Theresa was our server she is pleasant and Friendly, we were here about 4 years ago and did not leave a great review. On a wim as we were riding by we pulled in for brunch. Seated quickly we received a steaming pot of hot Coffee I ordered a skillet Breakfast and my wife had an omelette with pancakes my skillet was full of bacon, Ham and cheese over crunchy potato tots topped with sausage gravy. It was served hot and was delicious. A quick trip to the men's restroom was a pleasant surprise! Clean and pleasant smelling. Our first Perkins experience was in 2005 (Moses Lake, Oregon), and it was positive. When we moved to Cape Coral, Perkins was our first restaurant. The pot pie was hubby's fave, and mine was a chicken on pilaf rice dish--they do not have either anymore. It seemed to slowly go downhill over the years, where the food was very inconsistent (although the service has always been good).. For a while we stayed away, but now their food is great like before! We order online for pickup. Our new faves are the pork chops and roast turkey. Salads are delish, too. Ignore the older reviews and look at the newer ones! read more

The food was good and the place was clean, however our waitress was not as welcoming. Our cups were dirty and she gave us our bill shortly after we started eating. We didn't ask for it... my egg whites tasted sweet too. I wasn't too happy with that. I took a bite and left it alone. I did inform the lady up front about them and that's when she noticed our waitress gave us the wrong ticket. I would've paid for someone else's meal. This is our go to breakfast place. Food is great, service is spectacular and you cannot beat the price. All of the other places in the area are sky high when your presented with the bill. I want to say "It's an omelet not a car"! We went this week on a Monday so both of us brought home a free slice of pie. Nice and yesterday I signed up for fringe benefits. I ordered beef tips,medium rare of course, shrimp, spinach & green beans. WOW this meal was great...Medium rare, fresh veggies and hot shrimp good cocktail sauce. My server was excellent. Perkins is my childhood. I open WAZE, about to start my journey south from VA to FL like I do several times a year, but the 1st time is always the most special. The internal compass in my head leading me to this crown jewel of breakfasts innately needs no map. The 8 hours and 13 minutes to Savannah Perkins flies, fueled by memories of my childhood on a plate that is the Tremendous Twelve at Perkins in Western NY in the 80's. The golden pancakes so perfect, tiny batter air bubbles seared in their places throughout each circular slice of heaven elevate the taste to another silky spongy stratosphere of goodness, melting in your mouth before you have a chance to fully chew. Savoring each bite, knowing the next bite awaits, but the last bite is bittersweet. When your heart says yes but your stomach says uncle. The next 4 hours drive to my seasonal destination continues with a smile on my face, a satisfaction that I just had the best pancakes and crispy bacon on Earth, and yet, it's not over. I glance at my gallon freezer bag and special cooler, just for a separate stack of pancakes to go, eyes misty with disbelief I'm actually experiencing this right now. Thank you Perkins. So we were going to eat here at night time but when we went inside, there were no employees at all in the front of the restaurant to greet us. After a few minutes of waiting we saw one waitress walking by to take care of some other customer. And she never said anything to us or that someone would be with us shortly. So after about 10 minutes of waiting in the front near the menu stand. We decided to leave. I don't think we'll be going to this Perkins again in the future. The thing I have to say about Perkins is they have potato pancakes and it is the one place that my Aunt always wants to go and eat what she considers fabulous potato pancakes. The last time we went the waitress was very nice but you can tell that if there is a rush in customers they are not staffed well enough. Despite that whoever was the on duty manager was helping out so that no one waited for their meals. He told me most of their food is going take-out even though people can come in and sit down. My aunt, once again loved her food and so I am very happy to take her there whenever she likes. The atmosphere is similar to most or all the other standard chain breakfast spots. I like the fact that they still serve pie cause so many other places don't serve pie anymore. So if you are in the mood for pie or potato pancakes this is the place to go. And, you know it is always going to be the same unless of course they change their recipes. read more

Have had a prayer group weekly, with a breakfast meeting here for a couple of months. While checking out on Monday,2/6/23, I noticed the charge receipt wasn't mine. I inquired with the cashier and she said she voided it and proceeded to cash me out. Checking my credit card the next day, I noticed two charges for Perkins and only one was mine. I called and spoke to a Toni, a manager, who informed me that mostly likely the charge would, " fall off", it did not. The next day, the charge was no longer "pending", but was on my card. I called again and was told by Toni, she would look into it and call me back. She did not. I called again on Thursday and spoke to Stephanie, who assured me she would call back "shortly". She did not. I called on Friday, 2/10/23, and was given a story that the manager wasn't in, blah, blah. I charged it back through my credit card company. Today, 8 days later, I got a call back from Toni saying she processed a credit to my card. It's not there! Only my charge back is on my card! No credit exists from Perkins, only the charge back. What was an innocent mistake, I'm sure, has cost them regular customers. Horrible handling. One of the ladies in my group called on Friday as well. She was asked what the call was in regards to! She shared my story and instead of putting her on HOLD, the person who answered shouted, "Stephanie, it's that lady again!" Some serious customer service training needs to be given to their staff. read more

Had the best pancakes of my life yesterday. Fluffy and hot. Plus the service from Marian was tops. Kudos to Perkins.

We arrived around 1:00 pm I think and it took a little over ten minutes to get drinks. When we ordered our drinks, the server also wanted to take our food order, as if we were being rushed. Nice lady and everything. it looked like they gave this server two 8-tops, three 4-tops, and our 3-top. I didn't see the manager, or the two other servers helping our server, even though it was obvious she was in the weeds. Our cheese sticks came out to our table a little underdone, warm in the middle. Service was great. However it had been raining, and someone decided to bring their dog along (not a service animal). So immediately upon entering the restaurant the smell of wet dog was in the air. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a perkins. I was seated and brought a water, 10 minutes go by and people that came in after me were waited on and put orders in. The people next to me said they waited a long time and they were waiting for their food for over 10 minutes. The store was not busy at all. Got to the restaurant approximately 6:30p.m. There was four of us. Restaurant practically empty. Waited 45 minutes for our food. Burger with fries, turkey platter, fish with rice and veggies, eggs with pancakes and bacon. Not rocket science. Asparagus was burned with the turkey platter and fish meal. Fish didn't have any rice. Absolutely yummy. Our waitress Kera was so kind and quick to seat us and give us our food. She was totally on top of us and her area. Delicious food as well. Perfectly cooked eggs and other food that was ordered. Overall it was clear that whoever was running this place knew what they were doing. Came in on a Sunday morning after trying to go to other places and was seated almost immediately. I'll definitely be recommending and coming back. Well done read more
