Love to come to Persy's because of the big overwhelming menu that makes my decision harder and harder every time I come here! So I went with the Hash Bomb! HOLY SHIT! They aren't kidding about the bomb part! They literally take a croissant and stuff it with hash and scramble eggs... Not a little smart portion either where you can two hand handle the sandwich, This thing was a huge tower STUFFED with a generous amount of hash and scrambled eggs!!!! And this huge tower was dressed with cheese sauce all over it! The hash tasted amazing! Nothing like that canned stuff! This sure was fresh hash! I got a side of home fries, which are soooo good! And a side of a pancake (which was very bland and had no taste it really!) The waitresses were very quick and courteous! We didn't have just one it seemed! I wasn't that impressed with the food. The California benedict was way too oniony and the hollandaise "sauce" was just a thick yellow lump. Very expensive as well, almost $19 for the benedict, home fries with sour cream, and an iced coffee. The server was nice, but I'm not sure if I'll be back. read more

This is one of the finest breakfast places you'll fine. Chain restaurants can't compare. When I go, I can always expect a fresh plate of perfectly-cooked fluffy scrambled eggs. The atmosphere here is cute. Some of the tables are a little small, but that doesn't bother me. I ordered the stuffed mushroom omelette and it was delicious. My husband, 2 children and I frequent Persy's nearly every weekend. The kids love the atmosphere, the crayons and coloring pages they get to keep them occupied and the games on the table. Although the food is generally very quick to come out, all kids need to be occupied! Typically when we go, we have Courtney as our waitress and she is AWESOME! Efficient, friendly, attentive and always willing to get you what you need. The kids love going to see her each week! Even if we do not have Courtney on a given week, the rest of the staff is also excellent...we have not encountered anyone that we would not recommend...great job Persy's keeping this friendly staff and your customers returning week after week! I think they continue to experiment with outdoor dining and the flying napkins can be distracting but overall, it was pleasant to sit out near the woods at a nice clean table and enjoy a leisurely breakfast that was delicious. Pretty great place, I don't really come here too often but when I do I never have any complaints, the food is good and the portions are pretty large so I end up taking some food home. I have driven by this place a thousand times and never once thought about stopping in. I didn't even know it was a breakfast place! However, a friend took me here for breakfast just a couple of weeks ago and I was quite happy. They were reasonably priced, had a large menu, and the place felt cute and cozy inside. Haven't gone to Persy's in quite a few years and I got roped in by photos here on yelp. I'm giving three stars because the food was just ok, service was great though. My boyfriend ordered an omelet with broccoli, bacon, feta and American cheese, I ordered chourico Benedict and we split raisin French toast. Let me start by saying, for 40 dollars that was not worth it at all. They hardly gave me hollandaise sauce on my eggs Benedict, my eggs were tiny, and they overpowered the dish with huge chunks of peppers and onions compared to meat they put on the dish. The French toast was decent but nothing to write home about. The coffee was delicious, and my boyfriend said his omelet was ok. But essentially absolutely not worth $20 per person for mediocre breakfast. We arrived fairly early at about 9am and our ketchup bottle at our table was empty which tells me they fail to refill these on a daily basis, I had no Splenda at the table for my coffee..just little things that someone could pay more attention to we were lacking. All in all I wouldn't go out of my way again to go there. read more

It shocks me that there are so many unfavorable reviews. I moved to the area about 8 years ago and found Persy's Place right around the corner from where I lived. I thought the menu was amazing and the food and people were even more amazing. My husband and I frequently have breakfast here even though we have moved from Dartmouth area. It is our go to place for breakfast and even when family visits from out of town they are impressed and boast about Persy's Place and how they wished they had such a great place. Persy's is great place and even though they do get busy at times they try to be helpful and acknowledge the wait as a pain, but seriously who hasn't waited for food before?? Try the corn bread, breakfast was ok, big menu, but the real winner was the mini corn bread loafs that were given to us. Not sure if this is a common practice or because they were closing soon, but s women asked if we received corn bread? We said no and she came out with 2 mini loafs and said here you go. This place is extremely busy on a Sunday morning. I had an egg white omelette with home fries & bacon. The egg white on the inside of the omelette was too runny and raw looking for my taste. The home fries and bacon were extremely soggy and oily. My friend asked for tea. The waitress handed her an empty mug and a tea bag. Our waitress disappeared and my friend had to wait about 15 min so she could ask for some hot water for the tea. Service was mediocre and the food was below average. I've had better at McDonalds. Went to percy's place in dartmouth, thursday, friday, and saturday, love coming here. Today( saturday) came in and was told hello bye most of the waitress that know us from coming here alot, today had my favorite server, roberta. She always smiles and joke's with my mom , my mom is 82 and had a stroke in 2012 , roberta always. Has her smiling. This has to be the worse experience I've had. I've been here before in the past and didn't experience such poor quality in service like we did today. We waited forever to be served and finally had to ask for a manager which was also useless. My aunt and I were so disappointed. I think staff needs some training on service. Had breakfast here today and it was excellent. Prices are low, and I love the unlimited eggs at no extra charge..I had 3 eggs, with a pancake and toast for $5.99, I think that is a good deal. Our waitress was 1 of those fake women and the service sucked. She brought hot water over for our tea, and it was luke warm. She never asked if we needed more hot water. My boyfriend asked for powdered sugar on his belgian waffle, and she responded with," Of course that's how we make it here." Well guess what it comes out with NONE on it. On top of that, she didn't even catch it! He asks for some to be put on there, and she apologizes. I had a side pancake that was cold with my sausage eggs benedict. I also sent it back. I wanted two eggs hash and home fries, sounds simple but they don't do that hash had to be a side. so I went with hash omelet. when I tell this was the worst breakfast I have ever had that is an understatement. the omelet was cooked until every molecule of moisture was gone, the hash was mixed in with the eggs and also taste less and dry, toast cold, some home fries burnt others raw. my friends entire meal was cold. This place has a great menu!! The hash is by far the BEST homemade hash I have ever had!! I had Hash Benedict and The Boy had the Portuguese Chourico Benedict! Both were awesome with large portions! This was the first time I ever took "doggy bag" home from breakfast, which doesn't help that much justifying the $36 cost (with tip) for these two plates and coffee!! The staff is friendly.
