We have lived in our home in the Niles area of Fremont for 24 years. Pretty much every summer our house is invaded by ants. The main problem is that they are attracted to the cat's food so we feel we need to do something about them. After failing with variousDIY remedies over the years followed by calling for professional help, we now just call for someone to spray around the foundation as soon as we see them. This always solves the problem for the entire summer. For over 20 years we used Keystone, but they were sold to another business which didn't work out for us last year. After checking Yelp we decided to try Frank Pest Control. It turned out to be so simple and easy. Frank answered the phone immediately and offered to come over the same day or the next, even though he was suffering from a respiratory virus. He asked for the size of our home and gave us a quote for the work. We scheduled for between 9 and 10 the next morning. He arrived at 9:20 and was done by 9:30. We didn't actually meet since he was ill, we communicated via text messaging. I paid him using Zelle as soon as he arrived. Great, reliable, fast, professional service. Frank responds quickly to phone calls (within a day) and for our last appointment he was able to come out the next day. I work for a building in an industrial area and we call Frank for his his pest control services because he's so dependable. Our square footage is on the higher end but Frank gives very reasonable pricing for an outdoor perimeter spray as well as spraying a few of our rooms, he didn't try to upsell either. I had a flea issue at my apartment which unfortunately tracked some fleas to my work - he treated my workplace. (He recommended to not be in the house for 3 hours. So we booked a hotel and let the place air out all night. Bunch of other exterminators said they had to move all your furniture and other B..S. Frank came in and sprayed. Said it might take a second treatment at half the original price. It was one and done. I have to tell you this guy is good! He came, he saw and he did a quick and thorough job. We have RATS, and I am not a big fan of those guys...YIKES!!! I have two dogs and one, Molly, is quite nosy, so he had to make sure that the traps were out of her reach. He did, thank you Frank. Now the traps await their prey!!!!! Dont hire this guy. Called him to come out to look at a mice problem. Showed up and set up a few traps, pointed out some cracks, and never came back out to check up on anything. In initial call, he said if we didn't catch any mices he would come back, never came back out. Gave me an attitude when i pointed this out and claimed if we didnt catch any mice in the kitchen, they were gone. Guess what....we found mices in other places in the house. Save your money and call Orkins, for cheaper price, they plugged up all the holes where the mices can get in. read more
