To date my family and I have dined at Pepper's ten or twelve times. We have never been disappointed with the food. Burgers and steaks are prepared perfectly. Breakfast was very good. On our last visit we encountered a bit of questionable service worthy of note. Our server was the bartender and she was friendly and accommodating. We ordered chicken wings as a side. They were not prepared as ordered. When we mentioned it to staff, they had them re-prepared (actually again they missed the order) but charged us for both orders. When we spoke to the manager, he asked "Well, did you eat the first order?" In fact we did, as the server did not remove the first order from the table, nor did she indicate that the first order needed to be returned. To his credit, the manager gave us a voucher for a free side order for the next visit. However, overall staff made us feel as if the problem originated with us. I'll admit, when I first saw this place, I was expecting something along the lines of an Applebee's. It is a bar and grill, but that is where the similarity ends. First of all, peppers is not a chain. Second, their menu is HUGE, and the food is really good! They also make a mean mixed drink. An hour and a half later we received a text that the order had been cancelled because the restaurant was unable to fulfill it despite choosing the option for restaurant to replace items that are unavailable. MMMM. Had the Bourbon Burger for lunch on Sat and it really hit the spot. It was tangy and sweet with crispy onion straws and cooked perfectly. I always love the fries here; they have a crunchy coating that makes them especially good. I had breakfast here a few months ago and was not that into it but this visit made up for it! We ate lunch here for the first time. The service was friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The food was just average. They seem to still be recovering from the strain put on all businesses from Covid and they are understaffed. Signs were posted looking for additional help. There were plenty of customers so I'm sure the business will recover quickly. We ordered a BLT and pesto pasta. I'm pretty sure I can make a better BLT at home. Flies, flies, flies. The food was good but I was disgusted by the flies that call this restaurant home!! This was not a enjoyable or relaxing experience. Be ready to eat with a fork in one hand and the other hand ready to protect your food. It says something when the bus boy is walking around with a fly swatter. I have given this restaurant "1" star, it would be "0" stars if I could choose that. Five of us went for lunch on June 16, 2020. When we were seated inside (outside temp was 93 degrees) we noticed the person seating us didn't have a mask on. The waitress for our table then came by and also didn't have a mask on. We then looked around the restaurant, NO employees including the kitchen staff were wearing any Covid 19 required safety items. Also, no diners were wearing any masks. We all immediately got up and left. I know that wearing masks has become very political (but come on now!!!!), if you have a restaurant at least follow the basic health rules. If you are concerned about Covid 19, definitely do not dine at this restaurant!!! read more

Went to restaurant on a Thursday around 2 PM in the afternoon. I would rate this my worst restaurant experience of the year to date. The staff was friendly and lacked attentiveness. -over 10 minutes for first greeting at table -over 10 minutes to receive drinks (Arnold Palmer) -11 minutes (timed) once drinks were empty to food order or refill -during this time, at least 8 employees were in uniform on the floor socializing -after we placed the food order, we got a checkin from the bartender (also our server) occasionally. The checking was a little slower than average. The restaurant was filthy. -all the booths had visible chunk a of food, dust and debris -greeter had to wipe a dirty table for us to sit (note all but a couple tables were empty and sat us at a dirty table). We had to request she wipe it 2 additional times and visible debris remained on the table. I view this as a training opportunity. She mentioned she was new. -flies swarmed us when we got our food. Made the food experience terrible. -watched the staff pick up debris off table with fingers and put it on the floor beneath booths (explains the filth outlined above) and then wipe the table Food: Food was good, not great. There were quite a few terrible experience prior to receiving food that I probably would t give a fair evaluation, but can say it was at least average. They are in their first month of opening the new place. I will try it again in a couple months to see if this is new opening growing pains. My biggest concern is that the manager was on the floor during this entire process. read more

If we go back, we won't order the chicken. I think it's important to have an unaltered breast of chicken on a chicken sandwich. Husband and I went for dinner.. about 530p this day. The wait staff was friendly, we were seated immediately. We ordered a burger and salad for me, fish and chips for him. They actually CHARGE .75 extra for a slice of cheese on a burger?? and another $2 for a salad (that was literally all lettuce and 2 tomato wedges) instead of fries. Husband was told he could substitute the usual fries and slaw for something else. He went with fries and loaded mashed potatoes. When the waitress finally brought the bill, she literally, without asking, took my husbands plate right out from under him and walked away - and he wasn't even finished! Half of the loaded potatoes were still on his plate. To add insult to injury he was charged an extra $4 for those mashed potatoes that he didn't even get to finish! One of the worst brunch experiences I have ever had this morning. There were 8 open tables yet the lobby was full of guests waiting to be sat. The hostess was communicating a 15 minute wait yet the restaurant was half empty. We order our food. 1 plate came out. The other 2 plates were a 20 minute delay. By the time we got our 2 plates, the first plate was eaten already. Also, with the restaurant half empty, mimosa buckets were being delivered to tables that ordered them yet they were out of glasses and customers had to wait to get clean glasses from the bar. It took us 30 minutes to get our checks and the waitress didn't make it right that our food came out the way that it did. We talked to a manager and his response was giving out 1 free beer coupon to the whole table, even though there was 3 of us. The customer service there needs a drastic improvement. read more

Arrived and was told it would be another 15 minutes as the food hadn't been "fired through". Came back in 15 minutes and waited another 10 minutes. Got my food and half of the order was wrong.
