I took a second to look at the menu before deciding on the shrimp basket. Their menu is a decent size with several options. Once I walked over to the woman who was taking my order she didn't say hello or anything which i feel is common courtesy but that could just be a "me" thing. I would have loved for her to get curious to see if this was my first time and offer suggestions off the menu but again that might be a "me thing". My order cost $17.51 because the shrimp basket combo does not include a drink. I asked about refills and she said that would be $1 and I was also charged .50 cents for cajun seasoning for my shrimp. Overall it was a good amount of food. It was made to order so it was super fresh which I love, the shrimp wasn't well seasoned or the batter, the fries were hot crispy and well seasoned( fries are the favorite part of any meal for me lol). For the drink I got the wingboy punch which is an Arnold Palmer with strawberry, peach, mango, and pineapple flavors, whats interesting is that even with all those fruits it still wasn't that sweet adding actual fruit to it would have given it a nice touch and probably some added sweetness, But I would probably get it again. All in all i would rate my experience 4/10 because it just didn't give me any wow factors. With it being in a mall location(especially one that isn't a high volume how it used to be, I think its important to have little things that make your business stand out.

I ended up getting the grouper Reuben and it was very flavorful and filling. I got the Mac and cheese as a side and it was also good. I am very picky about Mac and cheese so that's a plus. The inside is huge and can accommodate many people and there is a lot of our outdoor seating. They also have a full bar in the back. I got the red sangria as well which was refreshing and a nice portion. I will be back!

Always a great meal (although it's pretty difficult to avoid carbs.)…read more I've been on a protein heavy diet recently so I'm trying to always eat protein. We came for brunch on a Sunday. It was never crowded the entire time we were there between 11:30 am and 1 pm. Parking was easy, which is nice because when it gets crowded that parking lot gets packed. Put sunscreen on the kids. There isn't any shade so the kids were super sweaty running around the play area. Adults should put on sunscreen too because in the morning there's not a lot of shade out there to stand in either. Future Christina, one biscuit is enough. I got a biscuit and then a side of biscuit for my omelet and my older son ate 3/4 of a biscuit with the younger one not wanting any. My husband got the grilled yardbird sandwich with a side of fries so that way my older son could eat a biscuit and fries which was his favorite meal ever. The younger one wanted pancakes. Unfortunately there's no kids meal pancakes so he ate half a pancake, which was still enough to make it worth it. (The smallest set of pancakes came with two.) I got the shrimp omelet which had a ton of plump shrimp. It was delicious. On top of the biscuit I got cheese grits. Next time I should get just the grits, the cheese didn't really add anything. Unfortunately the only non carb side is collard greens which has pork in it. My husband liked his yardbird although none of us ate the cornbread. And my dad said his grand burrito was good. I like how laid back this place is with down to earth food that's delicious. The cashier was very friendly giving me tips as I ordered. This place hires great workers. I really enjoy coming here and will definitely be back.

While in the area shopping we decided on a big lunch at Smokey Bones figuring dinner would be light. While looking the menu over we noticed several things are different since last time we had eaten here. When the server approached we asked her about doing a combo. I wanted the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs and pulled pork combo. I learned from server they no longer offer that combo. She stated that to do that combo it would cost between 5-6 dollars more. I also asked if I could have the center cut of the ribs. I was told no, they don't do that. I hate when you order a half rack of ribs and you basically get 3 edible ribs out of the 6. We all know how the ends are usually burnt and not very good. For an appetizer we ordered a corn bread. It used to be served in a pan. It's now served as 4 mini cornbreads. I actually prefer the cornbread this way. The taste was the same, still delicious. Also, if you don't finish them you can take it home and it's a mini cornbread for later. When my food arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious and the ribs were so tender and falling off the bone. The pulled pork was yummy too as was the sides. Our server was lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to come back when in the area.

There is also a grill where you pick your raw ingredients, and they grill in front of you. The dinner was $33.95 per person. However, they have plenty of high end options. They have all your staples, the sushi, the sashimi, fried foods, a ton of dessert, a hibachi, fish, crab, etc. I lean heavily towards sushi in this situation, so I made myself a plate of sushi and sashimi. It wasn't the best. I don't expect it to be fantastic at buffets, but the sashimi did taste fishy, and the sushi was a little below what I would even expect at an all you can eat. I usually can power through, but I left about half of the sashimi on my plate. The salmon sashimi wasn't bad, but it was very cold. So why three stars? My older son really liked it. Luckily they had enough non-Asian food that he went to town. They had fries, garlic toast, he ate the lo mein picking out the vegetables. Actually, both kids liked the lo mein, so that was a hit. They also have individual servings of ice cream and the kids loved that as well. I actually enjoyed that they had coffee flavor. My husband loves crab legs, so he ate a majority of that. They also had a Matcha cake that was better than I expected. Overall, I don't love this place, but for the price what you get is pretty decent. So I'm not rushing to come back, but if my kids do want to eat here, I wouldn't stop them. It's large, there's tons of parking, especially out back. I don't think you'll have to worry about getting a table.
