The pizza is pretty good but the service is bad. We ordered ahead of time and arrived there twenty minutes after calling. The people behind the counter are a little careless and it took three tries to get their attention. We had to wait for another twenty minutes to get our one pie. One pie! I don't think it takes forty minutes to make a simple pepperoni pizza. The pizza itself was okay, a little to greasy maybe, but still good. 3 stars for good pizza but bad service. They forgot our diet pepsi and our pepperoni pizza, and when we asked for them to replace our pizza, the best they would do would be to give us free pepperoni on a NEW pizza that we'd have to pay $20 for. This place is ok. Most of the the time the pizza taste weird like freezer burnt. Chicken Calzone microwaved then placed in the oven. They kept the plastic wrapper on when they put the chicken calzone in the microwave. The Place is expensive and need of a renovation. I would give one star but I am going to be generous. read more

This is one of the better pizza places in town. They have an amazing variety of foods that are all tasty. I can't remember how many times I have tried different things and have loved each one. Their caesar salad is amazing and so are their other salads. I love the pizza - grandma and the white slice are amazing. Also, there's very little wait for your food. I have ordered from the directly and waited less than five minutes for my piping hot food and their delivery is not only hot and fresh, but really fast. read more

We came into town late and were starving. We called in for a couple pizzas and sandwiches for delivery. The food came fairly quickly, but the driver had forgotten a sandwich. The driver never came back with it, which is why I'm subtracting a star. But a quick phone call later and one of the guys in charge made a fresh sandwich and drove it over himself. If paying $20 for a lousy pizza isn't enough to turn you off to this rip off joint then how about knowing that they will make unauthorized charges to your credit card if you make the mistake of accidentally leaving it there when the fat slob working behind the counter doesn't hand it back to you when you leave? I was charged $120 in 3 fraudulent transactions. I'm sure they would have charged me even more but the Bank fraud department was right on top of it and was already in the process of investigating before I had contacted the them. There has been a change for the good at this place. A lot of inconsistency over the last year and a half but what a difference! Over the last few months both the service and the food have become outstanding! The pizzas are perfect! Everything you expect from what a NY pizza should be. Service has not changed a lick - it entirely depends upon who you interact with and on what day. "Pops" should understand that customers see how he treats his employees, and you never seem to be genuinely thanked for your patronage. The elderly gentleman "Pops" emphasizes if an eppi roll was made fresh for you. (We've heard this a few times now.) Why wouldn't food be made to order?! Prices have only consistently increased, and I would hate to think that repairs and television menu-board costs are being passed down to the customer. I seriously think it comes down to their being the only pizza place that delivers.. P.S. Go to La Capannina, it's worth the drive to Wainscott. Well lets start off with the delivary.. over an hour always, they expext you to get out of your house or business and go to the car to get the food. Always forgetting something and i mean ALWAYS. Now the food... the stuffed shells are good and thats it, i tryed alot of things (meatballs dry and cold, lasagna hard no cheese, cheese quesadilla was so cold and hard i just could eat it.) WARNING SCAM!!!! THE MENU IS "NOT UPDATED" They charge you more then they say on the menu SOMETIMES. The owner of this place is so rude, I haven't been back for years. As much as I dislike giving this place my business, we decided to have a pie delivered instead of going out. Whoever answered the phone was yelling & short, while I tried to ask if they take cards over the phone. Gave him the info. & about an hour later the delivery person came with the pie & said we need to call back with the info again. I said sure. We reheated the pie & as we were sitting in the living room & eating, the delivery person knocked on the door again saying the owner sent him back & told him to come into our home & stand next to us by the phone until we called! Of course, this was not going to happen. This is totally unacceptable & unbelieveable behavior. Very unfair of the owner to make the delivery person drive all the back to our house, and also very aggressive of the owner to expect that we would let the delivery guy into our home and stand there while we called. When we finished our dinner we called in the credit card number (again). The owner is out of line. In addition, the pizza is mediocre at best. On top of that, after the pizza, I had stomach trouble for the rest of the night. read more

I was absolutely taken aback by the rudeness and cavalier attitude of the employee I encountered today. I was here with my daughter today, the place was not that busy...first the guy took forever to even acknowledge us, as he was cutting dough. When he finally did come over, I mentioned that my daughter had a peanut and tree but allergy and asked if the wrap was ok for her. His response was he didn't know. That's fine, I understand that he might not know the ins and outs of every item. There are simple ways to find out though and his unwillingness to do so was astonishing. I have never experienced anything like it. I asked if there was a list of ingredients or if I could take a look at the wrapper, he stated that he was too busy for that. He just kept stating how busy he was and he didn't have time for it. Again, the place was not crowded and we were the only ones trying to order. Probably won't be too busy without actual customers. Not sure if this guy is an employee or owner but either way he is in the wrong line of work. If you have allergies or have kids that have allergies I would avoid this place. read more

So I ordered a Ceasar salad and because the menu reads "anchovies upon request" I added them. A small salad apparently means sample size and the anchovies, which are traditional in every Ceasar Salad I've made or ordered added 1/2 again the menu price. For my money The Springs Pizza up the road is more genuine, much more flavorful and there is no comparison in value/quantity for your money.
