We come here 1x a month to give our pups a bath & once every 2 months to buy food. 1000% take advantage of Pet Food Expresses Buy 3 get the 4th free. We have 2 big floofs, and each will use up 2 wash tokens (one for wash one for dry). At $18 a token, if you buy 3 tokens you get the 4th one free, coming out to $27 per dog per wash. Such great deal for the convenience. The Buy3 get the 4th free also applies to bags of kibble! We go through 2x 22lb bags a month, so at $80 a bag before tax, we save quite a bit. Staff is always friendly and we love how clean and organized the store always is. Would recommend over petsmart/Petco to any pet parent!

I went to just check it out. It's close to my work. I was looking around and I noticed they had a self service pet wash. I felt like I was bothering the employees to ask for help to start the self wash. They were kinda just rude from the beginning. I don't think I'll go to this location again. Or if I do I'll just talk to other employees than the ones I saw. One of them was nice but the others were a bit rude. The self wash was okay. I've seen better but I must say I did like the shampoo and rinse options. I was hoping the drying hose was a little stronger because my dog has thicker hair. They also only provide 2 towels which is not enough for my dog. $18 for a 25 minute cycle. Paid less and have had better quality at other places.

Amazing choice of pet care products , their bulk cookies are the BOMB (according to my fur baby) and they gave me lots of samples and assisted me my entire visit! Helping me choosing toys for her birthday , asking about her. Diet and the check out experience was also very smooth !

The self-service pet wash is easy and convenient to use, even with our bath averse pooches. Much thanks to the very helpful staff who gave us great instructions!

My first time stopping by. The place is a great medium size store. Not a huge warehouse. But well stocked. It has the certain kitty litter we were looking for and the foods the veterinary doctors are suggesting. The young lady named Ash took care of me and was very informative and helpful. She saw me buying a couple of bags of kitty litter and informed me about the buy 3 get 1 free deal going on right now and I found it appropriate to buy another bag because with 4 kitties and a 5th cat in the house you don't want to run out. So my visit was well done and all under COVID-19 procedures. They even have dog training classes for those of you looking. A good back up store to those in your area that do not have what you are looking for.

Our dog was getting tired of eating dry dog food all the time. My brother referred me to try DIY nutrient blend. The ingredients included were: 1. Meat: Chicken gizzards, chicken liver, and chicken thighs (skin or skinless) 2. Long grain rice 3. Veggies: Carrots, spinach, green or red apple (seedless) The store has a playpen for pets to play while you can do your shopping. They have many frozen pet food options. The staff here are very nice and helpful. My picky dog really love the DIY food. I wish they open a location here in Milpitas.

In the past I would buy my pet's food at suppliers like Target, Safeway, or Walmart. It wasn't until I accompanied my boyfriend to a PFE that I learned quickly how the environment is much better, and different from the rest! I've recently come here to bring our two cats to get their vaccines up to date, claw trims, and to do full physical exams. I've used VIP pet care before but one their a la carte clinics that pop up around the Bay Area. When I found out Pet Food express has an in-house VIP Pet center, it saved me the stress of finding another vet and redoing the entire process. What was great about my experience at VIP Pet was that the wait time is not long at all - even less if you make an appointment (WHICH IS ENCOURAGED SO YOU ARE GUARANTEED TIME!) I came in as a walk in on Monday with one of my two cats, and the staff helped me get a spot and ensure my pet had as much undivided attention as he needed. I learned from this, and came in around 12pm (come early to reserve a spot!) and got an appointment for my second cat - which was necessary since it was much busier this day! From my appointments, I learned about my cat's need to shed a few pounds, and was assisted in finding the best food! An in store associates gave me positive feedback on popularity of foods, benefits, and we even got an approval for the vet too. This process was so well tailored and helped me feel like I was doing the most for my pets' well being and safety. The amount of food, products, and solutions for any pet problem is insane! Getting trusted advice from pet lovers and having multiple options makes Pet Food Express the place to go. Not to mention, customer service is always above and beyond and the atmosphere is always so joyful! At both locations I go to (Campbell and blossom hill) I've been pleasantly surprised at how consistent they are with friendliness, great value options, and knowledge. Thanks for all of your help! My cats are loving their new cat food and are thriving with their trimmed nails not being inconvenient to them.

