I scheduled an appointment with the owner, but when I came in to visit the salon, I was shocked to learn that my simple hair trim would cost $55. It's been about a year since since I got my last haircut mostly since I moved from NorCal. Had a really hard time looking for a hairdresser especially since everyone I asked seem to have someone they grew up with cutting their hair and all the salons charges like $80 plus. (the 1st picture is what I wanted vs. what I got lmaooooo) Sooo, a couple weeks ago I went in to get my hair styled for a wedding. I had sent pictures of the type of hair style I wanted to see if she'd be able to do it. I wanted a soft updo. I loved the way she started off. My hair was nicely curled. I was convinced I could trust her with my hair. Plus, she has such good reviews on yelp. As she continued pinning my hair up, she suggested doing a pony tail type style instead of a bun. I asked, if she had a picture, but she said she doesn't take pictures of her updos. She was saying that it's trending and in style. It sounded cute, and sold me on it. I told her "I trust you. Go for it." Once she was done she showed me the back of my hair and I was in shock! My hair looked TERRIBLE. I did not have the heart to tell her I didn't like it, which was my fault. She also had another client waiting outside to be seen right after me. Obviously she wouldn't have been able to fix it. Took Tracey about an hr to do my hair. Went in at 8am and was done by 9 am. I like her as a person, but as a special event hair stylist.. I'd say she needs more work on updos from my experience. Thank God my sister was able to fix my hair into a cute updo.
