    Vegetarian Pizza (18")

Visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon as part of a group of about 40 people for an end of the year luncheon celebration. I was really impressed!! First, accommodating a party that large can't be easy, but the staff handled everything smoothly and provided great service throughout the meal. What stood out most to me was the food. I ordered the vegetarian pizza (with tomato sauce vs cheese to make it more vegan friendly). It was topped with artichokes, hearts of palm, and olives, and it was absolutely delicious!!! The flavors were well-balanced, and everything was seasoned perfectly. Between the excellent service and the outstanding food, this was a fantastic first experience. I'll definitely be returning!

Excellent food and wonderful staff!! I went when the restaurant was having a photo shoot but that did not take away from the great place this is. Me and my man will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Stuffed mushrooms. Great flavor but needs more meat!

I pass this place every day going to and from work. I'm only given it four stars because some of their dishes are good and some of their dishes are just all right. Now, for the good stuff... let's start with the pizza. I ordered the Gomez pizza and it was delicious. Instead of using tomato sauce it uses salsa Verde. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. Now for the food that was just all right. My husband loves chicken wings so I brought some home to him. They were a little burnt and he did not enjoy them. He actually told me not to bring him any more wings from here only the pizza. The service is good and the atmosphere is really nice. The other reason for four stars is because I had their stuffed mushrooms a while back, and I did not enjoy those at all. It needs they need more meat to me. They were very lackluster. I still like the place and they will definitely return for their pizzas and for their cosmos.

    Spinach and ricotta stuffed shells

A friend and I ate here together. She had me pick the restaurant, which I based on its strong reviews. She's local, I'm not, and it was our first visit. We were both blown away by the food and the service. I got the spinach stuffed shells, and it was one of the tastiest pasta dishes I ever ate. Be sure you have reservations, because we also discovered this place is popular. Enjoy!

Where the locals go... and I like to consider myself a neighborhood local, but I'm not officially on the VIP list to be remembered on a first name basis (yet). My schedule is always full, so making time to really enjoy myself & indulge with a bottle of wine or chill time at the bar can be hard. Pasta, Wine, Pizza, Wine, salad, Wine... really good Italian dishes here. Patio seating is available when it's not hot and when we come, we usually just drop in without a reservation. If your a planner, make one in advance for your group. Atmosphere is nice. Bar area tends to be a bit louder (as expected) but I feel like once everyone gets through half a bottle, it's kicks up a notch. Though not Italian, I started off with a spicy margarita... from there, we decided to get a pizza, the Tuscan Prosciutto, Chicken Parmigiana & split of a large dinner salad. Salad to start was good. It did take some time for our food to come out, but it delivered as expected. Pizza had a nice crust, and the prosciutto was a nice touch. Chicken Parm was good, but the sauce seemed really thin with the noodles was my only knock on the meal. Already making plans to return when some out of town friends arrive.

Such good pasta, we went in one afternoon for lunch and ordered take out for dinner in the same day. We visit AZ once a year for spring training and came across Pesto's last year. We knew we would be coming back! Wish we lived closer to enjoy this delicious food all the time. Our waiter (who I think was the owner) was so nice and was super on top of it.

Q: What did the basil say to the chef? A: Stop PESTO-ing me! Everybody knows about this Chandler gem. It's a busy place and it is best that you make reservation to ensure a table. If not,you might be lucky enough to grab a spot in the bar area. WILD MUSHROOM SACCHETTI |$18| pesto cream sauce | coarse parmigiana: Sacchetti is a type of Italian pasta that is stuffed and shaped like small bags or purses. These little sachets of pillowy dough held a lovely cheesy mushroom mixture and swam in a lovely pesto cream sauce. It was everything delicious! COMBO SUPREME PIZZA |$25| pepperoni | sausage | mushroom | green pepper | onion | black olives: Such a solid pizza that had me, "Mmm MMMMMMing" on the first bite. Not exactly foldable but sturdy enough to hold all the ingredients. If we're asking which pesto is the besto, the answer is clearly Pesto's! Check on their website or Instagram for their Pesto's Poet Society Weekend Specials (available Thursday-Saturday).

Do you know how duct tape and pasta are alike? They both fix everything. Joyce W. and I came to this Chandler gem at long last. We have always wanted to pop in and we finally stopped putting it off and wow. We ordered a Wild Mushroom Sacchetti $18 and a Combo Supreme Pizza $25. The pasta sachet of cheese and mushroom was a tasty dish in cream sauce. As for the pizza, it definitely hit the spot. I'm a pizza fanatic so I had no complaints whatsoever. Come to Pesto's for a good time and a great meal. Reservations are recommended as this place has a huge clientele.

My daughter was craving Italian food and picked this place based on Yelp reviews. I hadn't been here in over 10 years, and wow, what a makeover! The ambiance was festive and organized, with a massive fish tank full of exotic ocean fish. For starter, we ordered the Crispy Calamari with Fresno chili, and it was a hit--5/5 from my wife, daughter, and me. I had the Meatball Sliders, which were just okay until I added the leftover freshno chili from the calamari. My wife loved her Pesto & Pasta with Chicken, and my daughter gave her Ziti & Grilled Chicken a 5/5 too. Personally, I think they were a bit generous with their ratings, but maybe that's just me and my love for fusion food. Our server Erin was super attentive, making the dining experience even better. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars because I think the pasta dishes could use a bit more flavor.

We sat outside which was perfect, quiet and got to enjoy the cool weather. The inside looks nice and had a large fish tank which is super cool! The food was great! Honestly though, the most impressive part was our server Donny. He was very friendly, kind, and helpful. He met and exceeded all expectations and needs that arose. Probably the best service we've had at a restaurant ever. He was the best part! He made recommendations for food, wine, and dessert and not a single one missed. Had the Wild Mushroom Sacchetti, Lamb Burger, Baked Ziti, Tiramisu, and the Ziti and grilled chicken. All had the Riesling wine which was really good, and the Carmel and vanilla gelato!

