Enter Royal Paws Nationwide Pet Transportation. This is a service whose time is long overdue. They have been in business since 2000, however, I was unaware of them until this year. They are incredible. Only your pets are transported in an SUV or minivan that has been outfitted for their comfort with their beds, toys, blankets, whatever. The drivers switch driving so they are not stopping at hotels. The transit time for our pets was only 1.5 days. They were picked up and dropped off exactly on time, we received texts and photos along the way, and Hugh and Nola were available for phone calls at any time if we'd wanted to do that. It is quite obvious that both Hugh and Nola are pet people. They stop frequently to feed, water, and walk the dogs, never around other animals, and they treated them as their own. Fantastic folks! The process is thorough during the booking, worryfree during the transit and the cost is entirely appropriate. I cannot provide a higher recommendation for this company. They are great!

The airlines contacted me to tell me that my cats, Frank and Blue, wouldn't be able to fly with me because the tarmac was going to be too warm. I had an important interview and had to leave the cats behind at the vet. I desperately searched for pet transport companies. Animal Land was the first to get back to me. More important, they were the nicest. Jennifer patiently explained the process. She worked directly with the vet to make sure the cats had everything they needed. I received a confirmation email stating the itinerary (LAS to DTW on 6/4 with flight nanny "Seven") and was told to pay the remaining $500 within 48 hours to secure the delivery--which I did. They then sent a second confirmation saying everything was booked and I'd hear from the flight nanny 2-3 days prior to the flight. I never heard from anyone. Less than 24 hours before the scheduled flight, after I reached out first, I received a text saying the flight nanny had backed out due to "unforeseen reasons." They promised a quick solution but then went radio silent. I sent multiple messages--no response. I had to call them myself and was told they had no update and still hadn't found a replacement. As a small business owner, this ordeal has cost me money lost work for taking the day off (which I anticipated but with the result of my animal being transported) in addition to the fees I paid them and the time/travel expenses incurred by both parties involved. I traveled to Las Vegas for the handoff, and the receiver traveled to Detroit--only to be left in limbo with no accountability and no clear plan. Everything on my end was handled promptly and professionally. QT Pet Transport, on the other hand, has shown dismal communication, zero urgency, and a complete lack of reliability for a service involving live animals. I'm still waiting to hear back from them on a resolution. If their level of service improves or they resolve this responsibly, I'll gladly update this review to reflect this. Until then, I can't recommend them to anyone.

She took all the stress off of me trying to coordinate flights, vet visits, and health certifications and was in constant contact to make sure we were on schedule for everything. She kept in contact with the team across the pond to make sure Florence's reception went well. This kind of travel can be stressful for any kind of pet and she gave me documentation with tips on how to make it easier for her as well as what I needed to do for her crate to pass inspection.....and we did. The transport company at the airport was impressed with everything we had ready for them. They kept me informed every step of the way. He even came in on a different flight than was scheduled and Anita, the driver took special care that he had a place to stay overnight before the drive to Atlanta. I couldn't have done this last minute without PAC and I wouldn't recommend any other company to handle your pet's transportation needs.
