returned to pick up their pizza. After 50 minutes the owner/manager came up to us and told us they has lost our order and it would be right out. He was very apologetic and gave us free cannolis and garlic knots, which we didn't need...or eat. I thought the pizza had too much cheese and not enough sauce....but that's my personal taste as my BF thought it was good. Ordered a pizza and 12 wings on Friday. I asked for extra crispy wings and we were asked if we wanted blue cheese or ranch and we said ranch. The pizza was just ok, nothing to rave about. We didn't get any ranch and the wings were chewy. They should really start taking peoples numbers and texting them when their order is ready. They told us an hour and my wings might have been crispy when they were done. They could certainly have had my food ready after 30 minutes and we didn't get the food until about 50 minutes and a 6 minute ride home. read more

The Hawaiian pizza (Big Kahuna) was more of a cheese pizza; couldn't really tell there was ham on it and not a lot of pineapple. Wonderful people and food. Yesterday when the food truck for my friend's wedding cancelled 2 hours before the wedding, Pepperoni Grill offered to have 25 pizzas ready for us to pick up in an hour so the guests could be fed. This is a restaurant I will never give my business to again. Here's why. 1. I placed an order for delivery and was told I would have it in 45 minutes; it didn't show up until 20 minutes AFTER that. I understand food delivery isn't a perfect science and that there's an understood margin of error (that should be) built into the time estimate, but being TWENTY MINUTES LATE when I was given a 45 minute time frame is wholly unacceptable. 2. The delivery guy was didn't bring any change. I won't comment on his character (because I don't have to LIKE the person who brings me my food), but not bringing change is just plain dumb. 3. I ordered a half cheese, half pepperoni pizza that tasted like what the cafeteria of my middle school served. The pizza was, by every measure, underwhelming and disappointing. Lame cheese, lame pepperoni. I don't mean to insult the tastes of other Yelpers because, hey, we all like different things, but I could barely stomach this. 4. I ordered a large pizza (half cheese, half pepperoni) and a Carnalicious stromboli and it came to $30.27. I don't mind paying $11 for the stromboli, but a large, half-topping pizza costing $15.50 is way overpriced. 5. They gave us very little pepperoni. I'm basing this review on the delivery, as I have not eaten in. I moved to the island recently and was in need of dinner, so I called here. The girl who answered the phone was super nice, didn't make me feel rushed (even when I stupidly blanked on what my new address was) and was generally just a great first impression. The delivery was a little less than the quoted 40 minutes, and the driver was again, very nice. The food was great, we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a stromboli. It was hot when we got it, and delicious. There was plenty so there were leftovers the next day. Lots of cheese in the stromboli and the marinara that came on the side was great. I prefer the thinner crust pizza so it was perfect for me, for my husband it was a little on the thin crust side, but his preference is Sicilian - he still agreed it was great "for thin crust pizza" We will eat there again -- either delivery or dine in! read more

We chose this place based on reviews. By the looks, its a cute little location. They have an extensive menu of options. The garlic knots were pretty good. We got the wings and I did have a fly on my wings that was covered in Texas Pete, I thought it was a burnt piece and brushed it off. Thankfully I did, I thought the fly was still alive. I don't know, it was gross. Until I got the fly wing, I was enjoying the wings. Since we were on vacay, limited selections in the area and we already ordered two pizzas, I had to keep it moving and so we did. The pizza was okay, we got a cheese and then a meat lovers style. I had read previous reviews and was intrigued by some of the offerings. Our group was torn so the first order was for a pepperoni pizza and a Johnny Supremo. We ordered well after the rest of our party so we had the opportunity to try those before our food came out. I was already pleased with our choices. The crust was light and crunchy.... cooked to perfection ! Then came the Lasagna Pizza! It is basically all the ingredients you would find in lasagna (minus noodles) on a pizza crust. My nephew said this was easily the best pizza he has ever eaten and I would have to agree! The garlic knots were good, kids enjoyed Chicken Parmesan......but the star of the show was definitely the Lasagna Pizza! We will go back for that! I want to also say that the atmosphere is awesome. Have been going there for years and loved it. We went there recently to get take out. The girl at the window was wearing her mask like a chin guard so her nose and mouth were exposed. This caused us to look further in the window where two additional employees were not wearing masks. Will not be going back. read more