    Rachel S.

Came for lunch, I hadn't been but a friend had been a few times. BEST DECISION!! Get over to this place asap for lunch specials and HH!! Dinner menu looks amazing so I need to be back! The restaurant is cozy and the service was great! 1/2 calzones are huge and still get a small side salad that was delicious. 1/2 sandwich and soup was spectacular! Best tortilla soup I've had, flavorful and lots of melted cheese. Sausage and pepper sandwich didn't disappoint, calzone was probably the way to go! Chicken and sun dried tomato was incredible and so was the sausage and pepperoni covered in cheese, you also get a side of marinara for dipping!! Next time I'll get drinks and dessert!

    Ask the Community - Pesto's

How much does their tiramisu cost?

    12.00/ huge slice

Do they still have Alfredo sauce?

They have a pesto Alfredo that is out of this world! I am not a big pesto fan but this sauce is balanced so well that the creamy cheese flavor is set off with the pesto. Highly recommend!

Is there an outdoor patio for dining?

Yes, they sectioned off a portion of the front porch for outside seating, be forewarned though it is in direct sun in the late afternoon. Quite pleasant otherwise.

In 2025 we couldn't stop raving about this place the food was amazing the service was impeccable. This last visit this weekend was disappointing. My partner ordered the beef wellington which was excellent and I ordered the duck which was...unexpected. The black cherry confit seemed non-existent, I think I actually got the same sauce that was on the Wellington. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure and the duck was prepared well so I just let it go. The creme brulee dessert was a disaster. The first order came out black and I told the waiter there was something wrong with it immediately. He had mentioned he was new so I'm guessing he wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like. I tried to crack into it and the top just molded with the spoon so I asked him to take it back because it was not right. I watched him show it to someone, who I was told was the owners son, and they sent another. The owners son dropped it off the table and said, this should be more to my liking and walked away. Well it was only slightly less burnt but it did crack so I tried it. Sugar was definitely burnt, you could taste it, and the custard was dripping wet instead of solid. I showed this to the other waiter who was helping and she understood immediately and took it back. She said let's just get you the lava cake instead and I said fine. It's too bad because the flavor on the custard itself was excellent and I was really looking forward to it. Needless to say I was disappointed when the dessert was not taken off the bill after all we had been through with it. I expect more when dinner for two costs almost $200.

This is actually a food truck, which is parked on the side of the Tipsy Catcus, which is a really cool brewery I also checked out while I was waiting for my order. This is a really chill brewery, and not a huge spot. Maybe 8 to 10 high top tables with bar seating, and a mostly open floor plan. They have a small patio too, with what looks like about another tables but because I visited at night, nobody was outside. They also seem to be extremely dog friendly as they had one table with a really chill cocker spaniel completely laid out on his side in the middle of the floor. I'm not sure how many taps they had in total, but definitely more than 40 I would say. I'm not a big beer drinker, so I ordered a cider. The cider I was served was on tap and really tasty. And it definitely hit the spot of terms of price point. One thing to note, while I was talking to the owner/manager of the tipsy cactus (shout to him because he was really cool), he told me that Friday night and Saturday nights are usually popping so I wouldn't expect to be first in line on any of those nights. It also looks like they rotate food trucks on different nights, so don't assume that the cheesesteak truck is going to be here every night. I would check the tipsy cactus website, or Instagram page to be sure. I'll definitely be looking forward to checking this place out again in the future, especially if I'm hitting one of the food trucks parked outside.

The restaurant offers a variety of seating options: outside patio, high-top outdoor seating, inside bar seating, and traditional indoor dining. We arrived in that sweet spot between lunch and happy hour, so the restaurant was quiet and relaxed, exactly how we like it. Drinks My Blue Hawaiian ($15) was absolutely amazing, it really hit the spot, and I was still feeling great when we left! My husband ordered the Pizza Port Chronic ($5) and said it was a nice, refreshing change of pace. Our Server Andrew Andrew greeted us immediately, walked us through both the food and drink menus, and was genuinely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He was the highlight of our visit. Exceptional service. Appetizer Butter Board & Bread We started with the Butter Board ($14), served with toasted bread. The butter itself, whipped with ricotta, herbs, and what I believe was a honey drizzle, was absolutely delicious. My only note is that the bread edges were toasted a bit too dark for my taste, leaving a slightly burnt crust flavor and aroma. Entrées I ordered the Seared Scallops ($48), which were plated with white potatoes, purple potatoes (possibly ube), and sausage over a rich sauce. Unfortunately, the purple potatoes had a burnt taste that was off-putting, and I wasn't able to finish much of my meal. My husband, on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed his Grilled Striped Bass ($48), beautifully plated and well-executed. Final Thoughts While my entree missed the mark this visit, Andrew's outstanding service and the overall ambience more than carried the experience. The space is gorgeous, the concept is lovely, and I can absolutely see returning when the seasonal menu refreshes. In my opinion, it's worth a second chance, we will be back.

The Caprese was top-notch, but the Pear & Gorgonzola blew our minds--sweet, crispy toppings on phenomenal bread. For my main, I had the Applewood Smoked Ham and Brie on a brioche bun. It was massive! Our server was attentive but gave us plenty of space to just be together. While the service was a bit on the slower side, it perfectly matches the vibe of the bar--there's no rush here. It's a place designed for you to slow down and enjoy the company you're with. The food is amazing, the service rocks, and the atmosphere is beyond perfect. You won't be disappointed if you give Mandy's a shot!
