Carrot cake, Banana Cream Pie, Peanut Butter Silk Pie, and key lime pie
    Kyran D.

Carrot cake slide was huge, and tasty! Could've had more tangy frosting but that's all I can say, banana cream pie was the least good one, not much flavor or texture. Peanut butter pie was delicious, but definitely lacking chocolate, and the key lime pie was great!

    Honey Mustard Chicken Crunch Salad

We had to wait around 40 minutes to be seated because they were low on staff. There were multiple tables open, but just not enough people to wait which was unfortunate to see. It seemed to be like someone was late, or somebody came in on their off day because when we were seated, there were more people working. Regardless, it was not ideal to wait for so long, but we toughed it out due to some circumstances in my party. This was a standard chain establishment with a lot more unique entrées than I would have thought. I had a honey mustard chicken crunch salad ($15.39). It came with crispy chicken strips, sweet red onions, red peppers, tomatoes, American cheese, Applewood smoked bacon and honey mustard dressing on fresh garden greens. This was not too bad. The chicken was definitely crispy while all of the other ingredients appeared to be fresh. The key was the honey mustard dressing as it brought everything together. I also tried some biscuits that were decent at best too. They needed to be a little fluffier. Will I go back? Possibly.

    So So Gouda Burger

A good lunch I stopped in expecting to order breakfast, even though it was noon. After a couple of minutes, I was shown to a table and my server came by to take my drink order. The first piece of menu I looked at was for burgers, burgers with fries and a slice of pie. A slice of pie too? That sounded good, and it was. I ended up ordering something called a So So Gouda Burger, a burger with of course a slice of Gouda, but also with bacon, onion tangles (aka onion strings), Perkin's signature sauce, and the usual LTO, all on a Brioche bun. It stacked quite high on the plate. The burger came with a generous side of fries, and that slice of pie. I went with cherry. The burger was a winner, I liked the fries, and I definitely enjoyed the pie at the end of my meal. While the pie looked a bit flat, it was delicious, including the crust. Sure, I can go anyplace and order a burger and also order something for dessert, but this just seemed better, and it was priced like the pie was free. Good marketing. Service was fine. It started off a bit abrupt but after I was eating it was softer and more helpful. So why just 4 stars? One reason, it took 25 minutes from the time I placed my order until I had the burger.

There a multiple ceiling tiles that are missing or filled with boxes. There's even a booth that has all of its ceiling tiles blown out from water At least the food was good.

This is what I got for a medium prime rib last night!

Needless to say I was not impressed with what I received in my takeout order compared to what was advertised in the email. In fact what I received wasn't even edible. I did order 2 slice of pie, which was in addition to the dinner for a total of $33+.

Free refills on raspberry lemonade & soft drinks!

Worth the drive for a decent location for dinner. Manager seated us and started our drink order. Waitress wasn't far behind. Entrees arrived in ten minutes! Plenty of food with leftovers to take home. Free slice of pie on Monday's in October.

Biscuits and gravy mascarading as 2 sausage sandwiches.

The food was very good. The staff, including the manager, was rude and surly. I felt like a burden rather than a welcome customer.

The iced coffee was very good but also expensive for what you get. Hank's was below average. The root beer flavor was almost nonexistent. Maybe the regular root beer would be better. We ordered the French dip with tots and the Feathered Philly with fries. We really liked the tots and French fries and would give them a 5 out of 5 stars. The beef on the French dip lacked flavor as did the au jus. The beef reminded us of sliced deli roast beef not something the was marinated in spices for a period of time. Would give the French dip 2.5-3 stars. The chicken and onions on the Feathered Philly were better. They were seasoned and hot off the grill. Would give them 3.5 stars. The hoagie buns were good but nothing to write home about. The ambiance is great! Love how the decorated the most place. They have a great outdoor area to have your meal and a great concert area. I bet this place is really a great time for live music. It's connected to / next to the Harley dealer so I'm sure the have a high number of bikes on weekends and for the concerts. Parking for cars is limited by the restaurant but the have a parking lot across the street. Plenty of bike parking.

