House made sourdough with egg yolk and butter, and a cheese plate they so kindly put together for us!
Kristie C.

VIBES: This place was so cute, reminded me of somewhere you'd find in Barcelona. FOOD/DRINK - cheese plate was served even though kitchen was closing and this is off menu, but every cheese was delectable: Brie, beemster and a very mild manchego. SO good - house made bread: crispy, crunchy exterior a toasted with a great bread and fun egg yolk - non alcoholic rose: very very tasty Overall would definitely come back especially for one of their large cheese boards. Service was very friendly for having accommodated us when they were close to closing!!

great selection of wine and live music. service is aligned with any good PS spot which are attentive without feeling interrupted. the space isn't huge, but still can be a great spot for a 6 top or a solo diner.

While on a girl's trip to Palm Springs this summer we stumbled upon Canopy as we were shopping in the downtown area and looking for poor Marilyn who had been moved from her usual spot. The owner helped us out by pointing us in the right direction and we noticed the restaurant and the beautiful décor as we chatted with him. We returned for dinner and were very impressed with the food, wine, and service. I had one of their spritzes (I think the champagne one) and for my entrée, I had the La Scala chopped salad with chickpeas and chicken. It was very tasty. I also tried the roasted beets with couscous, artichokes, and feta, which was even better. Everyone was also raving about the Dirty Della sandwich with mortadella and a pistachio pesto mayo, which was recommended by the waiter. To finish off, we did share in a slice of the burnt Basque cheesecake which was delightful. We sat outside and the temperature had cooled down just enough to have a slight breeze. The place is even more pretty at night. I highly recommend checking out this gem if in the area.

We stumbled upon Canopy while looking for a place to have dinner. Although not wine connoisseurs, my friend had a margarita made with agave wine, which she pronounced delicious. We had the deviled eggs -amazing!- and the charcuterie board which was like the high tea of delectable meats and cheeses, with all sorts of little surprises tucked in for us to enjoy. Way too much for two people, would be nice to have a smaller option but we ate as much as we could. Our servers were friendly and efficient and Chef Kristen served our food and chatted with us about her deviled egg recipe. The outdoor setting was comfortable and quiet off the main street. Two comments/suggestions-- put up some sort of screen along the patio to block the view of the port-a-potties at the skate park; and for pete's sake get a Nespresso machine so one can enjoy a cup of coffee with their dessert!

Took a bite before remembering to take the picture lol

Came here for dessert and a glass of wine! Such a vibe- service was kind. Wine & orange cake were the perfect end to my night! Saw a couple enjoying a charcuterie board & it looked so good. Will be back!

Chaedonnay All Day $45 flight very well presented

There I was, headed to Ponzu Sushi when I heard something unexpected--an angelic voice drifting over from the next block, wrapped in the soft strum of a guitar. I followed the music like a scene from a movie and found myself at Canopy Wine Bar. And let me tell you, it's a scene worth stepping into. This spot is all about quiet elegance. The menu is tight and thoughtful. I opted for the wine flight, and Flight #4 was right up my alley--Domaine Jean-Michel Dupre Vin Orange. Yes, look at me reading the menu like I know what I'm doing! As the sun dipped below the mountains and the live music wrapped the patio in calm, it felt like one of those "remember this" moments. If you're in Palm Springs on a Sunday night, this place should absolutely be on your radar. Now, a little secret: the Kale Caesar Salad. But this isn't your average Caesar--it's lifted by espelette red pepper, a French chili that doesn't shout, it sings. At just around 4,000 on the Scoville scale, it's more about warm complexity and subtle depth than heat. It rounds out the dish beautifully. That's all I'll give away. The rest you'll have to experience for yourself. Canopy isn't just a wine bar--it's a vibe, a moment, and a little slice of Palm Springs magic.

Such a cute, chill wine lounge! It was my first time in DT Palm Springs, where parking can be tricky. My friends and I hung out on the outdoor patio around the fire pit - a great people-watching spot. The interior (and apparently bathrooms) are aesthetically pleasing as well. Fantastic wine selection and customer service. Love Canopy and their happy hour specials!

My husband and I had a beautiful time at Canopy! It's so nice to see a true wine bar come to Palm Springs. You can't beat the decor for a fun yet intimate vibe, everywhere you look is photo-worthy, it's truly a beautiful place. The staff were ALL so kind, attentive, and welcoming. We did a flight each and they ensured glasses were swiftly removed once finished to make space which was a nice touch. We did the chilled reds tasting flight since it was 105° that day - it hit the spot! Perfect 3oz pours so we could sample from different regions. The Nebbiolo was a great way to finish off the evening as well - can't wait to go back tomorrow!

