Haven't gotten my nails done for almost half a year and decided to get acrylics again just cause the new year new me vibe. I usually go to the downstairs one but they had such a long line I came to the upstairs one. The lady who did my nails was pretty fast at applying the nails and doing the powder thing but when she got to the gel polish part I think that's when I started to get a little upset. The color turned out fine but there were air bubbles between the 2 layers of polish and I didn't notice until I left. And it wasn't just on one nail it was on 4 out of 10 nails that ended up peeling off after 5hrs of getting them done. I don't know how that happened but I know it's Not supposed to be like that. I called to get it fixed and was told I can go any time to get it fixed, went and was told I had to come another day cause she was busy and has other people waiting in line. I recently went in for simple french tip acrylics with brown as my tip color instead of white. To start off I asked her to cut them short. She proceeded to cut them but left them long. When I asked her to cut them shorter she gave me an attitude. When it came to start painting the nails she brought me one dark red and a burgundy with shimmer. When I reminded her that I wanted brown and not red she said "red is better" even though it wasn't what I asked for. I finally got up to pick a color on my own. When making the final touches and cleaning up around the nail she cut me and proceeded to wipe the blood off with alcohol with no warning. Not to mention she didn't prep the cuticle before starting the manicure at all. Definitely the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. Final shape and look of the nails was terrible and started chipping the same night I got home. I will NOT be returning. And I definitely do not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

Honestly y'all, this place may have bad reviews but I came in for a full set of holographic nails last night and they did a perfect job. First of all, I called like six other salons and none of them had holographic or chrome options. I was kinda frustrated but I walked into perfect fingers just out of curiosity and they had a bunch of different colors and styles to choose from and seated me right away! I've been to salons with four star ratings here in San Francisco that could not compete with Ivonne. The shape, color and style are perfect and it was only $60 for a full acrylic set with holographic gel (usually $75-80 anywhere else). I'm very happy with my experience read more

To be honest, i come here for the convenience. Also, it is right next to Regis where i get my hair done and Hollywood Eyebrow where i get my eyebrows threaded too so i'm really just lazy as Sh*t. I have no shame. I usually come every other week for a new set or a fill. Love the colors they have for gel and i never leave with my nails less than perfect. (I tip pretty well, too.) Sorry for the folks who have left here with bad experiences. Can't say the establishment is clean as they should be. I've definitely been to high end nail salons with floors so clean you can eat off of. At the end of the day you cant expect much from something inside a mall. $35 for a full set with regular polish, $10 more if you want gel/shellac. read more

I don't get the bad reviews for this place. Maybe they're all old. My last two visits were some of the best mani/pedi's of my life. I'm really prone to ingrown, and not only does this place not hurt me and give them to me, they are great at prevention. Super comfortable when things grow out. Everyone is super nice, I've never had to wait. Great job on polish that lasts. I've never gotten artificial nails here, but what I see walking out in other customers looks cute. They also autoclave their tools and I feel comfortable with their infection control. Prices seem comparable to other salons in the area. read more

My friend and I planned a spontaneous shopping trip together and she wanted to get her nails done. She wanted me to get my nails done as well so I wouldn't have to wait around for her to finish and I agreed to since it's been at least 2 years since I've gotten my nails done. Arriving to the store in Stonestown, it was pretty busy at the time, but they still sat us down within the first 5-10 minutes after telling the nail technicians what we wanted. One of the ladies said that my friend and I would be able to sit next to each other, but we sat at different rows due to the availability of technicians at the time. I didn't mind, but meh. Anyways, I told the technician that I wanted almond nails and she agreed to do them. She first matched the fake nails to my real nails, then later applied pink acrylic to the top so that she could put the gel polish color that I wanted. Originally, I just wanted regular nail polish, but she insisted I get gel polish since it lasts a bit longer. I found this color that I really liked, which is a grayish taupe color. While she was filing down my nails, I think she forgot that I wanted almond nails and she just gave me stiletto nails. At first, I didn't notice but when I started to look at my nails, they looked like claws. There's only 1 out of 10 fingers that look like an almond shape.. Everything else just looks like a stiletto. Later on when it was time to put some some oil on my nails, she accidentally dropped the nail polish top onto the ground and proceeded to put the nail polish together and put it away. I think she should have at least washed it off before putting the top back on. That's unsanitary. So after I was finished getting my nails done, the total came out to be $45 + $5-6 tip. I felt like they rushed my nails because 1. the nail polish was not even on some of my nails, 2. the nail technician didn't even paint some of the sides of my nails, 3. THERE'S A PIECE OF BLACK FUZZ ENCAPSULATED WITHIN MY NAIL. The nail technician was nice, but I don't think I'll be coming back here to get my nails done. read more

