I tried the kickin chicken with fries. The bun was lightly toasted had to cut in half to make it manageable to eat. I was expecting a little kick but instead i got a chicken sandwich with a little flavor. It was hot and fresh. The fries tasted fresh. read more

What impressed us the most was the fact she did so well and our table had 18 people! In addition the food came out quick (same as a normal size table). Stopped in for lunch in between meetings in Cheyenne. Greeted and seated promptly. My server stopped by quickly to get my drink order and was very friendly. We waited for 30 minutes for our meal. Meanwhile all the parties around us we're receiving their meals, but we weren't. the waitress finally comes over sits down at the table and says okay I lost your ticket can you tell me what you guys had ordered? At that time I told her never mind we're leaving. She then announces to everyone in the restaurant "you're leaving well okay" as if though she was excited that we were leaving. I realize the restaurant was very busy, however, there's no excuse for her not having our order ticket, not checking to see if order was put in and not checking to see why our meal was taking so long. The 5 top sitting behind us came in much later than we did and they received their meals. At that point the waitress should have realized something wasn't right. The food was great from what I ate of it. I did find a black hair in both my pancakes and sausage. I had to wait for probably 20-25 minutes to even see the waitress again. She was very nice and took them back and gave me burnt toast. They took my whole meal off which was nice but I'm not going to eat there again. read more

We've had a couple experiences here where the wait is really long, or it takes a while for a server to greet us, but overall it's always a nice experience. They have some good servers on staff and they're generally pretty quick about getting food out. Great place to go for breakfast; or late at night for half price apps, pie, and all you can eat pancakes. read more

Heard so many great thing about this place so I decided to try it out. It. Was. Awful. After we were seated it took about 10/15 mins to even ask what we wanted to drink than another 10 mins to bring them. And, it wasn't even busy !! Then I got the Cajun salmon, it was dry my French fries were old and my broccoli was soggy. I'm really disappointed. Oh, and my server only came by 4 times -asked us what drinks we wanted -bring our drinks and take our order -brought our food and lastlyasked if we were ready for our ticket when we weren't even half way done. Now, I am a server myself and when you only have a table or 2 it's not hard. Get it together perkins. I will not be returning. read more

The food is always decent but the service is hit or miss. Today it was a miss. I never got one refill, and we had to wait for our waitress to take our order after a table that was seated after I was even though the server knew we were ready. Wait staff is the problem, girl that brought our food dropped one of the onion rings, not a big deal, pick it up and move on right? I grew up in Cheyenne, and in the past Perkins was always a solid spot to have a decent meal. After several years away from Cheyenne I decided it was time to revisit a solid restaurant with great food and service. My oh my have times changed...The Dell Range Perkins has lost the great value, and friendly service that I had come to expect from this time-honored establishment . Not only was the grilled chicken with mushrooms and asparagus lacking any sauce to add some kind of flavor to the dried lump of fowl, but the rice was overcooked to the point of clumping together in balls of dried-out disappointment. I understand that these kinds of things happen in a restaurant setting. Not every meal is going to be a work of culinary art. So, I ate the edible parts of my meal, and informed the waitress (who was great, and performed her duties exceptionally) that she should address the cook about the meal, and ensure no other patrons would have to suffer through the same ordeal in the future. What transpired up to this point is forgivable; however, the following events delve into the realm of unacceptable. The culinary genius that is the architect of my 10$ lump of disappointment (who was apparently taking a break at a table just outside of the kitchen) was addressed by the waitress, and shown the evidence of her unsatisfactory product... And she proceeded to berate the customer who had complained. (unaware that I was able to hear every word) including phrases such as, "that's not inedible, its just over cooked" and, "just had it in the microwave too long (so that's how you cook your "fresh" meals Perkins?)." These comments to a comrade who was apparently also off duty made it clear to anyone within ear shot that she could care less about the product she delivers. This is the last time I'll be spending any money at the Dell Range Perkins establishment, and my advice to the owner... Please, please! Have a discussion with the female cook who was working on the night of 7/27/15, your prosperity depends on it. This can't have been the only occurrence of this behavior, and in all probability, won't be the last. read more

After visiting the subpar one in Loveland, I felt like I needed to give this place kudos. Every visit has been great. Fast service, good food and an excellent owner/GM. It's Perkins so the menu is the same as all the others. However, the service sets Cheyenne Perkins apart the other chain diners in town. Service is fast and friendly. If something isn't right (like cold food or burned) there isn't any attitude about replacing it or refunding. Great for groups of more than six which is common when I go there with friends. read more
