Daughter moved into the neighborhood and we ordered pizza for the movers. Primo's is super convenient m, right off from Adam's with ample parking. It's take away only and as a bonus, they have a nice selection of beer, wine and spirits! We order the pizza and it was ready in 20 minutes. The guys behind the counter were very nice and welcomed us to the neighborhood and handed us a menu for the house. The pizza counter is small, but there is plenty of room to queue plus they several rows of wine and liquor to meet all of your needs! We order breadsticks, a margarita and a Primo's special. Ordered a pizza today and was told over the phone it would be a 40 minute wait for a carry out order. When I got up to the store had to wait another 40 minutes in line. When I got up to the register after they had me pay they then told me my pizza wasn't ready and I had to continue to wait but as soon as it came out they would give it to me. After waiting another 10 minutes they started giving pizzas to people who were waiting after me for their food. When I went up to the counter and asked for a refund my pizza was magically ready they just put it up on top and we're taking care of customers how they felt like it and not in order. Normally I excuse places that are short staffed, this place was overstaffed there was an elderly man just kind of wandering around in the back wearing a Primos pizza polo shirt. This place has been in business long enough that they should know there should be some type of order to how you get your orders out to customers. The one star is for the lousy unapologetic slow service. I'd give the pizza about three out of five stars it was good but definitely not worth the wait and the poor service. . read more

What has happened since you reopened? Have been twice since it opened after the fire, and it's been a disaster both times. Same situation both times - ordered over the phone, given a time of 45 minutes. I showed up at 45 minutes, and walked in to find the line about 15-20 people deep, wrapped around the entire store - without signage or people telling you where to stand, it was extremely chaotic. Once I got to the front to pay and pickup, they told me they're just now putting in the pizza. So I waited another 15. The parking lot was a total zoo, no spots and was backed up onto Adams road. The kicker on this was, although the pizza and salad were good, the garlic bread was stale and dry. It tasted like it was reheated from the previous night. I'm just genuinely confused because these are things you expect from a brand new restaurant, but this place has been around forever - You didn't have these issues before the fire. read more

My husband went here a while back, it's actually his favorite pizza in the area. He always loves and gets a large round Hawaiian pizza with chicken, jalapeño and pineapples at their BHam location. I even donated to their go fund me when they had the fire. So disappointed to see the direction they have taken since reopening. This is probably the 3rd disappointing pizza in the last couple months. This time my wife, in a hurry to get to an event, stopped to pick up a couple pizzas and looked at them before leaving. For the smalll square with ham and onion, she pointed out that there was a noticable lack of cheese on the pizza. She was told by the manager that, it looked fine to him and " maybe some of the cheese came off" when he cut it. Really? That's unreal. For real, at least 2 pieces had no cheese to speak of. As for the other toppings, also pretty slim. Lately the square pizza is extra doughy and fluffy as was the case today. Mistakes happen. It's no big deal but to really look at a customer and tell them what you clearly know is not true is not good. The picture speaks for itself. I'm updating my review from a 1 star to a 3 star. The staff are still rude and they still won't take coupons off your phone, have to print them. It's been about a year since I made the 40min drive to Primo's to pick up a pizza. Ordered a thin crust xl with pep an extra sauce. I was surprised that they actually put some pepperonis on my pizza this time and actually gave me some sauce instead of a dry pizza. It was almost like the Primo's I remembered as a kid growing up. I ate the entire thing that night. It was so good I decided to bump their stars some. Now, did I catch a lucky break this time or can they make me a proper pizza if I order it again? Who knows... I will see the next time I order one. I do t mind paying their exorbitant prices and even dealing with the rude staff, as long as the product is great I will put up with it. Not like I'm eating the pizza inside their party store.. By far my favorite pizza in the Detroit metro area. Great little shop that also has beer and wine. The salads are great and it is a family owned business. I was sad when the place caught fire during COVID but they rebuilt and the new interior is super fresh and clean. This is a local pizza place for me, almost in our neighborhood. They were closed for a very long time due to a fire. There is a steady flow of people so quoting times have gotten a bit worse than I remember, 15-30 mins was the latest quote. The pizza came out at about 32 mins. I ordered the square pizza (deep dish style). I thought it was good, but I remember it being not as burnt. I noticed a lot of the pizzas coming out overcooked. I am going to chock it off to that they were maybe overwhelmed? I've been here many times before the fire. I will continue to do so. Hopefully the burnt pizza situation will resolve. read more

Walking into Primo's they really have it all. Wine, beer, booze, and snacks plus their own pizza and wing favorites to choose from. We got a medium pizza and cheesy bread sticks for about $24. Plenty of delicious pepperoni with flavorful sauce and easy to chew crust. The cheesy bread had two types of cheese and were baked to a deep dish style. Jam packed with flavor and bread. The ranch was ok, it's the thicker creamier kind but was still satisfying. Worth picking up and going to get, if I'm back in town I plan to go again! read more

I am very disappointed in this place, my family and I order from Primos at least once a week. I placed an order over the phone asked for VERY VERY VERY LIGHT cheese. I also ordered a small order of 'GARLIC BREAD'. When I reached my destination I went inside primos and ordered the exact same pizza again because a large wasn't enough thinking that it would also be VERY VERY, VERY LIGHT CHEESE. Apparently they have garlic bread sticks and garlic cheese bread. I specifically said a small order of GARLIC BREAD only!! If I was the person behind the phone taking the order I would say 'Well we have garlic cheese bread or garlic bread sticks' I told them that if someone is saying GARLIC BREAD AND LEAVING OUT THE CHEESE don't you think that I'm implying I want the garlic bread sticks? Unfortunately, when I got back home, we noticed that both pizzas had an overload of cheese on them and the bread was cheese not garlic. I don't think that I should have to check my order but unfortunately i don't even think it would have made any difference since it had been already made. Upon arrival to return the pizza a gentleman at the front counter who also made the pizza said to me 'It says light sauce not light cheese, and What am I going to do with $54 worth of pizza?' In which I replied, 'What am I going to do with it? No one will eat this! That was the most rudest comment I had ever heard. They did not apologize or even think to accommodate me to make another order instead he opened up the cash register and refunded me my money which I never once asked for. Very unfortunate for the years me and my family have been going there that this was the result of not accommodating a loyal customer.
