I take 2 of my dogs here to get groomed. One is what you would call a difficult dog. I warn them every time I take him in and every time, they tell me not to worry. They're always so nice and my pain in the butt dog always comes out happy, looking good and smelling nice. My other dog loves his trips to the groomer. He doesn't even look back when they take him in anymore. Today, the man took him back and I heard the groomer get excited to see him. It takes a lot of trust to leave your babies to just anyone. Never take you're dig there I took my westie there for years and then one day took him for his appointment at 10:00 am they did not get him done till 2:30 pm and had him in a cage that whole time while they took in walk ins and done them first. He us a westie and they shaved him to his skin you could see the pink on his skin shaved him down , he looked like a rat when I finally could pick him up . He was traumatized and was hurting so bad I cried days looking at him in discomfort Zane couldn't believe what they did and then the girl adjed me if he was matted when I brought him in ! I was livid and the owner knew I never brought him like that and akways had a westie cut! I demanded my money back and told them I would NEVER take him there again. My dog was traumatized! If you love you're dog NEVER TAJE THEM TO PRECIOUS PAWS . As God is my judge all true ! Imagine you're dof in a cage for 41/2 hours ! And I had an appt. Took walk in first so they said. I just think that she wanted to blame whatever was wrong with her dog so that she could get some money to pay her vet bill. Took my dog in for a grooming. She looked good, but shortly after bringing her home, she started scooting her butt on the ground and licking herself. I called them to ask if this was a normal reaction to having her anal glands expressed and they said not to worry. Hours later, she wouldn't walk more than a few steps without slamming her butt on the ground. Her vulva region was red and swollen. She was clearly in great discomfort. I took her to the vet and they said it was probably a reaction to the shampoo or the clippers used to groom her, though the vet would not put it in writing, which I thought was reasonable because the vet doesn't know what other things our dog could have gotten into. The thing is that I DO know that she has never had a problem like this, she had not done anything unusual before the grooming, and that it happened immediately after I took her to be groomed. It doesn't take a giant leap of logic to connect the two events. Regardless, we were given some prednisone for the swelling and itching, and a $73 bill. I thought that the owners would be reasonable enough to offer me some compensation since my $48 grooming ended up costing me an extra $73 from the vet visit. It took a full day and two visits to the business for the owner to get back to me. According to him, since I couldn't prove that the grooming caused the irritation, he was not willing to even acknowledge that it caused the problem. No apology was given, no gesture of goodwill was made, nothing. Then I was passed on co-owner. After informing them that I would be writing a negative review on the internet, I was threatened with legal action for slander and hung up on. My cat got out of my house and while she was out she got matted. We thought we lost her. I had to get her groomed when we found her cause of all the matts. Poor thing. Thank goodness we found her cause we love her so much. I called precious paws and I got an appointment. The women was very professional and scheduled me. My cat did not like the grooming and wasn't able to get a wash but they helped my kitty by shaving her down so she looked so much better. I will definitely be back. Took my newly re homed medium sized dog to PP for a bath and nails clipped. She is very shy so a bit worried. 1.5 hrs later I walk in to pick her and she is smelling and looking lovely! I have tried several places for my dog, Daisy. I was taking her to a small, privately owned business, but it closed. I tried the large businesses, but Daisy was not very good. I determined that she liked the small places without the distraction of a lot of other dogs being around. Precious Paws is my new groomer. I think a husband and wife own this, and i will say that when the wife is there, you are fine, but the husband, he's a different story. I have taken my dog there alot to be shaved, and the last time we went my dog came home infested with fleas. They called me while he was there and told me he had fleas, (which i knew was a lie) but when i got there to pick him up, he had them. So i bought a dose of flea stuff for him, and it must have been old, because it didn't help at all. I called to explain and get my money back, and the husband said, reluctantly, "I will give you your money back this one time, but just don't buy anything from us again." NOT A PROBLEM, wasn't planning on it after that attitude! Needless to say, i will never go back, and if they want to keep customers, the husband should stay home and let his wife run the place! read more

FANTASTIC SELF-SERVE DOGGIE WASH. If you wash your dog in the back yard as I used to do, then this place is FANTASTIC. I have a Husky who hated groomers, and I always felt she was manhandled at other groomers. I resigned myself to doing her grooming. Was hesitant to try this place, but so happy I did. For $12.00, they supplied everything including shampoo, and there was a perfect bath that she could walk up a ramp and into. It was perfect at waist height, no bending over the baby pool. She was hooked in and remained standing to get her belly washed. They provided the high-powered blow dryer, towels and plastic apron to keep me from getting wet (brought my own rubber gloves and brush--they provided brush, but don't like using someone else's). They should raise the price. We were in and out in half an hour. So much better than dropping her off at the groomers! read more

The service was perfection. The price is great! Scheduling was easy. I called late yesterday afternoon and had an appointment today before noon. In just a couple of hours the job was beautifully done. My dog was handled as if she was their own pet. Her cut was just to my request and her nails trimmed perfectly. As a matter of fact, my bichon poo behaved better for them during her grooming than she does for me. I especially love their little store with choice of collars and accessories, gourmet treats, pet odor candles and more! I will definitely go again and highly recommend! read more
