I went with a large group. They took good care of us with a round table in the corner. It was a weeknight so not too busy. Service was friendly and made it easy. Didn't fawn all over us but were mostly attentive. I enjoyed everything but wasn't completely wowed. My main was the ciopinno - seemed a bit monochromatic in flavor to me. The freshness of the seafood would have needed to be the star and it didn't shine. I enjoyed dunking the bread it came with into the broth of course. Appetizers were all totally fine and enjoyable but again not stellar. Liked the little fish sandwiches. The fried calamari was really good. Oysters Rockefeller- just ok (I'm judging them against Acme oyster chargrilled oysters in New Orleans and these ain't that lol). Everyone had fun and seemed to enjoy what they got- the food was fine - maybe I'm just a little too picky. 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 since service was pretty nice and reservation process was easy for large group.

Forgot to take photos squad! The food here was amazing. Think of this place as a fancier version of Hudson House. The French fries were on point and as good as McDonald's. The oysters were phenomenal! I really enjoyed them here & highly recommend. The fried fish sliders were so crisp and can be an entree on their own. For the ladies the espresso martinis- I make mine with scotch - was sooo smooth!!!! The service could have been a bit better. I think our server was overwhelmed. Some mid order apps were forgotten and all honestly idk if we were charged for them or not bc we enjoyed the food so much and were busy catching up.

TLDR: Green Point definitely lived up to the hype on our 1st visit! Classy and inviting atmosphere. Delicious dishes with a broad range of seafood options and very professional and attentive service. All the things I love! The deets: We stopped by for an early lunch on a Saturday. It wasn't crowded yet, which was perfect. We started with the crab & artichoke dip. It was so good...highly recommend. Next we shared the little fried fish sandwiches, a tuna melt, and a side of the potato "wedges". Everything was so good. My fave was the fish sandwiches. The potato "wedges" are just steak fries, which is what we prefer. They were very good, but were heavy on the seasoning. Next time we'll ask for no salt and recommend you do the same if you're not a fan of heavy seasoning. This was a personal preference issue though, so we still loved our Green Point experience and will definitely return.

For starters, I want to say our waiter was amazing. He was so nice and genuinely took care of us from start to finish. Total 10/10 ,he really set the tone for the night. As for the food, a lot of it felt a little overpriced for what we got. The oysters were the biggest disappointment. I've had bigger and better ones elsewhere for a lower price. These were tiny literally the size of a bottle cap and they were around $48. For that price, you'd expect something more substantial. I'd rate the oysters a 2/10. The appetizer I tried was the hamachi crudo. I'd give it a 6/10. It was good to try once, fresh and nicely presented, but personally not something I'd order again just not my taste. I for some reason expected more sauce than pepper. My boyfriend ordered the Seafood Royale for his birthday. I didn't really have complaints about it. The char and flavor were good, and everything was cooked well. For $68, I do think it could have come with a bit more variety, but overall I'd still give it an 8/10. I don't remember the exact name of the pasta I ordered, but it had uni in it and it was so good. Honestly, I would get that pasta again without hesitation. A solid 10/10. Overall, we had a great experience. The drinks were really good, and they even brought out a free cake for my boyfriend's birthday, which was super sweet. I just feel like the food leaned on the pricier side for what it was, but it was still enjoyable for a one-time visit. It is a little dark in there because it tries to give off the cool dining experience, lots of booths to sit in so if you're thinking of you want to spend a lot of money on one night just for like a special celebration this is the place for it, but if not, then I would recommend somewhere else.

Out shopping and stopped in for a quick lunch. The space is super cute with a warm, moody vibe, and I was greeted and seated right away in the bar area. Service was friendly and attentive. The food, though, really missed the mark. Since it's an oyster bar, I went with the seafood platter. The oysters were poor quality and honestly shouldn't have been served. I ate one prawn, but the next two I noticed weren't cleaned properly. The crab claws were nice and meaty. The ceviche tasted like straight vinegar couldn't taste the fish and the chips on the side were stale and crumbly. Fries were hot and crispy but way too salty. I also tried the banana pudding, which had a gritty, powdery texture. Sent it back. Overall, I'd recommend this spot for pre-dinner drinks and maybe a small snack, but I'd get your entrée somewhere else.

