Loaded potato soup and half BLT

This is more a 2.5 star, but we round up. This seems to be the place senior citizens hang out. Kinda dingy. Kinda smelled weird. Could hear the kitchen staff talking (loudly.) My half BLT was barely assembled, baked potato soup was SALTY. Two of my fellow diners had the Pot Roast Melt - one had onions, the other didn't. All that said, the pies were delicious. I wouldn't return for food, but would grab some pie to go.

The Food was The nastiest I tasted in a long time. I can tell the cook didn't put his all or best into making the food. It's very unfortunate The cook re made my eggs but eggs was hard and no taste to it,very bland and dry

Haven't been here in a long time so appropriate to update a review! Perkins is still enforcing COVID-19 regulations! The food quality is very good and they are hiring! A little shorthanded right now puts an added & understandable strain on good servers cooks and other personnel. Big Country Pork sausage, Applewood smoked bacon, smoked ham, American cheese and cream gravy with two eggs* served over crispy smashed tots. My eggs were over Med. The better Half built a breakfast with 2 Eggs over Med. 2slices of Crispy Applewood Bacon Breakfast Potatoes and a couple of Biscuits! She also ordered a Muffin! On the side! Portions are large so be hungry Like I said the quality of the food is always good at Perkins and they are still rebounding as we all are from the Pandemic but they are doing it well! We'll be back

Ok let with house potatoes and rye toast

When I saw PA Bakery advertising mini King Cakes for Mardi Gras, I was genuinely thrilled. A…read morereasonably sized King Cake felt like a dream come true -- all the fun of the tradition without committing to feeding an entire village. I immediately pre-ordered two mini King Cakes at $5.50 each (total $11), already imagining the moment I'd get to gloat when I found the hidden baby! The mini King Cakes were actually quite generous in size. Easily enough for 3-4 people...although I personally demolished mine in one sitting and have zero regrets. Now for the part that caught me off guard. The plastic baby -- arguably the entire point of a traditional King Cake -- was perched on top instead of hidden inside. I was fully anticipating that moment of excitement that comes from discovering the baby mid-bite, because that's kind of the magic of a King Cake tradition. Without that element, what I ended up with felt more like a very festive brioche-style cinnamon roll wearing Mardi Gras colors than a King Cake. To be clear, it tasted good. The cake itself was soft without being dry, had plenty of cinnamon-esque filling without tipping into overly gooey territory, and was generously finished with frosting and sugary crystals. Flavor-wise, no complaints. But if you're marketing something specifically as a King Cake, the expectation is that the baby is hidden within. Otherwise, it changes the experience entirely. For food safety purposes, there are plenty of creative alternatives -- an edible marzipan baby, a clearly oversized non-choking-hazard version, sticker on the box, etc. -- but the surprise element is part of what makes a King Cake a King Cake. Overall, not a bad experience -- just not quite the Mardi Gras moment I was hoping for. Next year, I'll probably seek out a bakery that leans into the full King Cake tradition...because if I'm chasing the thrill of finding a tiny plastic baby in my dessert, I want to earn that victory properly. If the baby isn't going in the cake, just let me know up front so I can manage my expectations (and my Mardi Gras excitement) accordingly.

Always a great spot to stop by for some sweets. Even made a custom cake as a treat!…read more Camp hills go to spot for the pleasure, Never disappoints in the bakery feats :)

Second visit in a month. Third flavor tried. That should tell you everything…read more This time we went for the Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl Bundtlet ($6.75) -- classic white cake filled with creamy cheesecake, swirled and drizzled with real strawberry glaze, and topped with their signature cream cheese frosting. Moist, rich, and just sweet enough without tipping into sugar overload. We shared one for dessert, and it was the perfect size for two people who want to feel slightly virtuous about splitting dessert (don't worry, we still scraped the frosting off the container). The shop is tucked into a quiet strip mall but strategically placed near Capital City Mall, Trader Joe's, and more -- meaning it's almost too easy to "accidentally" stop in. Flavors change weekly, so there's always something new to try. We've had three now and still can't pick a favorite because they've all been stellar. Friendly staff, dangerously good cake, and a raffle for free Bundts (yes, we dropped our business cards in). We'll be back... probably every week.

Unfortunately, I was so excited to try my Biscoff mini Bundt cake, that I forgot to take a picture of it, but it was amazing!!!!! when I walked into the store, I was greeted by a young lady who was extremely nice and answered all of my questions. It is a very clean store with lots of selections. I'm so glad that I stopped and tried the Biscoff mini Bundt cake, but I'm sad that I forgot to take a picture of it. I will certainly be back to try other flavors. It was absolutely delicious!!!!!