What a great place. Went twice in a week. 1st time was hungry-it really is a wine lounge - not too many offerings but what we had was Really Good! The service totally awesome friendly warm. We sat outside not too far from the "fire tables?" We had a nice dry Reisling shared their 1/2 charcuterie platter for 2 which was alot of delish items. Yummy olives cheeses Italian meats. Nice cracker selection grapes + condiments! 2nd time with friends shared their Iberico bread which was like a delish grown up empanada w chips! I had the Champagne Flight. All good last thing they had a DJ who played incredible old disco + music from 70's /80's but beautiful jazzy remakes. All good here!

Love love love Canopy! We walked past this place while previewing our dinner spot and popped in to see what they had going on for NYE. They mentioned a 9pm toast which was perfect since my hubby is from the east coast and liked to celebrate at 9pm and 12pm, so we decided to pop back in after our dinner. Beyond friendly service- truly and genuinely wonderful people work here. The vibe and space is beautiful and you can tell they spent so much time with the details, finishes and fixtures. We had some drinks and olives to nibble on until the countdown. The staff passed around fun NYE themed glasses, hats, etc and glasses of champagne to everyone! It was a magical way to ring in the new year and we look forward to coming back soon when we are in town.

We were there a few days ago. They are really making an effort to do the thing right. Decor is A-plus, wait staff (we had Lisa) were wonderful, and they have a large selection of Argentinian wines. We had one of the private label reds that seemed a little young; full of tannins, but still interesting. Will be better after it's laid down a while longer. We can't wait to have the charcuterie boards and be there for the opening of the Rose' amphora in the lobby. (Canopy is registered as a winery; so they can age their wine there. Not sure where the grapes are grown.) This only thing that would make it better would be to add some more approachable and affordable reds, like Zins from Lodi, or Cabs or Red Blends from Paso Robles. For some reason, there was a large selection of wines from Russian River, which is not my favorite wine-growing region, since there are so many more wonderful wine growing regions in CA. The ambience here makes it worthwhile. It's the perfect spot for a date or to enjoy a glass of wine after dinner, since they are open later than some restaurants. Go check em out. You'll be glad you did.

Standouts included the tamarind martini, which was exceptional--smooth, flavorful, and dangerously drinkable (I had a few, and soon my friends were ordering them too). The bacon-wrapped figs were a highlight, so good we polished off two orders; the pizza was decent but could have used a touch more time in the oven for a crispier crust. Prices struck a reasonable balance for the quality and vibe. We ate, drank, and danced the night away--truly a perfect outing. V Wine Room delivers on fun, friendly energy every time.

They also serve wines by the glass and have a few Belgian and German beers on tap. This is what we came for. The humidor is kept locked, and staff will escort you through it. Not a shopping style I prefer, but I get why they do it. We picked our sticks. Had a seat in a leather wingback chair. We were asked about our cut. The cigars were brought to us. Handed and lit. Beverages were ordered. We sat with a sack of sandwiches, fully imagining a perfect lunch-beer, beer-cigar combo. Turns out California tobacco lounge laws and health codes had other plans. Outside food isn't allowed if they want to keep their indoor smoking exemption, so the staff had to politely shut down our dreams. Fair enough, lesson learned. Eat first, then smoke. Paid at the end. Overall pleasant experience and decent lounge. For the wine crowd, I did notice some genuinely nice bottles available. That said, if you're not a cigar person, this may be a "love it or leave it" atmosphere. Most people seem to find cigar smoke either rich and cozy or like sitting downwind of a smoky campfire wearing a wool sweater. If you fall into the second category, you may want to grab your wine elsewhere.

Valet parking is available for $10. WINE & FOOD: Vanessa poured for us and was an excellent host and wine educator. She greeted us with a complimentary pour of their 2024 Walt Rosé of Pinot Noir before delving into our wine background, experience, and explaining the various flights. She took the time to get to know us and made excellent recommendations. My wife and I shared the L'Amour de Blancs flight ($29), the Elegant Expressions flight ($59), and the Taste of Terroir flight ($99). Each flight consisted of three generous pours, and as we went through, Vanessa even poured a few extra Pinot Noirs she knew we'd enjoy. The wines are extremely well-made and quite elegant, offering a good balance of acidity, tannins, and flavors. Along with the wines, we also tried several items off their Savory Bites menu: Marinated Olives & Nuts ($10), Soppressata Croquettes ($15), Wild Mushroom Pâté & Black Truffle ($18), and the Duck Confit Crostini ($18). Everything was delicious and for those who might be unsure, the menu offers wine paring suggestions so you can't go wrong. We had an excellent, leisurely experience and enjoyed it so much, that we became members.