Went there for a French manicure. On sign it says 25 Dollars. I said I want a FRENCH MANICURE. I never had ome before. At the end I was charged 40 dollars. Bellow a star, if you want to get long acrylic nails run so far from this place. they can't shape them right at all and loaded up acrylic on the nail it looked like i had batteries on top. I had to ask them to file 3 times to get the shape you can see in the pictures. i asked for a french tip and the lines were so uneven and they stained my nails light pink with the top coat. I ended up bleeding because they put so much acrylic that it got all over my fingers and they peeled it off which cut open my skin. Don't even get my started with the french tip they did on my toes it was just a crooked thin line. I forget the name of the lady that did my fingers but it started with an S. I'm utterly pissed and disappointed. I went into this salon for a fill in. Let me start by saying my previous nails only had design. I could see my nails before they touch them everything was fine. I'm very particular about my shape so I'm always looking at my nails during the process. I had a lime green polish at the end of this appointment. Well I had my nails on for about two weeks. My thumb lifted so I took it off only to discover a green tint to my own nail. I'm concerned at this point. So I start looking at my other nails and I could tell they was at least two other nails with a problem. I took two of them off to find my nail was BLACK and GREEN. I was mortified. I called the salon they asked me to come in. The artist all of a sudden don't know me. She didn't do my nails. Pissed me off. The guy at the counter recommended me taking my nails off. I did. I have four nails with fungus. They drilled my nails all the way down to try to buff the fungus off my nails. To the point where it hurt and I jerked my hand from the tech. I moved to San Francisco last year for my college studies and have been going to Perfect Fingers for acrylic full sets, gel manicures and pedicures. They have done amazing nails for me. I believe that they give affordable prices and a variety of colors/designs to choose from. I usually get assigned with Judy or Tina, which both give excellent service. I don't ask for them (which you can) I just get assigned to them mostly. Honestly, I don't know why people on yelp are harsh with this salon, I gave it a try and always got great nails. I guess it's a good thing I brought my own O.P.I. and Seche Vite. 4) Poor piss job: Nails were filed unevenly; some short and some long. Polish was sloppy applied with some left on the skin. Horrid. I came here after my lab ended at SF State and didn't want to sit through traffic. The lady I got, I don't remember her name, but she was horrible. I sat next to someone who started before me and finished before she did. My cuticles grew out ugly and I felt like she just slapped the gel polish on. It's already peeling after 2 days. One completely peeled off. Also, I went through 3 colors they didn't have so I ended up choosing between two alternatives they gave. Also I came and showed her a design which she "forgot" to do. Also, this place will NOT help you soften up your cuticles before cutting them. They just cut them straight off your nails and then use a brush to brush off the excess. My nails look worse than Medusa's and it is nowhere near cute ... why are you guys still open?!?!?!! I paid $60 for this in total and there is no way I am ever going back ... GIRLS! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! DO NOT COME HERE! Don't make the same mistake I did ... save yourself half that amount by going to another nail salon that does the job right. I came in out of desperation because I usually go to a salon in San Mateo but wasn't able to get there any time soon. This place deserves one star only because I made an appointment the day before and they were able to honor that time when I came in. I don't know who was doing my nails, a middle aged woman with short black hair is the best I can describe her. While doing my nails she kept talking smack about the salon I usually go to. And that's fine, people who work in nail salons usually always have something bad to say about other salons the person went to. But she just kept going and going, "the place you went to did a very bad job" "the salon you went to did this bad and did that bad" "you must have went to a very cheap salon". I was ignoring her comments because I just needed my nails done so I can leave. Towards the end, she touches my arm with her finger and says "oh why your skin so white? You don't get outside much do you?" I didn't even dignify that with a response. As far as my nails, I'll deal with them for the next few weeks, but she didn't listen to me when I asked for a specific length and shape. She cut them too short and instead of coffin shape made them too square. When it was time to pay she tried to charge me $10 more thinking I didn't know the prices, when I pointed it out to her she tried to play dumb and say she's giving me a discount and charged me "less" (the amount I was supposed to pay). I wish I could give no stars, because this was by far the worst nail service I have EVER experience. First off, the lady who started my nail was explaining to me that who did my pervious nail didn't do a good job, no shit which is why I'm at your shop. Second, this lady cuts nearly all my fingers!
