super chicken sandwich and mac n cheese bites with a side of marinara. will pass on the bites
    Em B.

I've eaten from here at least a handful of times, always delivery. They have good calzones and today I ordered a super chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese bites, on a Tues at 320 pm. they said 45 min wait, it was more like an hour and I was .3 miles away from them. when I got the food the sandwich was on the bottom of the bag underneath the Mac n cheese bites causing the bread to be very squished. is it not common sense to put it on top? The Mac and cheese bites had a very weird fried coating and had practically no cheese in them, I ate 2 and threw them away. they were the worst I've had. the super chicken was very good but the onion roll was very squished and 1/3 of the bottom bun was missing it was ripped wrong. not impressed.

    Delicious large cheese.

Solid pizza, decent fries, quick service. Nothing phenomenal, but definitely not bad. Great for kids.

I really liked the dough, the assortment of cheeses was fine (not my favorite but not bad), and the sauce was probably my least favorite part of it, I'm not sure if it was basil or oregano but that was the main flavor profile from it. We unfortunately did not get to come when the owner was in since she isn't feeling well, but her niece was working really hard to hold down the fort by herself.

This is one slice. Although it's good size, it was extremely thin and burned.

You don't actually get fries with your sandwich. No, that's considered a "luxury item" here--almost $10 for a pile of potatoes, as if they were hand-carved from marble. At those prices, you half-expect them to come with a certificate of authenticity. The dining setup is another puzzle. The ordering area is cavernous--roomy enough to host a small wedding--while the actual tables feel like an afterthought, crammed into tight corners and always overcrowded. Locals? Forget it. This place runs on tourist cash, and it shows. You'll find yourself trying to enjoy a slice while being elbowed by a family of seven comparing witch trial souvenirs. Service is friendly, but basic. Don't expect table delivery; if you want your food, you'll need to stage a retrieval mission across the crowded floor while balancing your overpriced fries like they're a Fabergé egg. Still, here's the kicker: the food is so good you'll put up with it. The pizza's delicious, the sandwiches are exceptional, and the fries--financial robbery aside--are worth it. Four stars because the food carries the place on its back. One star off for charging champagne prices in a paper-plate joint.

April 17, 2026 I…read morewent with my parents tonight to the Adriatic Restaurant (Washington Street), Salem, MA. We've started having dinner out twice a month and this was the most recent experience. I had gone online to the NORTH SHORE DINNING PAGE on Facebook and asked people about their experiences with the restaurant in the last two days and here's what people said: "great, tender meatballs", "great eggplant parmigiana", "very good experience". .... And what we found out is that they were right. Those things were all true! Now.... As to what we ordered: I got the grilled octopus. It was the only partial miss on the menu. Arugula just doesn't make a very good sauce and it was a pretty bad base for what would otherwise might have been a great appetizer. My mother got the Caesar salad. It was good. It's a hard thing to screw up. My father ordered the meatballs. They were amazing and delicious - just like Facebook promised. The tzatziki sauce was good. Maybe not as good as mine, but good nonetheless. So dinner.... Mine was the Chicken Saltimboca. It was so good that I'd bathe in the sauce they make with it. I loved eating forkfuls of the chicken with bites of the mashed potatoes. That was really luxuriant. My mother had the Eggplant parmigiana and she wiped out the entire plate. She loved it. My father.... Beef tenderloin tips. Maybe cooked slightly too much, but delicious. He wiped out the plate. To drink.... I was out of the hospital and recovering from brain tumor surgery, so I had the hard cider (3.5% BV), my father had the Peroni (Italian) beer, and my mother had the Bud light. I tasted the Peroni and liked it very much. The hard cider had almost no sweetness to it. It was dry as a higher end brut champagne.... Which actually set off the meal really nicely. My tastes weren't clashing and that was good. Our waiter, Sean, was great. Ask for him! We left a $32 tip, so the bill came to $197.85

I had a delicious espresso martini and for apps I tried the arancini and picked off my sister's caesar salad. They were both alright, but the caesar could've used more dressing and I didn't love the flavor of the arancini - just a bit bland. For my entree I had the shrimp scampi. This also really lacked flavor, and I was yearning for more tomatoes. The service was great and our waitress Leanna was attentive and super sweet. They had clean bathrooms and ample parking out front and around the block. However, the food wasn't memorable, and I don't think I'll go out of my way to return.

I ordered a Salmon Bowl ($16 plus tax) which was ready in about 25 minutes after ordering since there were already large orders before mine. I watched the two cooks prepare food in the kitchen as I waited. The Salmon Bowl was really good with nice flavors, which had white rice, mixed greens, red onions, pico de gallo, hot tender honey glazed salmon smoothed with a pesto mayo. I will definitely have to drop in again for a hot sandwich with a smoothie!
