Barely cooked bacon

I've been trapped in the house for 2 weeks after knee surgery, so my mother decided to take me to Perkins to get me out. First we stood at the hosted stand for at least 10 minutes waiting for someone to greet us. Mom has to go search the restaurant for the hostess. Based on appearances, pretty sure the hostess is a crack head. The. We get to the table and order. We ordered 1 club sandwich with fries to share. It took more than an hour to get that. When my mom asked how much longer it would be for a single sandwich we got that the kitchen got busy. Not an answer. This was an hour in. Based on the fact that the waitress hadn't brought out any food to any tables in our section for at least 30 minutes, ALL the tables I could see were at the end of their meals or leaving, and the fact that food came 12 min later, I have determined that the waitress forgot to enter the order and because she hadn't checked on us since bringing sodas out she didn't realize it. Then the sandwich itself was dry, had next to no mayo on it, and the bacon was barely cooked. It took about an hour and 15 min to get a single unremarkable sandwich, but the check came literally 3 minutes after the food. All in all, one of the 40 people dining there over the age of 80 would have taken better care of us and served us faster than our 30 something year old waitress. Save yourself and just go to the Taco Bell across the street!!!!

Yet another run of the mill breakfast spot that serves low effort food at all times of the day. Friendly service and rows of enticing pies greet everyone when entering. The food we order took a bit long to come out but tasted delicious. Nothing fancy or special but I left full. A decent price for the amount of food we got

Wasn't impressed with the food. I think they called it bacon, two pieces of it on our plate. Our plate of food looked absolutely nothing like the picture on the menu. COVID-19 has changed every thing. Every other table can be seated, do you want coffee with cream and sugar, You have to order it that way, coffee with cream and sugar. The day of condiments on the table has long gone. You need to ask for salt, pepper, a sweater, ketchup, hot sauce, extra napkin, syrup, jelly. Ashlyn was nice, we tipped her 40% not that she deserved it but we know that she is probably struggling to pay her rent, business is down. I WOULD'NT go back.

Free pie Monday. It's our lucky day Mark our waiter was amazing. Felt like he knew us forever. Our food was fresh and hot. Our pie choices, strawberry and coconut were good.

Lunchtime during Frontier days can always be a hit or miss situation., unfortunately, I will say this time was a miss for me. Our lunches all included a slice of complimentary pie, so I thought this was gonna be an automatic great lunch, wrong. Our server was not very attentive though her section was not very busy. Many times did we have to ask for re-fills on drinks and those were usually wrong, we had to remind her what we actually ordered then when we did get our food, our meals were just average at best. The only saving grace was the free pie but even the pie was just mediocre. Maybe next time I visit, I'll be sure to come at a time other than Frontier days, Aloha

If I owned the place the only thing I would change is not having my servers walk constant laps around the tables. I understand the concept but the restaurant isn't that large and it's a little distracting with a server walking circles around you. But it must work for the place because they have a lot of loyal customers to include me now.

Great burger, fries and shakes for dinner!!…read more - - - - - - - - June, 2026 Visit We found 2 Doors Down in Yelp... we were running late for an event and needed food asap; we called to confirm how to get to 2 Doors Down and the gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful... within a couple minutes we were inside ordering. And, oh the food was soooooo good! The staff greets you and helps get you focused on the order. You order and pay and they bring the food to your table. We recommend the "surf and turf" combo we pulled together: - California burger, with avocado and more on top - Tuna burger, atop lettuce and tomatoes with special aioli sauce - and a strawberry shake with whipped cream and real berries Wow what a dinner! Tasted great. Filled us up! Got us to our event on time. We look forward to returning to Cheyenne and visiting with more time to not rush out visit. Thank you, 2 Doors Down!! ----- ----- -----

My second time here, and it's continuing to impress!…read more My husband ordered the Cowboy Grilled Cheese, which he LOVED. When I tasted it, I found it quite straight-forward and satisfying. Warm pulled pork and melted cheddar inside a perfectly buttered and pan-toasted envelope of thick-cut white bread. The real star was the bread: impossibly light and airy. Yum :) I ordered the Chicken with Kale Pesto Sandwich and specially requested it on a croissant bun. Wow. The grilled chicken breast was absolutely moist and juicy! The bacon was thick, the pesto fresh, and the croissant bun the perfect combination of crispy, chewy, and buttery. Since I'm a saucy sandwich kind of girl, I ordered extra mayo and hot sauce on the side, which I mixed together to slather on each bite separately. And yes, it was GOOD. The Padre's Hot Sauce, apparently made by a local man (whose daughter happened to be our server today), was a revelation. Both the mild "Yellow Jacket" and hot "Bodacious" are made through a lacto-fermentation process that results in a luscious, complex chili flavor without the harsh vinegar edge that you get with most hot sauces. My hat's off to Mr. Padre for your delicious and painstakingly created hot sauce and to Paris West for featuring this superior, locally-produced artisanal product! I'm actually grateful that their espresso machine was on the fritz today, because I would not have otherwise tried their drip coffee, which was a special edition small batch dark roast, whose name escapes me. It was fantastic. And we culminated our meal with dessert: carrot cake for my hubby and Orange & Sugar crêpes for me. I found the carrot cake unpleasantly cold, dense, and barely carroty, topped with uninspiring cream cheese frosting and untoasted pecans - pass. The crêpes, on the other hand, were wonderful. Perfectly thin, uniform, and tender. With a thin brushing of orange marmalade inside and, be still my heart, a syrup-poached orange slice garnishing each folded pancake. I think a nice dollop of homemade whipped cream would've sent this dish over the top, but then I can be an over-the-top sort of person, so maybe don't listen to me :) Long story short, it was a fantastic mid-week brunch, and we will be back soon! I hope you'll join us :)

However, the place smells like mildew immediately when you walk in, we were sat at a table with a gross, matted, dirty mustard colored sofa, and the glass plates showed every fingerprint. I ordered breakfast and asked for hot chocolate. It was warm, brown water. Again, waiter was awesome, but the rest of the place just wasn't.

Overly lit and chairs are too short. Our table had two bars in the way of our feet so they had to go on top of it. Kind of awkward.
