The service was top notch. We were greeted with open arms and a warm welcome. The food was excellent (Peruvian here). I took my mom here for an early dinner and she couldn't have been happier. The various menus were helpful (picture, Spanish, English). I would highly recommend everyone try this! The Lomo Saltado is always highly recommended.

Came here for supper last night with a friend of mine. The food was excellent. Our server was very attentive and the place was clean. It's located in a strip mall.

I stopped in for lunch. The owner was amazing!! I ordered the pollado & yuca fries & a cuban sandwich. All were amazing!!!! I see why this restaurant gets 5 stars. The staff is super friendly & helpful. They have TVs and a small bar if you're dining alone. Definitely will be back!!

Originally I was going to have lunch at Amazing Thai today but decided to hit this new Peruvian restaurant next door. I'm very glad I did. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend. All food is made from scratch and locally sourced.

We tried the seco de carne and seafood ceviche, both were delicious! I wish they put more of the delicious green sauce on the seco de carne. Maybe I can ask for more next time. The seafood ceviche was refreshing and flavorful. The Chica morada was perfectly sweet, fruity with a hint of cinnamon, it went well with our meals. I really wanted to try the yuca fries but they didn't have any that day. We'd like to come back and try other items on the menu. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, she was checked on us, refilled our drinks and brought extra plates to us as requested.

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe that I forgot to leave a review for this wonderful place. This is a family run business and the food is absolutely amazing. The service is great and the fact that it is family owned makes it even better. I've got to go back because I had the Yuuka fries and I had some soup and let me tell you both were amazing the sauce that came with the Wyuca fries was so delicious. I could take a bath in it and just drink it it's that good and it went with my soup so well cause I like to experiment like that The service was definitely a winner and I can't stop talking about it because it was so good y'all should go and give it a try because this family does service right

Arrow Chaufa (added chicken) in top corner, Tallarin Saltado with Chicken in foreground. Very flavorful and very reasonably priced.

Fairly new still, three months in, the food was authentic, the service friendly and the chef was very appreciative of my visit. I am really fond of good Peruvian Food and there are not many choices here, I knew that a Shelbyville spot (Pisco Sour) was no longer there, what I learned was this is the same family that moved the business to Middletown (closer to their home)! I decided on the Tallarin Saltado with Chicken, Noodles, a variety of bell peppers, onion and seasoning then added a generous order of Arroz Chaufa con Pollo. Everything was fresh, well seasoned and portioned generously. The dining area was small but clean with a neat bar at the back surrounded by a small lounge area with music playing at a sensible volume. Overall, a great experience and deserving of a visit, dine in or carry out!

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch while waiting for some spare keys to get made next door. What a hidden gem! Our food was AMAZING and the service was unbeatable. The staff did a wonderful job explaining the menu to us and seemed very passionate about their food. 10/10!

Apparently there was a party of 30; I'm impressed by the kitchen that my food came out fast and delicious. We were a little disappointed with the lag of response time when we first sat at the bar area however....once we ordered the yucca cheese bites it transported me back to when I was living in So Cal eating the classic "Cheese on a Stick". I would come back just for these alone! We ended up having a few drinks, appetizers and a to-go order of two entrees but once we got home one of the entrees was missing a side. After calling the restaurant and speaking with Lorrena we were able to get a refund for our missing side. I absolutely love yucca mojo and was so looking forward to trying their version. Maybe this mishap presents a future visit to try what we were missed out of. Yet again, I'd go back simple for the yucca cheese bites! I would also like to add, pricing was exceptionally reasonable. I hope you all enjoy this place as much as we did, but when placing a to-go order; double check what you paid for before you leave. Gracias Loreena for rectify the situation.

Bright colors everywhere, from the outside facade as I entered, to the chairs, tropical plants, the "Azucar!" mural with dangling vines, the dinner plates, the menu, and the food itself. My waiter Pedro was great, and checked on me frequently. In fact all the staff were great, neatly dressed in black, most wearing hats, making friendly greetings as I passed, holding doors, etc. Complimentary bread was brought. It was a good mini loaf, fresh and warm, and accompanied by two compound butters, guava and cilantro. I'm not a butter fan but I did try them for review purposes and they were interesting. The bread also helped extend my appetizer-portion ceviche, soaking up the spicy liquid. The ceviche portion was actually generous for the price and with the bread just what I needed for lunch. Medium-size shrimps in spicy tomato-lime sauce with cilantro, raw onions, micro-greens, and orange-yellow edible flowers on top. Served with tostones instead of the usual chips. These thick fried slices of green plantain were salty, soft in the middle and crispy on the outside, a perfect accompaniment. The outdoor covered patio area was packed with diners, loud with Cuban music in a good way, vines (plastic?) everywhere , chandeliers and straw lampshades on the ceiling, with large fans and a misting device controlling the heat. A small bird visited my table as I ate, politely sitting for a bit on the other chair. A comfortable place where you'd want to hang out a long while if you had the time, which I didn't. I also had a mojito, cold, minty, limey (real limes) and refreshing. A bit sweet to my liking but definitely strong. I love Cuban food, and I wish I could have tried more of the large and intriguing menu. I didn't even get a dessert, just an excellent Café Cubano without sugar (so an espresso really), served in an elegant Victorian-style gilded espresso cup and saucer (see photo). Chipped, but that just adds to the charm.

I ordered the shrimp appetizer, which was delicious but very garlic just in case you don't like that. And the vaca frita - everything was so delicious and I will definitely be back to try more things on their menu.

The homemade sauces are to die for, let's just start there. And second, I'll admit that I've gotten carryout from there two days in a row. I will say that the online ordering platform on Yelp is powered by Grubhub and the prices vary from the dine in menu. The torta here is literally the best in Lexington, and I've eaten them from more local places than I care to admit. The bread was so fresh that I'm thinking it was homemade. The steak option literally looked like it had a pound of beef on it. The melted cheese and the guacamole were fantastic as well. It was like a fat cheese steak sandwich at half the cost of a usual cheese steak sandwich. Oh, and it also comes with an order of fries, which is a nice surprise. I've also had the chicken burrito plate. It comes with two burritos, rice, beans, cheese sauce and guacamole. The guacamole and cheese sauce is sooo good. I think the white queso is a regional thing and I'm glad, it's my favorite. I recommend asking for the cheese sauce on the side so that you can add some to the rice. Thank me later.
