But I know the restaurant is to blame for my dry, cold chicken wings (made worse due to missing sauces). Peri fries were barely seasoned. They couldn't even be bothered to send the correct soda. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap with avocado and garlic and herb sauce. I also had the fries that has a crunchy coating that makes them super crisp and yummy. Peri Peri Grill House is like Nando's, but so much better. I got the quarter chicken with "Hot" sauce and peri peri fries. The chicken was so tender, I wonder if they sous vide it before grilling. The "Hot" sauce is spicy, but it has a lot of great flavor, and I couldn't stop pouring more on my chicken. The fries are perfect - golden brown and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. There are so many restaurants that cannot get french fries right, but this place definitely does, and the peri peri seasoning makes them extra tasty. My favorite sauces are the lemon garlic and the mild sauce! Ask for a side of your favorite sauce as it makes a yummy dip for the fries, skip traditional ketchup please! We had the Peri Peri Chicken Wings Half Hot and Half Garlic and Herb. The food was beyond good. I have been to Nandos in London and Dubai but these wings were better than both. The chicken is not flavored properly like peri peri chicken should be it's hard and not tender as well, also peri peri rice is soggy and doesn't have proper flavor . Peri Peri is a no-frills chicken spot on Malcolm X Blvd. There are a few tables inside for dining in but it seems they do most of their business with delivery/take out. The chicken is well seasoned and you have the option of adding different sauces and spice levels. My favorite thing to order is the wings--you get six glorious, juicy, seasoned pieces that always hit the spot. I like to pair them with a side of the Peri Peri rice, which is fragrant and never dry (I need this rice recipes, please and thanks). I've also enjoyed the chicken burger, which is just a sandwich but comes with a generous portion of chicken, and the straight up 1/4 piece when wings won't cut it. I love that you can order to go and bring it across the street to Turtles All The Way Down, and the service is very friendly and fast. I always see a diverse mix of people and families eating here. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. I order the Peri Peri Wings and Chicken Fillet quite often. Extra spicy is the way to go for me (with coleslaw or corn on the side). I love this place! It's right across the street from my house. I've had the lamb chops, the fries a million times, the chicken burger, the chicken wrap, the salad with chicken and their milkshakes. Everything is delicious I probably eat from them once a week. Let me tell you, those peri peri FRIES are to die for!! They're always fresh, hot and crispy and the seasoning is amazing!! The lambchops are very expensive ($18 for 4 small pieces) but when I tell you they are always so juicy and tender and seasoned to perfection.
