I had no idea you could take in your persols and have the lenses replaced if they get scratched. I took in my black Steve McQueens and it was $115 to replace the lenses. Definitely cheaper than buying a new pair. Great service and I got them back in less than a week. read more

My wife and I have been clients since 2014 at this location. Bani and Gerardo have been a great service to us. I always get 2 pairs of glasses, 1 pair for computer use and the 2nd pair for all occasions. Several eye care centers have failed terribly in making the lenses, even after 3 tries. Gerardo, however, took my prescription and walked through the usual measurements, got the glasses back from the lab in less than a week. Love the products and have been buying Persol sunglasses for 20 years. Have recently tried to buy eyeglasses however and it has been nightmarish. While they purport to offer an online prescription eyeglass service, I have had to send my prescription 10 times, they don't get their emails (or don't read them and then just ask for your prescription again). No meaningful responses from customer service. When I tried to reach out, they provided non-working or non-functional email links. It has been weeks of wasted time. If you must have Persols, use one of the other online companies that may carry some models. Unless you want a headache and a hassle, avoid ordering anything from Persol directly. This place is great. Their associates are super friendly and down to earth unlike some of the other shops on Rodeo. I'm not going to review the quality of their sunglasses because everyone knows they're the best. They gladly asked if they could clean and tighten up the joints on my Persols as my girlfriend was looking at some glasses. If you're a Persol fan like me you'll love this place because they have all the original machines that are used to fit and size sunglasses right in the store and they'll do it complimentary. I placed 6 different optical orders online with Persol, and all were cancelled without any explanation. I spent over 6 hours on the phone (40 minutes for each cancellation) without getting any resolution to as what has happened in the back end system. They also assured me the management is aware of the issue and are working on escalating, and resolving it. But at the end I got the attached emails. One is garbled (it is Persol's system as I tried with Safari, Edge, Chrome, .., and all had the same result.) Looks like Perso is way behind the curve ball when it comes to technology. How awesome is this selection - and the service is truly professional and helpful. Today, I came in to look at a replacement pair of sunglasses after one of my Ray Ban lenses shattered. He had the actual replacement lens in stock and even though he could have charged me for a new pair of glasses, he knew that the frame was perfect and simply charged me for the replacement lens - and had it repaired in less than five minutes. I would expect this kind of service in a smaller neighborhood - not on the corner of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire in Two Rodeo. I will go back there every time I need a new pair of glasses. Horrible client service. First, the lady didn't even acknowledge me. I would have understood if it was busy, but I was the only one in store. I was going to buy Chanels, but whatever.