The food was fantastic! We started with the blue crab and artichoke fondue which I would highly recommend. It was plenty to share and came with a few different dipping options. It was cheesy without being excessively heavy. I got the mussels and fries as my dinner. The mussels were good, very standard, no notes on them. The fries were particularly good though. They were perfectly crisp, very hot like they were made to order, and topped with a lovely sprinkle of parmesan and drizzle truffle aioli. Had I been exceptionally hungry I'm not sure if this would have been enough as an entree, but there were definitely plenty of mussels if you're looking for a lighter meal or to share amongst the table. The rest of my party got the grouper, miso cod, and wagyu flatiron. They all had nothing but good things to say about their meals. I tried the strawberry haze to drink. It wasn't my favorite but that was more due to personal preference than the preparation itself. I wasn't expecting the charred strawberry to come through in the way that it did. Our server was very nice and answered the few questions we had. I would absolutely come back here to try their other menu items.

We both ordered the Waygu steak. Sides were cold and steak was tough. We sent it back and asked for the check. The wine then came that we wanted with dinner. I said that I didn't really want it anymore, but since it was there we'd go ahead and drink it. Manager came and said she was sorry about our meal, invalidating us by saying that the steak was really popular (guess she hasn't read Yelp reviews). Check came, and I guess I was expecting that they would comp the round of wine that we ordered expecting to enjoy with dinner. I was surprised that they charged us for it anyway. Spent $70 and without eating. What a waste of a birthday "dinner".

Ok this place is a total dive. It was recommended to me by a local bartender who seems to know her…read morestuff. I came here after a round of golf. Everyone loved my golf hat- "play bad fast". I looked at the outdoor bar but every single seat was taken. All the outdoor tables were booked. So I went inside and saw the inside bar was also full. A table for ten and a table for 6 had departed and needed to be bussed, but both were too much for just one person. So I checked in w the hostess and she asked - booth or table. I wanted table. I got a nice table by the river! Lovely views. Exactly what I wanted. Menus were dropped and soon, Sam was checking in on me. I was so hungry, I had looked at the menu and pics on my way there. I went for the crab cake appetizer and the Gold Wave cocktail. For my entree, I was torn between the Grouper Reuben and the Sea Dog (fried grouper on a long roll, topped with all sorts of goodness). Sam said grouper Reuben was his choice. He asked if I wanted grilled, blackened or fried. I told him to surprise me. For my side, I had the choice of (more) coleslaw (it has coleslaw instead of sauerkraut), fries, sweet potato fries, or a side house or Cesar salad for $4 more. I went w the house salad and their standard citrus vinaigrette. Salad and crab cake came out first. Salad was a huge portion- romaine (some pieces needed better washing), red onion galore, halved cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices. It was great, but needed croutons. The crab cake was the perfect size for one person. It had a whole grain mustard remoulade sauce. Yum! It had some filler but also had a lot of crab. I enjoyed it. The grouper Rueben came out hot!!!! Served with a side of coleslaw and a pickle. I added some needed salt. Boy that fish filet was huge. Sam had put it in grilled for me. Healthy. Nice. I ate half and then I was stuffed. I filled up on the salad and crabcake apparently. I enjoyed the views of boaters going by. It started to rain hard and the folks outside just stayed there. The overhang must've been protecting them well. My server, Sam, was around often to answer my questions. Apparently the grouper Reuben market price is only $21. And if you want redfish or mahi, the price is the same- $21! That's crazy. What a deal. The gold wave is made with Elijah Craig; Good ol Kentucky bourbon. And for dessert, they have cheesecake, peanut butter pie, mud pie, key lime pie, coconut sorbet and orange cake (which he says is a local favorite). I was too stuffed to buy but happy to hear the list. Overall I had a wonderful meal and service was really good. I would recommend adding croutons to the salad, and cleaning up the bathrooms regularly. This place ain't fancy. It's a dirt parking lot. The tables are naked. Folks come casual. However, the prices are great and the food does the talking. Come check them out.

We ordered an Arnold Palmer and a Ponce De Leon margarita, mozzarella sticks, shrimp basket, chicken fingers basket and (2) Florida orange cakes to go. Mozzarella sticks- average. Shrimp basket- good but tropical slaw was store bought with pineapple added. Chicken fingers- good not great, onion rings, good not great . Margarita- strong. Biggest problem- from 9-18 people just standing around talking, making staff walk around them. Other problems- some people just walk in past the front desk and just seat themselves ( the privileged). Total bill with tip $100 . Don't need to travel a half hour to just be ok. Won't be back.
