Great place to grab breakfast. Good was good and coffee was hot. Our server was Janice and she was very professional and nice. The place was very crowded today and you could hear some of the kitchen workers using the f word a few times and throwing around some bussing containers when we visited around 11:30 AM today. We stopped here for a late breakfast on a Sunday. We waited about 15 minutes for a table/booth for three. Tables outside however it was vey cold that day. 37' It was very clean. Our waiter was attentive and kept the coffee coming. There is a mix of tables and booths. Omelets, pancakes, waffles, etc. In my opinion the pancakes are a little too thick causing them to be on the doughy side. They are the size of a dinner plate do order accordingly. Lady waiting on us didn't know the menu she told us we had to create our own Omlet just to change the cheese and the last visit that wasn't the case. She never came to ask how our food was after delivery. She never came by to check on our coffee refills I had to flag down to other waitresses. I love Keke's , I've been to locations in Orlando, Tampa and Boca Raton Florida. While visiting family in the Cape Coral area I came across this location so it was a no brainer for me. We were sat within 10 mins. I love the build your own combo that allows you to choose a little bit of everything. I had the pancake , breakfast potatoes , scrambled eggs and sausage links which were all delicious and on par with what I've come to expect from Keke's. Everything was just mediocre; I wasn't impressed but, I also wasn't disappointed. I wish I would've taken a pic but I had the sandwich with the pecans in it and my choice of grilled or fried chicken. I def should've done fried chicken, but I did grilled ugh. So, all I would say is that the wrap I had would have been so much better if the pecans were candied. Like a million times better. They didn't really add to the wrap at all since they were just plain. The pecans fell out and the honey mustard kind of dripped out cus it was so thin, plus the grilled chicken was overdone and dry so it was real stringy and pokey where the grill marks were. It's been a really long time since I went to KeKe's and David had never been there. It's always crowded , but today we had only a 10 minute wait. It's located in the shopping center next to Aldi's on Pine Island Road so the parking lot is very busy. We got there around lunchtime, but that didn't stop me from ordering breakfast lol! David too! Our waitress Rhonda was just so wonderful and attentive. She brought us our coffee immediately. Their mugs are almost square! I ordered the bacon, cheddar, tomato omelet, served with homemade home fries. I opted for the fresh fruit with an up charge instead of bread. It was a truly lovely presented bowl. David has the blueberry stuffed French toast, full of blueberries and cream cheese. Definitely not for me who is a savory person lol! Rhonda asked us how our food was and of course Dave had something to say- He thought his French toast could of been a little warmer. Since everything is made fresh, they don't even have a microwave! I of course, had no complaints. My omelet was delish and well done the way I like it. The manager walked by and Dave commended him on how well run the place is. Stopped in for Brunch I have not enjoyed Pancakes in a while so I ordered walnut Banana pancakes our server Sandy cautioned that they were served in threes! Upon Arrival they were enormous! And looked wonderful! 3 things about this place: 1. My sister told me about this place and how good it was so we decided to try this spot since they have another location in Ft. Myers now too. The place was super clean and the staff was extremely friendly. 2. My sister created her own omelet and got the veggie one and I got the Eggs Benedict. Both of the foods came out hot and the quality of the ingredients were so fresh, which you can tell. The cheese from the omelet kept pulling until the omelet was done and the eggs from the Benedict came out perfect. Bacon was cooked perfectly and super crispy. 3. Big shoutout to our waitress, Sarah E.! She was phenomenal. She brought us our drinks and refilled them before the drinks were gone. Before and when the foods came out, she brought us everything that we needed including napkins without asking. She came and checked on us constantly to see if we needed anything else. When the check came, she asked if we wanted our drinks to go and that was very nice of her to ask. It was a medium sized drink that you would get at fast food places. I don't know why there are so many positive comments about this place I literally ordered food here for the second time today to give them another chance and I kid you not all of my food was cold and dried out, my turkey sausage inside of my omelette wasn't even cooked all of the way so I literally couldn't even eat any of the food it just wasn't enjoyable at all. It's really a shame how everything is so overpriced at their restaurant and nothing is even at least enjoyable.
