This place is where you want to go if you want quality dog food and well educated staff! I went in to browse dog food for my upcoming puppy and Victoria helped me and my boyfriend right away! She was very very helpful and suuuper educated on the dog food and provided excellent customer service by answering all our questions about the dog food. She told us about options we did not know were there and she was again just amazing! I will never step into another pet store for my dog food except this one! Love this store! They carry the absolute best foods, none of the garbage brands. And all their toys, treats, leashes etc are made by independent smaller companies. There's a great selection, and the prices are always reasonable. Plus they have a really cool self-service dog wash with clean fluffy towels and great-smelling shampoos. I have been shopping here for my pets needs for some time now. My boyfriend and I bring his dog for weekly baths and the service has always been excellent. Today really stood out to me because they are giving free washes and treats on the house just to try and give to the community through trying times with the fire. After spending the morning at Hollywood Beach playing in the sand with my pooch, I decided to stop by Pet Food Express in Oxnard to check out their doggie Self-Service Pet Wash. I walked in with a very wet and sandy pooch and walked out, not just with a clean pup, but extremely impressed with the quality of customer service I received. Christina sweetly explained how the self-service pet wash worked and even came back to check on us a couple times to make sure we were doing ok. I'm so grateful to have a friendly and extremely clean establishment where I can stop by on my way home from a morning of fun at the beach! My wife and I are forever grateful to Raul and staff for generously opening the doors to the pet wash, and for not charging us. Today was free wash day (due to the fires/smoke In our area). As we arrived they were closing the doors due to smoke in the air. 45 min later we walked out with 2 fresh smelling long haired dogs (old English sheepdog and Bijan mix). I have been coming here for about a year now since I have moved here. We got a puppy and we are first time dog owners. I have always felt so welcomed by the staff (Vikki, Gabe, and Sarah) They always take the time with me to make sure I am getting the right type of food or snacks. I cannot tell you how much I feel at home here at the Pet Express in Oxnard. Especially, Vikki, Gabe, and Sarah have helped and taken the time to tell me what kind of food I should try since our dog has so many diet restrictions. I just wish I felt the same when I stopped awhile back at the Pet Express in Thousand Oaks. I was in that area and an older woman working wasn't as friendly and helpful. I was so disappointed because I thought I would get the same kind of customer service at the collections in Oxnard. As soon as you walk in at the Collection location the staff there welcome you. Decided to come here because I was given a free coupon for dog treats. I didnt even know the place existed but Im glad I did. This place is located in the Collection behind Lazy Dogs and next to Whole Foods the entrance is in the back by the parking lot next to the 101 fwy. They have a good selection of dog treats and they have a "dog wash" which is free until the 15th of May, cant beat that. Also you get 20% off your purchase good until the 15th as well. The staff is nice and I like that they greet us and how they quickly ask us if we need any help. There is a lady that work there, whuch I need to get her name. She is very knowledgeable and has told us what is good and not good for our dog. She doesnt try to sell us something if our dog doesnt need it. She has helped us the times we came here and Im glad she did otherwise I would of bought something that my dog wouldnt of needed. Really great service, clean store and it looks like they are well stocked. From what it looks like they have everything from leashes, to grooming stuff, food, crates and beds and toys. Friendly/helpful staff! Easiest and best bath I've ever given my dog. I have a German Shepherd, Husky mix and the self service bath went above and beyond my expectations. Definitely bringing him back here for every bath. Used the pure oxygen station which was recommended by staff and it was perfect for my thick/long haired pooch. My dog has never smelt better. I LOVE this location. I think it's the best in the city. They have great selection for all kind of pets and unlike other pet stores this store is very organized and the employees definitely know their stuff!!! The lines move really quick and the customer service is awesome!! My favorite part about this store is their pet wash station. We brought my boyfriend's pitbull for a bath and it was amazing not having back aches from constantly bending over in the bathtub at our house. The water was warm and the best part was the employees offered to clean up after we were done! Definitely recommend my friends and family to come to this pet store! read more

I have had one of the most amazing customer services this weekend at Pet Food Express. In addition to receive a discount with the purchased of a kitty condo, when I realized the kitty condo is too large to fit inside of my car, to my disbelief, the assistant manager, Shawn, offered and delivered the kitty condo with his own truck to my house himself!!
