Chase was way overdue for a grooming as I was having problems getting around and walking, I called and explained my situation to Amanda (Chase's favorite! but he does like them all) and she assured me it was no problem, she would come get him from the car, she handled my check-out and even gave him a quickee walk before putting him back in the car. very upset with grooming department. I have been a customer for over 2 years, I brought my dog in every 5 weeks for a full service grooming and in between he would have quick face grooming. he was never a problem, he is very sweet and cooperative. there was a discrepancy with an added charge on my bill the last time we were there , nobody had communicated to me that nails were no longer part of the FULL SERVICE grooming package and there was an additional charge. I questioned it and made a comment about how much I had always paid and it was never communicated to me beforehand, I was upset because I felt the way I was treated was wrong, instead of telling me prices have increased but there was zero signage anywhere in the grooming area stating any of their prices which was strange because for over two years they had prices up on the wall and on the dry erase board. They gave me alot of pushback and i told the groomer I didn't have enough to tip her because of the unexpected extra charges. the next day I went b with a cash tip and to schedule my 2 monthly appointments and the groomer said that I disrespected her and she can't groom my dog anymore but accepted the cash tip and told me she couldn't take my dog anymore. That is unacceptable. what business allows this ? to not take my dog anymore after years of going there because of a discrepancy with the bill ? awful :( my dog is a sweetheart and he doesnt deserve this . i realize groomers are more animal people but telling me my dog isn't low there anymore because I was upset about the bill ? I love this store! Everyone is helpful and happy to answer questions. When I couldn't find something I appreciated that the sales associate walked me a few aisles over and found the item for me. don't recommend this place. I took my cat to be looked at since he has a heart disease. they immediate wanted me to put him down, didn't even try to give him medication to see how he does. They were not compassionate , they seemed very money hungry like that was all that mattered. It hurts to say some healthcare systems don't really care nowadays, I took him somewhere else and they got him on medication and did not recommend putting him down to at least see how he does. I'm glad I made that choice instead of going with their option. read more

A great shop to address all your fur babies needs! FH and I were fortunate enough to stop here during their grand opening last weekend. About every five steps a store employee would pounce on us to ask if we were ok and if we needed any help finding anything. The store employs a Stepford-style staff ready and willing to jump at your beck and call. There was a nice selection of dog toys that were reasonably priced for the most part and made in the USA. Highlights of the store included a bag your own treat bar and home-baked style goodies from local doggie treat maker Tail Bangers. They had adorable birthday bone biscuit cakes. I choose two carob ice cream cone cookies w/ sprinkles for my little rascals. They offer flyers with coupons as well as a frequent shopper incentive program. Full and self service grooming options are also available. One concern my FH pointed out to me was how narrow the aisles were. We noticed right away that a small poodle dog looked terribly frightened and skittish as we squeezed by. It's unfortunate but we predict some dog fights and bites in the future as the aisles really aren't conducive to multiple dogs and people shopping. Unless your pet is portable or you are dropping them off for grooming while you shop, I would leave them at home. I love the heavy influence of made in America pet products, treats, & food so I will definitely be back to support this shop! read more

As a new doggie mama, I was able to get all the necessities for my new dog. There's a huge selection of food, leashes, collars, toys and treats. We went shopping with an experienced dog owner who was able to provide guidance. According to her experiences, these prices were on par with most pet stores. The staff was nice, but didn't seem overly knowledgeable and just tried to sell the featured products. I'd go back when in the area, especially when I have some brand affinity and know which products my pup prefers. read more

Sooo, first the good. I love the groomers, they do a great job. However, when the pricing goes up from $80 for the first visit to over $200 for the fourth with a statement that includes, "we did you a favor..." it is time to move on. I am sad as they really loved my dog but when you price yourself above what the service is worth, you lose loyal clients. read more

Have been frequenting this store since they opened in the Fairfax shopping center 4ish years ago. Definitely my preferred pet store in the area. Have used their dog grooming services for those 4 years and am generally happy with the results - pricing seems fair and have only left concerned about the cuts once or twice. I also frequent the self-wash station (please fix the metal gate thing on the elevated wash stand! - it is always falling off) and it generally makes washing my pets in between grooms easier than getting them in the tub at home. As other reviewers have said, pricing on food and accessories is on par with other large pet places. I buy food and some things online for better prices, but overall appreciate the services offered here. read more

Staff here is always extremely helpful, especially when it comes to putting heavy cat litter the car. At other stores, the wait is forever, if you can get help at all. There is always an associate around when you have a question, again something you never find in other pet stores. The store is extremely clean, as are the animal cages, and is usually well stocked. No stinky smell, sometimes found in other pet stores. I have been to their adoption events, but it would be nice if they had some cats there all the time to help out with the homelessness. Probably not enough room though. This is now my go to pet store. read more

I stopped here for the first time on my way to the rescue where I got my dog. I wasn't really sure what I needed or should get, the staff was helpful & didn't try & sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. I've been back a number of times since & is always the same. The staff is always friendly & helpful. The prices are good, usually less than other places. I tried the self service grooming last week because it was less expensive then where I'd been going but I wasn't thrilled with the shampoos they had available (they didn't lather well & seemed cheap or too watered down). I have been going to Pet Supplies for many years. I love the friendly staff and they are always willing to help with questions. I take my dog to the self bathing area. It is great ! Soap, towels, warm water its perfect. Yesterday I took my lab to be shaved and nails cut. I am so impressed with how well they did. I believe Erin was the lady who groomed my dog. She was very friendly and my dog was super happy. I will continue to shop at this pet store and bring my lab in for her grooming needs. read more

They had the 10gallon led aqueon aquarium kit for $59.98 and I got it with my pet club savings for $39.98!
