Nicely decorated corporate restaurant that's well kept. Hostess promptly greeted us and seated us in a nice part of the dining room. My wife ordered the 55+ fish and chips, the side salad that came with it was well presented with the dressing on the side. I ordered the pot roast melt with tater tots. Our meals arrived promptly with absolutely no garnish, not even a lettuce leaf under the fish or a pickle. That being said the food tasted great until I bit into my sandwich and got a mouthful of disgusting fat, luckily I was about finished eating. I just had my first five-star experience here. This time, while enjoying the AYCE Friday Fish Fry, when I asked for extra Coleslaw whether I had to pay for it or not, Diane and I were told that the meal is All You Can Eat of everything served--not just Cod filets. So, we received more French Fries and Coleslaw besides Cod filets, without extra charge. Before we were through, I polished off eight Cod filets, and Diane six. Even though it was Memorial Day and a bit busy, we were seated fairly quickly with our order being taken in a timely manner. Our waitress seemed very overwhelmed, never refilling our water or asking if we wanted the pie slices to go. The food was kind of bland, nothing exciting. The cleanliness was mediocre; we had eyelashes on our table and saw the person cleaning tables shaking the rag or cloth between an empty table and a table of four. Went in for a late lunch my wife ordered the new salmon dinner. It didn't look like the picture on the menu. She ordered it with mash potatoes with gravy on the side & the Fresh green beans with almonds. The beans were from a can with No almonds and the side of gravy was cold.
