I finally tried Waffle House after hearing so much hype about it, and honestly, I just don't get it. I was excited to see what all the buzz was about, but the food fell pretty flat for me. Leila was our incredible server!! Full of energy and enthusiasm. Come to find out we lived in connecting cities in NJ! The whole crew was very nice and we shared a laugh about the bumbling Cowboys!! Amazing staff makes this location a step above other waffle houses. We like to order online for takeout as this location often has a lot of Disney guests crowding the dining area for breakfast. Paola was our server and she is very hardworking. I see her moving all throughout the restaurant and helping everyone out. She took our order and she was nice and willing to accommodate us if we wanted to sit in a booth table. The price of the food is reasonable. My fiancé and I ordered the all star special for only $13 usd. This meal includes eggs, hash brown, waffle, toasted bread with butter. You can substitute the hash brown for grits. This is the best Waffle House location I've been to! This chain is famous for seat yourself style but this location was so busy that they effectively managed the line. The servers were super nice and efficient. The waffle was fluffier than I've had in the past and the hash browns weren't overly greasy with a good ratio of toppings. Absolutely the most fun I ever had at a breakfast restaurant!! The staff were super friendly and outgoing! We were visiting from Central California and Waffle House was one of our bucket list goals for this trip. I had a waffle with pecans in it with bacon and my son had the grits bowl with bacon and over easy eggs and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The crew that work there gel so well together!! I used to always say that I don't like Waffle House or will never go back, due to a bad experience long ago. But my dad really likes Waffle House and wanted to eat there this afternoon. We were able to seat ourselves right away, and chose a booth in the front. Christian was our server and he was great! We all ordered something different. I tried the hash brown bowl which is a layer of hash brown, then a layer of egg (I asked for scrambled hard w/ cheese), then a layer of meat, I chose sausage. And then I got a side of cheese grits. My mom got a waffle and a side of bacon. My dad ordered the classic breakfast which comes with a waffle, your choice of 2 eggs, meat, a side and toast. My daughter got a bacon, egg & cheese melt w/ a hash brown on the side. Everything was actually really good, had me dancing in my seat. Being from the west/left coast Waffle House has always been on our minor bucket list. While traveling back to our resort we opted to stop here for a bite, a late lunch / early dinner. Upon entering the staff, only two employees, were friendly. There was only one other customer in the place, which I found odd with the reputation Waffle House has. Per the listings here on Yelp there are two with similar addresses a block apart. Reviewing the address on Google maps, as well as the interior photos, this is the one we ate at. We were provided menus, but nothing on the menu indicted dinner type entrees like I read about or seen photos of. The closest thing to a dinner item was a chopped beef type sandwich (don't recall its exact menu name) with hash browns, which I ordered. The rest of the clan wanted breakfast foods and ordered accordingly. The food was delivered to our tables in a timely manner and was fresh/hot. The prices were reasonable and the food was okay+, nothing spectacular that made me say, "I can't wait to come back." I would come back, or try another Waffle House, but it was definitely scratched off that minor bucket list of ours. read more