The first year with my golden retriever, Luka, was extremely hard. He was a mouthy dog who had zero boundaries at home or outside. He would get excited or frustrated and grab/bite onto my shoes or clothes daily. Walking him became an impossible task because he was extremely dog-reactive, and he dragged me a couple of times while trying to chase another dog. Walking him also became a two-person job, with someone always on the lookout for other dogs so we could turn the other way. He also began to resource guard and snapped at my dad twice.. I had already spent thousands on another trainer and didn't have much success. I began to feel like this was just what life with Luka would be like forever. It got to the point where I felt scared of him, and the life I was giving him out of that fear wasn't fair to him. So I decided to try and get help one last time. I found Lori's page and after reading the reviews I became hopeful again. I took Luka in for an evaluation, and Lori recommended their board-and-train program. I can't thank Chelsea and Lori enough for everything they've done. I've learned so much about Luka, how to manage different situations, and how to better understand his behavior. We had training lessons throughout his board-and-train stay and afterward, because we are the ones who need most of the training! Chelsea did an amazing job with Luka. At home, Luka is unrecognizable in the best way. We can actually go on adventures outside without being terrified that we won't be able to handle him. Those who knew Luka before his stay and see him now always comment on how well he is doing. I cannot recommend Lori Hamilton's Dog training enough to anyone who feels like they've tried everything and is feeling discouraged. I am so thankful because it finally feels like Luka and I can start living life and enjoying everything around us.

He was an anxious, leash pulling, cat chasing, chewing, biting and jumping-- hiding inside an adorable shell. We started in Lori's group class, then did private one on one training with her and ultimately 4 weeks of board and train at her facility. She trained us and trained him and ultimately transformed life at home. Our 3 cats are now able to be in the same room as him. Our visitors no longer have him standing up on their chest in exuberant greeting. We can relax and have dinner without Ruben trying to eat our feet or running zoomies around the room. We can walk him without having our arms ripped out of our sockets. He is calm around other dogs. He is crate trained and easily goes to sleep at night. He has his own treadmill and works out twice a day, in addition to our daily walks. We been to Pack walks with Lori and 15 other dogs, all walking obediently through the Pruneyard shopping center. The dogs get to work on socialization and good manners on these field trips. Lori came to our house and we staged a meal with a visitor. It really helped us learn how to keep him on his best behavior during meal time with a guest!!! Our first year with Ruben was really tough, he was not the mellow golden retriever we anticipated. Lori's teaching changed everything. She provided the methods and the tools to help us have the best outcome and a relaxed home life with our beautiful dog; more than we ever expected!!!

Initially, I was given a clear treatment plan by the first veterinarian I saw. However, during a follow-up visit, additional services and procedures were introduced that were not part of that original plan, without clear communication or justification. More concerning, Shiloh was prescribed a probiotic that was intended for dogs, not cats. After administering the medication, she became extremely ill. This was not only distressing, but completely avoidable and raises serious concerns about attention to detail and patient safety. In addition to the medical issues, I experienced repeated difficulties with front desk staff, who were unprofessional and dismissive. When I escalated my concerns to management, instead of addressing the situation, I was abruptly dismissed as a client. At that point, I had already paid for diagnostic testing, yet no follow-up, explanation of results, or continuity of care was provided. As a result, I was forced to seek care elsewhere and pay additional expenses, while also dealing with the stress of my pet's declining condition. This experience reflects a lack of accountability, poor communication, and concerning medical oversight. I would strongly encourage others to ask detailed questions, verify medications carefully, and advocate closely for their pets when seeking care here.

I spent over $1,000 on that first visit. Just two weeks later, I found worms crawling out of them. For a clinic that claimed to have dewormed and run stool analysis, this was alarming and disappointing. On top of that, the customer service doesn't reflect the values they claim to have. If the staff were as attentive and caring as advertised, they would review patient charts, follow up on issues I had already raised (like worms), and ask the right questions on subsequent visits. Instead, I've had to push for updates and reminders myself. The front desk and techs seem disengaged, rarely smiling or showing genuine care for the animals or their owners. I also question whether certain treatments were even done properly. For example, I was told my kittens were dewormed and their stool was tested, but based on what happened shortly after, I doubt those procedures were carried out thoroughly. Overall, the service feels careless and transactional, and I'm never coming back.