I can't believe I'm saying that one of the best burgers I've had in a LONG time was here, at a seafood place! Holy moly lol. I have no idea what they do to that thing but I WILL be going back and it WILL be just for the burger! Ambiance is cute and service is amazing here. I like all the booths. Hubby said the gumbo was amazing. That bowl was almost licked clean. The oysters were great and I was told the fish n chips and snapper were on point and I'll take their word for it since they're from Seattle. All in all I highly recommend this place! Even if you don't like seafood!

Excellent experience overall at Green Point! We just came by during dinner time to try some of their oysters. Their interior is warm and cozy and relatively small so I would definitely recommend making a reservation. There's valet or a self-parking lot across the street near the Starbucks. The oysters were good overall and we enjoyed their fresh taste. Overall I'm looking forward to coming back when in the area.

Green Point is always on Point The food here is amazing The service overall is great We always end up tipping 25-30% due to the level of attention and care when dining of the servers. I've only had an issue here once with the hostess which didn't affect our experience with service and food so it was noted and stars docked as your experience start from entry. Some family favorites you must try - mussels (the grilled bread that accompany are the perfect pairing to suck up the broth YUM) - lobster roll - mini Fish sandwiches - halibut - seafood pasta - banana pudding dessert is so unique and tasty The overall space is open and there is the ability to get cozy in a booth with a date or with family and fiends.

Visited to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a nice time overall. The place was busy, so the wait was longer than expected. We ordered several dishes to share - some were great, while others were hit or miss. The atmosphere was cozy with Christmas decorations. Parking was a bit difficult to find.

So we were wanting seafood on Saturday and all of the places the wife wanted were far from the house and it was already noonish for a far drive for food, so I found some place closer in the Dallas area. So we decided on Greenpoint Seafood and Oyster I am glad we did, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. Something you would expect from an upscale restaurant. From reading the reviews, we knew that this place was going to be a bit uppity and it was and not in a bad way either. We were basically walk-ins because when we got there, we were greeted immediately and were asked if we had reservations. We said no and were asked if we wanted the bar or outside seating, we choose the bar. So far the hostess was very nice, the waiters and waitresses were awesome, always checking on you. The bar area is in a half oval shape where depending where you sit, you might be seating across from other people which we were, (I'll get back to that a little later.) The ambiance is elegant, well lit and comfortable. I will say that some of the seating areas can be a bit tight though. Anywho, now to the food. We started with the whitefish dip and chips. It was very good and the chips were perfect, nice and crispy and can hold up to the dip for sure. We ordered the fish and chips and a lobster roll. The fish was perfectly cooked and the lobster roll had huge chunks of knuckle meat, a bit small, but still delicious. Again, this place is upptity, but the staff did not make it feel that way, we were welcomed and the service was great along with the food. Now, being that this place is uppity, it may attract snobs who think they are better than you, which we seemed to have encountered while seating at the bar. We happened to be towards the end of the bar where the bar curves allowing others to sit right across from you on the other side of the bar. Well to make a long story short, as we were eating the wife and I noticed this guy sitting right across from us staring at us as if we didn't belong there. I had to do a double take because you could feel the heat from his stares, because when I looked up, he was staring right at me. I was thinking WTF are you staring at Bro!? Being Hispanics, you will get that every now and then, but it's been such a long time that has happened. It's like our money isn't as green as his. Well to him, we have eaten at more expensive restaurants before and never experienced anything like this like we did from this individual and his stares. We plan to go back, but hopefully we'll never experience anything like that again, because everyone else in the restaurant were cool AF and again the staff!

Came here on a Saturday night with my husband and in laws! We had reservations but still had to wait a few minutes to be seated. It was super busy and pretty loud, but a nice establishment with easy parking. Our waiter wasn't very personable but got all our orders correct and gave recommendations. For apps we opted for the oyster Rockefeller, calamari and shrimp cocktail. They were all delicious. I got the shrimp pasta which was really good! My husband got the fish n chips which he enjoyed But he also wished he had more fries. My father-in-law got the same thing but felt his fries were overcooked. My sister in law ordered the lobster roll which she enjoyed. We would definitely return!

Chic Seafood Bistro. Cozy lunchtime. Bustling Saturday nights. Impeccable service always, never once felt rushed. As for tonight's dinner, great appetizers of beautifully battered "Fried Calamari" and rich "Warm Crab & Artichoke Dip". Shame of tad overcooked was my entree of "Grilled Faroe Island Salmon". And, likable was GP's light "Lemon Bar"! CHEERS!

Came on a Sunday and sat at the bar, I don't remember our bartenders name but he was very attentive and gave good suggestions. The mussels were good and scallops were cooked great. Would come back and try more items on the menu.

For some reason, this time I settled on hummus, but also saw lots of other cool choices, including sushi. Bread is baked in-house and lots of people seem to like the made to order sandwiches and prepared foods. We were seated right in front of the kitchen, which made it fun to watch the chefs working during the meal. We started with the Blue Crystal Prawns and Hamachi Crudo. The tonnarelli pasta was fantastic, especially after just coming back from Milan. The wagyu coulotte was cooked perfectly and was another highlight. It came with chicken jus, which was an interesting touch that worked really well. Dessert was great. The chocolate mousse was unreal, and the gelato with walnuts and chocolate was also excellent. Justin also brought out a birthday toast and noticed that I do not drink, so he brought a zero alcohol option instead. Attention to detail expected (but perhaps not officially required?) was not there across the board... including, I just noticed, that their Yelp profile is still "unclaimed". Is no one monitoring and/or caring about what people think? When we "jokingly" asked the waiter why he didn't put the napkins in our laps, his response was that the owners wanted to create a more laid-back casual vibe. For that I might go to Chili's--I never go to Chili's. ;) I did think beforehand it was going to be special as I received a text asking the name of the person celebrating their birthday. I figured that meant something personal and special might happen. See the card--the "birthday celebrant's" name was not "Mamani". Makes me wonder why they even asked. And not that a full, free dessert was expected, but even nice, non-Michelin places give mignardises (I admit I had to google that one!) at the end of a meal as a final "thank you" for dining with them. Did I mention there was also no amuse-bouche (that one I didn't have to google!)? The food was all good, although the "prepared table-side" veal cordon bleu lacked the presentation one might expect. It surely would have been plated better in the kitchen without the table-side gimmick that added nothing to the entree. The "greens salad" meant to be shared, yet stuffed all into one bowl without plates, was difficult to eat. When we asked for plates we were told it was "meant to be picked at while eating as sort of an amuse-bouche" and were never brought plates. Don't call a salad that accompanies a meal "like an amuse-bouche"--it's not. The "Bread We Bake" was fine if not a bit pricy, but the "Rodolphe Le Meunier" butter made it worth it! Artichoke appetizer was tasty and easy to eat. I heard the woman at the table next to ours telling the waiter that the place was "lacking that oomph" expected at Michelin restaurants and I believe they left after drinks and appetizers before ordering their entrees that I had previously heard them discussing. I see a few more one-star reviews agree with us. Atmosphere was pleasing. For "just another nice Dallas restaurant", I'll give it 4 stars. I was expecting 5+++ Without major changes, I cannot fathom that this star will be renewed next year.

Good but overhyped. It's really solid pizza but I won't be back. The service was phenomenal. We…read moredined in and our waiter really had a passion for the product - you could tell. Apparently they won best pizza in the world a few times for their star Luca pizza. Out of all 5 pizzas my group got, that wasn't our favorite. Nutella pizza is a knock out. Sinfully good. Ambiance was nice but you won't miss anything if you get it to go. Very good pizza but not worth $20+ a pie for medium sized 6-cuts.
